Enasi pats the snake's head as Seishu startled it. "Relax, relax. Your hugs are getting too tight!" The snake instant loosened its grip and hissed lightly as if apologizing. "It's okay. Not many of the dream denizens like Seishu at first glance. But don't worry, I won't let him hurt you." When Seishu landed and the giant snake hissed Enasi comforted it. The giant snake lowered to the ground and slithered up to a tree. It decided to watch the two from a distance, eyeing Seishu just in case he did something he wasn't suppose to. The high level of negative energy was too risky around Lord Enasi. And they were alone.

Enasi didn't bother to shoo the giant snake on. He knew it was just being weary, so Enasi let him slither behind them. As the leaves and trees shuddered, he couldn't help but feel what they felt. He sensed their uncomfortable feelings with the Nightmare being so dangerously close. It faltered though. Seishu collected himself and his energy. Even though their surroundings were quite uncomfortable, they relaxed as Enasi brushed fingers over the trees and plants he could reach. He shared his own energy with them to keep them calm. As Seishu spoke, Enasi looked to where he had pointed. By this time Enasi's wings were closed and hidden so he didn't bump into anything. "I can see their shudders. That unsettling feeling, I can feel it too. It's as if they're trying to warn me of the danger..." He smiled and continued brushing fingers against some of the plants. "But I know how dangerous Seishu is, so it's okay. Besides, he's still recovering."

His talking seemed to calm the forest life further and he nodded and held on to Seishu's hand, maneuvering through the forest. "It's easy for me to figure out how to hide you here. As long as you keep your energy low enough and I can calm everything, it's much harder to sense your energy. But with your realm, as you seemed to explain, everything is more...hostile." He continued forward through the trees. "If we get to the clearing in time, we can move high enough to see the turtle bus going past. He's one of the oldest dreams here!" Enasi didn't know why he wanted to show Seishu the large creature. It just felt nice to show someone that had never seen it before. That, and Seishu wanted to know what the realm looked like past the four walls he was stuck in. Why not give him a brief tour? He wouldn't go too far from the kingdom, so Crios couldn't get too upset.

Starring back at the snake Seishu has a short lived posturing contest, the snake of course edging back first, but not at all retreating. 'That's right, you just let me be. I don't need to attacking me when Enasi and I move closer together' He shrugs slightly, stretching out his taunt shoulders, his breath hitching from the strain on his wound. Looking back to his counterpart he smiles to think of what he's going to have to do to get the flora in his world to at the very least stop trying to kill Enasi. None are actually strong enough, he doesn't think, but many of them could at least leave a good scar or incapacitate him. The trees continue to rustle gently, even after relaxing, it simply their nature to warn against such negativity, but as Enasi practically calls him harmless Seishu can not help but pout a little.

His pout is slow in leaving, even when Enasi grabs his hands and leads him on, the new foliage they pass starting right back up with worry. It calms however, and Seishu can only assume that Enasi's presence, holding his hand willingly, is enough for now to keep them from overreacting. He blinks. 'Turtle bus? Is that like our serpent rail?' As they come to the clearing Seishu's grip tightens, the ground beneath them rumbling ever so slightly in an unmistakeably foot steppy fashion. His wings are back behind mostly, the claws hooked on either shoulder so that the thick flesh sits like a cloak over his shoulders and down his back. His teeth involuntarily flash as the beast comes into view, the Nightmare Guardian releasing Enasi's hand so he can instead hold his waist from behind.

As his hands settle on the red head's hips on opposing sides the great creature looks down at the two humanoids and Seishu's wings rustle gently. Such a strong, unfettered concentration of positive energy causes his breathing to become labored, the pain of the energy lacing across his wounds pulling a whine from him and his head falls to settle against Enasi's shoulder. He had been cooping well with the general level of positive energy of the world itself, just feeling a bit queezy, but the sheer power behind such a large dream is enough to make the injured guardian feel very weak, on no small amount of ill. His breath starts coming in short little gasps, and for a moment he considers bringing up his negative energy, to try and balance it all out, however the warm body in his arms reminds him of how much he doesn't want to hurt the man right now, and bringing up his energy as high as he would need it to at least ease his pain would not only make Enasi sick, but it would hurt all dreams for over a mile. If he was well, he would be able to stand the positive energy better, but the wounds are like chinks in his armor, letting the positive energy penetrate him like spears of solid iron.

