Donny rolled up next to Roxy as he helped her load her things into the back of the hummer. He noticed that she seemed to have brought a lot of bedding and bathroom stuff. He didn't realize any of it was suppose to be for him. Once Roxy's things were put away Donny packed away his few stuff as well and pushed the carts off the side.

"Home Donny." It's time to go home. I want to get some painting done before dark." Roxy told him. She could have explained that some of the items were for him and others that came but she decided to wait and surprise him.

"Roger." The ride home was, thankfully, uneventful. BY the time they reached home there was still plenty of sun light out for Roxy to do her painting. Donny noticed that the fellow from before, Drake, was wondering around. Seemed like he got himself comfortable. Parking the car out of sight of the street, Donny went to the trunk to unload. "I'll handle the groceries and stuff. You should go ahead and get started on your room while there' still natural light."

"I'm not working on my room." Roxy told him. She grabbed the bed and bath stuff and headed to Donny's room. She folded two towels and two wash clothes for him. She also place toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, shampoo, and razer a in the bathroom for him. Then she placed folded sheets and bedding on the bed for him. Then she headed to one of the empty rooms.

Donny gave Roxy an inquisitive look as she mentioned not working on her room. "Okay..." Regardless, Donny went to work putting the groceries away. He found the kitchen, and just as he imagined, there was barely enough power flowing through the hotel to even keep the freezer's cool. There was hardly much frost forming on the surface, but for now it should keep their perishable food from spoiling for at least a month. He moved the rest of his things into the kitchen, placing the Microwave Oven onto a counter and the gas stove somewhere there it's open flame won't burn anything. Now that he was finished, he wondered if he should try to make dinner. They certainly had enough food, and he found some pots and dishes for them to eat with. Water was running too, clean, though he'd still want to boil it extensively. "Alright, something simply but good. Let's see what we have here...."

*Drake heads into the room Donny was in and leans against the wall as he watches him put everything away, once he asked what he should make was when Drake spoke up* "You need help or something? Cause I had to cook for myself on very... unappealing cans of things before... and they turned out nice. It's different to have new things besides canned items..."

Donny turned towards Drake as he entered. He wanted to help, so Donny figured he could make him useful. "Yeah, actually. I got a fairly simple idea. I already got most of the ingredients here, but we could use a bit of meat. Think you can go out and get me about five pounds of beef shoulder?" He asked as he began to clean some vegetables. "Oh, and some beer too. Doesn't have to be too fancy."

Donny turned towards Drake as he entered. He wanted to help, so Donny figured he could make him useful. He asked as he began to clean some vegetables.

*Drake nods and heads out to get the things with his money he has. After some time he comes back with the beef and beer, it's a very nice kind of beer used for cooking.* "There we go. Anything else you need? And yes I'm fast when I want to be."

Donny was about to start cutting up the veggies when Drake came back. This surprised Donny. "Well than. Cut up these potatoes, carrots, and meat into one inch by one inch pieces, as best as you can. After that dice these onions and jalapeños peppers, and put them, the beef, butter, and some salt and pepper into a sauce pan and fry them over the gas stove. Once the meat is brown and the onions are translucent come get me. I'm going to work on the side dish." Donny said as he took out a loaf of bread.

Donny was about to start cutting up the veggies when Drake came back. This surprised Donny. Donny said as he took out a loaf of bread.

*He does as Donny asked him, cutting the carrots finely and potatoes as needed. He then cuts the meat as best as he can as it's hard to cut raw meat into small pieces. He then dices the Onions and Peppers and tossed them with the meat into the frying pan and starts to cook them with some pepper and salt that he had. He continues to cook them until it is brown like he was told and the onions were translucent and heads over to get Donny. It's been quite some time before he finally gets to him* "Ok it's done. I'll keep stirring until your ready and I'll turn down the heat to keep it hot." *He starts back off.*

Donny put some bowls onto the counter just as Drake told him he finished with frying. "Good, good. Alright, a few things. First, wash the bowls. Next, I need you to make rice." He pointed towards a five-pound bag of rice on the counter. "Let's see... Fill three bowl with about a quarter of rice, and than fill it half way with water. Pop the three bowls in the microwave and let them cook for about five minutes. By than I should be done with the stew." Donny took over gas stove as he let Drake off to work. Donny took two cans of the beer Drake brought and tasted them. "Tangy." He said as he poured both cans into the sauce pan. He than put in the potatoes and carrots and began to stir the stew until the soup started to turn brown. "Oh, and find Roxy and ask her what she wants to drink. We got some water and beer here, but I figured that as my first time cooking dinner, we might as well have something nice to drink. If you go out, get me some Brisk. Actually, get me a lot of Brisk.

He than put in the potatoes and carrots and began to stir the stew until the soup started to turn brown.

*Drake nods and does so. Making sure to clean the bowls thoroughly and microwaves the rice and water as he was told. He nods to Donny* "Done here." *He then quickly heads off to find Roxy.*

*Drake smiles and takes a scrubber and gets down and starts to clean with her* "Donny asked what you would like to drink with your meal."

"What are you doing?" Roxy asked as she watched him in disbelief.

*He looks back at her* "Cleaning. Just trying to help." *He continues to clean and scrub.*

"Why?" Roxy asked as she set her scrub brush. "What do you expect to get out of it.

*He looks at her* "Nothing really... Just thought I should help." *He goes back to scrubbing* "And you still didn't tell me what you would like to drink with your meal."

"I wasn't planning on eating. I have a lot of work to do." Roxy told him. She didn't understand why he was helping her. But she wasn't going to stop him. She had been working on the hotel for months and had barely made a dent in the things that had to be done. "You and Donny enjoy lunch."

*He shakes his head quickly and keeps going* "I'm not hungery... I think it was cause I had something after dealing with the dozen guys that tried to follow you two as you ran off... then cut me deep as I crawled back to the hotel. Glad I didn't bleed too much for me to not be able to clean up..."

"You got hurt." Roxy curse. She hadn't thought about him after Donny had hijacked her. She should have made sure that he was ok. "Let me see! We will get you batched you and then you will eat lunch. Donny need someone to help him finish whatever he's made."