The rumbles only make Enasi smile. Towards such a force of positive energy even the trees calmed for a moment. The turtle bus was practically the oldest and wisest creature in his realm. Not only that, but riding atop him to get around the realm was quite relaxing, if not fun. He never rode inside the bus like the passengers though. Normally he would sit on the turtle's head, giving him a front row seat to view his realm. The large creature casted his gaze downward, spring the two Guardians almost instantly. Enasi gave a wide grin and waved, getting a slow nod in return before the turtle had to continue his trip. The turtle didn't make a big deal when he noticed Seishu. He could already sense the weakened state of the guardian, and knew of Balance all too well.

Seishu's whines had caught his attention, and Enasi frowned a little. He realized how inconsiderate he was being. The nightmare guardian was still injured and putting up with so much positive energy. He got a little worried as he heard the pained gasps. "I'm being very rude, my apologies." He took Seishu's hand once again and took him back towards the castle. "You're still injured and I'm making you put up with so much. This isn't helping you heal." He quickly pulled Seishu along, his wings appearing again. "Come on, I'll take you back to the castle. I'm sure, everyone is wondering where we went off to." As they neared where they started, Enasi looked at Seishu. "Do you think you can fly just long enough to get back? Or do you want to walk the rest of the way?" He was sure if they were to walk, Harper would get impatient enough to search for him. And that never took long for Harper. It was like Enasi had a tracking device on him when it came to Harper.

The guardian was sure Harper could carry Seishu back if need be. It wasn't too much of a problem. He slowed down and waited for an answer from his counterpart.

"They've been gone for some time." Inui said as they walked to the castle. Rasha had been watching the two minions play around together. They were always sitting up under Seishu so Rasha thought it was a good idea to let them stretch their legs for some time. In their playing, the two managed to fall in mud.

"I think you two should worry about looking presentable for the guardians. You guys are a mess. I'm sure the staff won't appreciate having to clean up a mud trail." Rasha walked along side the two in human form taking them to a bathhouse. Rue giggled and flew next to them.

"We didn't mean to- well, I didn't mean to. How was I suppose to know there was a mud puddle at the end of the hill?" He smiled innocently. Rasha sighed and shook his head, wondering how he became a babysitter all of a sudden.

Seishu wants simultaneously to berate Enasi for doing something so stupid, and comfort the guardian, letting him know he appreciate the sentiment. The pain running through his body as Enasi leads him away however keeps his lips pressed together, keeping him from upchucking his breakfast. 'Not nearly as tasty on the way out as on the way in, I'm sure' His footsteps are uneven and try as he might he can't seem to keep from stumbling every now and then, having to grab Enasi for support. His anger overrides his understanding and in a very harsh voice he snaps out after his fifth or sixth little stumble, “No shit jackass. Perfect idea, kill me via mass transportation, in a whole new and exciting way too!” He grinds his teeth, knowing the better of it, understanding that at this point he's being an ass, but it has been a while since he's felt this level of pain, and his controls are all but evaporated.

His temper builds with every step, and he knows he's not going to make it back to the castle without at least pitching a little fit. Not wanting to harm anyone, nor wanting to force Enasi to do something to stop him, Seishu drops his counterpart's hand and steps back. With a harsh growl, unable to articulate what he wants, Seishu opens a portal with a harsh crack and falls back through it. The portal stays open for only an instant after Seishu vanishes, closing with another harsh crack, leaving behind the stench of negative energy.

Crios pats the arm of his last patient for the morning, the only ones left int the ward those who need to be there. The she-bear drops on to all fours and lumbers away happily. 'Now, I should go check on Night. He's no doubt done with his morning exercise, and in need of some. . .' His body tenses, a couch finding it's way out like a man choking on smoke. Recognizing the signature of the negative energy building just outside the ward Crios calls to his doctors on duty, and has them raise their energy as high as they can, forming a shield between the energy outside the door, and the patients. 'What in all the grace is he thinking!?' he fumes silently. Then, with a loud crack, the energy falls once more to the normal levels he's use to around the guardian, and after giving his doctors instructions to look after the now quite flustered patients, eh makes his way out into the hall.

He is greeted by a sight that stops him cold. Seishu is leaned against the opposite wall, the only thing keeping him on his feet seems to be his anger. And such rage, Crios has not seen it since the guardian first arrived. Sure, he's been cruel, upset, and even pissed on occasion, but this is different. Crios finds it hard to move, however as Seishu seems to simply stand there, waiting, one hand clutching his injured shoulder while the other settles across his wounded middle, Crios manages to force himself forward. Pulling a syringe from his sleeve, one he's kept there since he began treating the guardian exclusively. Seishu snaps and growls, but the fox doctor manages to get in close, sinking the needle into his am and pushing the plunger before his own tense muscles force him to retreat. Just like that, Seishu drops like a rock, unconscious.

Rasha and Rue watch as Inui freezes, his eyes going wide. He stands slowly in the bath water, his head snapping around to face the castle, out of sight behind the bath house walls. Without explanation he jumps out of the bath, not bothering to get dressed, instead just raising an illusion of being clothed around himself as he runs tops speed for the palace. Rue and Rasha are hot on his heels, stopping only long enough for Rue to pull on his pants, scooping up Rasha's, Inui's, and the rest of his own clothes before taking off. Rasha transforms, doing an amazing flying leap to land on the fairy back, knowing the winged one is a lot faster than he. 'Wow, Inui in a hurry is pretty damn fast! I wonder. . .' His stomach drops, he can feel negative energy still half a mile from the palace. The little cat thing docks lower on Rue's back, sinking claws into the fabric to keep from getting thrown off as Rue darts low, flying at Inui's side.

Enasi was forced to a stop when Seishu yanked away from him. Before he could say anything, Seishu began growling at him. There wasn't much he could say. Enasi figured if he said anything he would only make things worse. But when Seishu opened the portal Enasi stepped forward. "What are you- Where are you going?" He gave a small pout when he got no answer. Instead, Seishu disappeared. He crossed his arms and sighed. Seishu was very irrational. . . How was he supposed to handle that kind of behavior? How were they even compatible? Enasi looked around, cleaning up the remains of negative energy. "I was only trying to help. . ." He rubbed his arm and turned to walk out the forest.

Before he could pull his wings out, the snake once again appeared and slithered around him, sensing the guardian's dismay. "I'm fine, I'm fine. He's probably just irritated and ready to go home. The energy is getting to him." Enasi patted the snake and sighed. "I guess. . . I guess it would be for the better when he leaves. It'll help us both." He looked over as the snake hissed gently. "Yeah I know, I'm going to go. He probably just went back to the castle." He moved from the snake's hug and flew off to the castle with haste.

Harper had left the patrol squad since they were finished and had decided to walk to the castle. His eyes narrowed at the wave of negative energy that increased. If he wasn't mistaken, it was way too close to the medical wing. The only creature with negative energy was Seishu, but he was with- The sound of wings made him look. 'Enasi without Seishu. . .' He picked up speed, hurrying to the source just in case Seishu may have needed to be detained. The closer he got, the energy came down to a minimum. He stopped to see Finn and Starla hauling Seishu off to his room, with Crios on their tails. "What happened here? Is everyone alright."

Starla and Finn looked up and at the same time gave a thumbs up. "Fine,"

"And dandy." Starla huffed and then moved as Harper took over helping Finn. "Crios contained him. And we got here as fast as we could." She continued and Finn nodded his agreement.

- - - - -

Enasi landed, but before he ran to see if Seishu was okay he decided to give the Nightmare Guardian his space and check on his own first. 'They are more important. . . I can't spend every moment with him. . .' He told himself, trying to push the Guardian away. He couldn't be so attached to Seishu- emotionally that is. There wasn't much he could do about their actual connection. But, in every other way, it would only make things worse. He tried denying it already and that didn't get him very far. In fact, it got them a lot of mixed emotions and potential harm to his minions.

Despite how upset he is with the guardian, Harper is careful with the man, setting him on the bed gently, helping Finn shift him around so he laying properly. 'I have no idea what just happened, but I don't think anyone's hurt. . . Well, maybe Night is, but at this point, if he's hurt, he most likely deserves it' Huffing he orders Finn and Starla to check on the medical wing before settling against a pillar near the bed, looking over at Crios expectantly. Crios however is ignoring Harper, making sure the dose he gave Seishu isn't having any adverse effects. Somewhere in the back of his mind is a well of regret over sending the guardian into that nothingness, however the more rational pat of his mind pushes that thought back, reasoning that Seishu came to him knowing how the foxy doctor would handle the situation.

'After all, he could have come to his room and I would have been here in two shakes, but he wanted something immediate and quick, and I would have just given him pain killer if I found him in here. What in the world happened! I know they left the palace a while back, their energies unmistakable, but. . .' He lets out a sigh, his hands running over the unconscious form, probing as carefully as he can manage in his hast. His hands hover over the wounds, feeling the pain radiating off of them, and with a sigh he pulls another syringe and doses him, cursing himself aloud. “I knew I should have dosed him this morning, I was so stupid! He was doing so well, and he was heading out to his own world tomorrow. I didn't want him to get addicted, but for pity's sake, I should know better! The safety of the realm comes first! I. . .”

The rational behind what he just said sinks in and he falls silent, continuing his work. 'What is good for Seishu, is by default, good for this realm. Yeah, I should not have skipped his dose today, but my heart was in the right place. . .' He begins humming softly to calm his nerves.

Across the room Harper stays silent, a part of him wanting to lay into the fox for being so stupid, but he remains silent, knowing his anger is better directed elsewhere. 'Not only that, I can tell a good portion of this anger is building from being close to Seishu. His negative energy in leaking, and here inside the shield I have no protection from it' He eyes Crios once more. 'I am sure much the same is happening to fire boy over there. I wonder what negativity is building in him. . .'

~*~*~*~*~

As the team of little ones charge through the castle the staff leap out of the way. Already on edge from the sudden surge earlier several cry out in fright. Inui pays them no mind, his only thoughts on Seishu, while Rue does his best to apologize for both of them without falling too far behind the worried nightmare minion. 'What would cause Mister Seishu to let it out like that? We could feel it so far away, and it suddenly dropped. Oh, I pray nothing happened to him!' Rue glances back at Rasha, ignoring the occasional scratch from those sharp claws but unable to completely ignore the small sounds of worry from the cat beast. Rasha's face is scrunched against the breeze the fairy's wings make, however his concern shines out clear from the violet eyes.

Rue tries to give him a comforting smile before looking back to Inui, but he is not sure he succeeded. As they reach the hall Rasha notices the door is closed and before the near frantic nightmare minion can charge right in the small beast launches off of Rue and lands full size in from of the portal. Inui's eyes flash and for a moment the trickster is sure he's about t get thrown out of the way, however Rue slams carefully into him from behind and hugs him tight. The act seems to calm him down and he looks up at Rasha with wide, pleading, questioning eyes. “We're not sure if it would be better or worse for My Lord Seishu if we were to go in. We should wait to hear from Crios before we enter.” Sniffing lightly he nods. “He's in there now, with Harper. They know we're here, and I'm sure they won't make us wait long.” Reaching out he pats the tousled, still damp black hair of the little minion, motioning to the clothes in Rue's arms.

~Well this is just brilliant.

A nice day, wasted, because I didn't stop to think for a second and knock some sense into Enasi!

Well, maybe I should have told him how the positive energy can dig right in through my wounds. . .

But wasn't that obvious?!

This sucks. . .

Seishu sits alone in the nothingness, trying desperately to keep talking to himself as a distraction until he wakes up.~

Finn and Starla salute the two before hurrying off to check on the medical wing. "I hope they'll be okay. . . I wonder where Lord Enasi went." The 'they' he was speaking of was Mister Seishu and Crios. The fox doctor seemed to be on edge and Seishu was knocked unconscious. Normally, those types of things only happened as a last resort. And normally, Lord Enasi would be worrying sick about everyone's health, more than likely because they were the ones willing to be so close to Seishu. But he wasn't around. He wasn't at the door or at least waiting nearby and he couldn't sense him in his room as they passed.

Starla patted her brother on the back. "Just relax. Everything will be sorted out almost instantly." She nodded matter of factly and then pushed the doors of the medical wing open. Starla was a little surprised to see Enasi sitting in the center, while some patients sat on their beds watching their guardian as he told stories. Everyone in the medical wing looked the same. No one had been affected by the negative energy. "See? Perfectly fine." She smiled at Finn and he walked up to Enasi.

"Pardon me sir, but there's a...um, guardian emergency." Finn was just making sure Enasi knew and he wasn't just purposely skipping out. But to his surprise, that was exactly what he was doing.

"I know, but I'm not going in there. They don't need me. . . And Crios has already contained Seishu. So, it's. . .fine." Of course he didn't share his own personal reasons as to why he didn't want to take that trip down there, but Finn noticed a hidden something in his voice. "And Crios must have sent you to check on the wing. They are all fine. I started telling them a story! So, run along and go tell him."

"Yes- yes sir."

"That was weird. . ." Starla whispered to Finn as he returned and they both hurried back to the room to report to Crios.

"That's what I was thinking..."

- - -- - -

Rasha's ears perked up when he heard the sound of the siblings approach. He was going to ask one of them if everything was alright, but the concerned look in Finn's eyes made him quiet down and stand by the two. Starla waited at the door while Finn let himself in the door. She sighed and looked at the three. "Maybe food will ease this a little?"

- - - -

"Status report."

Harper nodded and gestured for him to speak. Finn nodded and looked at both of them. "Well, the medical wing is fine. In fact Lord Enasi is in there entertaining the patients." Crios sighed, thankful that that was one less thing to worry about. "But, I told him about the situation. . . And he refuses to come down to check on the guardian. When I spoke of it, something seemed to be bothering him, but I could have just been overreacting with everything that's been going on."

Rue bounces up and down on the balls of his feet, glancing over at the immobile Inui. 'He's not gonna move from here willingly, so. . .Well, food is normally good to calm down, and I'm sure Cho would like to know what's going on, after all he's part of the group now. He may not be around a lot, but I can tell he cares what happens' Looking up at Rasha with wide eyes the little fairy tries to communicate his agreement with Starla, adding a glance to Inui before shifting closer to the stressed nightmare minion. Rasha blinks, a little confused, but after a few seconds he seems to get the idea.

Looking over at Inui he sighs softly, ruffling his hair with one hand before turning to nod at Starla. “Yeah, let's go tell Cho what's up. A full belly may do a lot of good around here. . .” The plant sibling looks up at the trickster, her usual caution around the beast flaring for a moment, however after a good hard look she huffs, glancing at the door to Seishu's room before leading the way towards the palace kitchen. Meanwhile Rue stays at Inui's side, his level of upset a little too high for hugs, so he contents himself with standing just close enough for their arms to touch gently.

~*~*~*~*~

Crios and Harper look to one another, the report sending up many red flags, and ones that need to be addressed immediately. They look to one another before Harper dismisses Finn with a wave. The youth looks between them for a second, confused, however he trusts the older males and with only a moment's hesitation, he leaves.

~*~*~*~*~

Not spotting his sister right away, and the notable absence of the little trickster makes his already frayed nerves jump a little. However Rue explains quickly where they have gone. Glancing at the disturbed little nightmare minion Finn lets out a sigh before thanking Rue and heading off after his sister and Rasha. 'We may be part of the group, but somehow, I do not feel we are needed right now. We should do what we can to help, and in this moment, being there is not one of them' He sighs again, coming swiftly around a corner to spot his targets half way down the hall.

~*~*~*~*~

As the door closes and Finn's footfalls fade the two one more look to one another and it is Crios that breaks the silence. “We can't leave him alone here.”

“I know, the two little ones are outside the door.” Harper replies, looking towards thee light outlined carved wood. He adds, “However, I think Rue should. . .”

“I agree.” Crios knows what Harper is talking about, for the first time in a long time the both of them very much on the same page. There is no playful banter, there is no hint of humor in their words. The effect of Seishu's leak is enough to make both have to work hard to simply remain somber rather than spiraling downwards where their hearts are trying to lead. With one last check of his patient Crios comes around the bed and heads for the door. As he pulls even with the giant rabbit, Harper turns and falls in step at his side. Slipping out into the hall the doctor gives the two little minions a soft smile. They both clamber forward, Inui coming out of his funk at the sight of the foxy doctor.

Just as Rue opens his mouth to start asking questions Crios imitates what he's seen Seishu do, holding up his hand gently to stem the flow of words from the little fairy. In a soft voice he says, “He is sleeping peacefully, no real damage done, he just got a little over loaded and lost his primal temper as I call it. However he'll be more relaxed now when he wakes, which shouldn't be too long since I gave him the counter drug.” Crouching down so that his tail it touching the floor slightly he shifts forward so he can take Inui's hands in his own. The little minion's stress seems to evaporate and tears spring up into those scarlet orbs. “I have a job for you. I need you to go in there and sit with him. It's safe, so you can even snuggle like I know you like to, and if he wakes up before we get back, which he might, I need you to do your best to insist he stay put. I have the feeling that he may want to get up. . .”

Harper is a little amazed at the sudden soft and caring tone in the doctor's voice, however as he watches he realizes that it must be his way with dealing with little ones. 'He is a doctor after all, which means he has to treat children's injuries now and again. That would take a softer hand than how he deals with Night, however. . .He's never treated Rue like this. . . But then again Rue can bounce back easily' Harper recalls that on the report from one of the trips into the human realm how one of the minion's had confessed that a nightmare minion's negative emotions run rampant can destroy the being. 'They naturally have so much negative energy, and Inui hasn't had the training to keep them in check'

Inui nods slowly, glancing over at Rue. Harper decides to speak up on that. “We need Rue with us Inui. He's going to help us on something important.” Rue looks up curiously, but rather than questioning the general he turns and gives Inui a big hug, placing a little peck on the taller male's cheek.

Inui flushes just as he use to, letting Harper and Crios know that he's recovering. “It's okay Inui, we'll be back, and everything will be alright!” His usual cheerful tone makes the red eyed male relax and with a little bow he vanishes off into the shielded room. As soon as the other is out of sight however Rue's face becomes serious. “What do you need from me?”

Crios sighs softly, standing up. Motioning that they should walk as they talk he sets off, his words low when at last he begins speaking. “Seishu showed up out of nowhere, practically begging me to knock him out. The pain he was in was probably accidental, and he couldn't deal with it alone. I am sure Lord Enasi thinks he had something to do with it, and maybe even feels guilty, so we need to talk to him. . .”

Harper realizes that Crios is unable to say the rest aloud, so he adds, “Finn just went to talk to Lord Enasi, and he refused to come check on Seishu. . .” The little minion looks very confused, and a little hurt at the news, however he remains silent, falling deep into thought on the little tidbits of information he just received.

They are all quiet as they approach the medical wing central, and as they come close Harper takes Rue's arm and the two of them wait outside. Crios enters alone, their lord still telling his story. Crios steels himself for what he's about to do and just as eyes begin turning his way he smiles at the room softly, taking long strides to his guardian's side. Without a word he slips a hand around Enasi's upper am and carefully brings him to his feet. There are many objections from the patients, wanting to hear more, however one look from the stern doctor and they all falls silent. Ignoring any objection that may come from Enasi he carefully walks the red head out into the hall and without a word, Harper steps to the guardian’s other side, only lending a hand if needed.

Once they are a goodly distance from any of the palace staff Crios lets Enasi go and both he and Harper go to stand by Rue, one to either side. The two of them look calm, unruffled despite their current taint of negative energy, and with a calm tone Harper says softly. “Lord Enasi? Tell Rue why you refused to see Seishu.” The little fairy's eyes seem to light a little, coming to rest on the guardian more firmly as he awaits his answer, and knowing he needs to stay strong, not taking the surface answer.

~*~*~*~*~

Inui slips into the room. Darker than the hallway his eyes take a moment to adjust. Once he is sure not to bump into anything he races across the room, stopping just short of the bed. His finger splay softly over the covers, looking down at his guardian with feelings flitting through his chest he didn't even know he could feel. The pull and ache and throb is enough to once more bring tears to his eyes, however after a few calming breaths he manages to stay calm. Mounting the bed slowly he creeps over to his side of the sleeping guardian and without a sound settle in right against his pale arm resting atop the blankets.

Starla started to lead the way, but Rasha huffed at the too slow pace and soon enough he was in animal form and practically sprinted towards the kitchen. Starla rolled her eyes but quickened her pace, knowing the urgency. And, the faster they spoke to Cho the faster she could get back- along with going to check on her nervous brother. She could practically feel the worry emanating off him despite being so far away. She hoped the negative energy hadn't messed with him too bad. Their garden would not settle if that happened. The thought made her pause for a moment, but she quickly hurried after Rasha.

As they stepped towards the door that lead inside the kitchen, Rasha turned back into his human form.

"Night's been all riled up
I wonder why~
But no time to waste, sitting and wondering
I'm sure a little food will ease their troubles."

Cho was moving back and forth in the kitchen, already one step ahead of the two that head just arrived. He had sensed the sudden negative energy, and it was making his food taste bad. It needed to be fixed immediately! "Silly guardian. If you wanted food, you don't go making everyone else's taste bad. A simple please would have sufficed." He chuckled and looked toward the door as it opened slightly. "Ah, good you're here. Tell me what's wrong while I finish making food."

Starla leaned against the door while Rasha explained the current issue. "Lord Seishu slipped again and had to be contained. I believe Crios had accomplished that for the most part. We came to give you the news and-"

"And food! Because everyone needs it." He kept the cheery attitude to keep from falling suit into that worried fit everyone seemed to be getting in to.

Starla stood straight when she noticed Finn hurrying to her. "Are you okay? Is everything alright?" Being around Starla calmed a little more, and he nodded.

"Everything is fine." She patted his back and nodded, waiting for Rasha and Cho.

"And then, after they moved the boulder-" The lingering dull pulse of negative energy appeared and Enasi paused to see Crios. It was obvious he had been around Seishu for a little too long. But, he only turns to continue. "So, after they finally move the boulder and managed to get into the cave-" He looked up at the doctor when he was pulled upwards. By the look on his face, obviously it was urgent, so he sighed. "I'll tell you all the rest of the story later don't worry." He followed him quietly and raised an eyebrow when he saw Harper and Rue. It looked as if he was being put into some kind of intervention.

That, or both males were planning on grabbing him or something. . . He shrugged the thought away and looked at the small group as they stared him down. "Yes?" His arms crossed when he was asked to speak, and for a moment, he even glanced away. "It wasn't a refusal to see Seishu. I do have an entire realm to run. My minions come before a Nightmare. Balance or not, I still have a job to do." Harper and Crios looked at each other, but stayed silent. Eventually, Lord Enasi would just tell them or Rue would do say something. Being stared at made him huff a little. "I can't be around Seishu every minute of every hour. I do have responsibilities. . ."

Rue stayed quiet. He tried to keep a straight face while Lord Enasi spoke, but even he looked a little surprised when Enasi called Seishu "a Nightmare". He never called him just some Nightmare. . . The fairy looked up at him with expectant eyes and Enasi looked right back. "I can assure you, I'm fine Rue." The guardian didn't understand why the two told him to talk to Rue, as if it would make things any different from talking to them. It wasn't like he was lying. He was the Dream Guardian after all. He DID have responsibilities he had to take care of. Enasi just. . .didn't see the need in telling them exactly all the reasons why he thought it was best to stay away from Seishu.

"Now, if you don't mind, I want to finish telling the patients the story. I was at the end."

- - - - - - - - - - -

"If you keep worrying like that, you're going to get grays and the plants will wilt. Relax. Just like all the other times, it will be fixed. Besides, it wasn't as bad as last time." Starla spoke gently. She recalled 'last time' being when both guardians were angry and their energies clashed. Despite such a traumatic experience, somehow it got resolved. This could've just been them overreacting about it, and worrying too much.

Finn leaned against the wall and sighed. "I suppose you're right. . ." He nodded and watched as Cho went left and right with a bit of help from his staff in order to put food together for the group.

The little fairy can feel tears welling up behind his eyes. Despite all his thoughts on being strong, a part of him knows that his sadness is well places. The two taller males look to one another, then back at Enasi, settling at last on Rue. Without a word they both move off in opposite directions, far enough away to give them some privacy, but close enough to let Enasi know that they feel this talk is important. Rue begins understanding why they brought him with, why, despite their closeness to Enasi, they wanted the little minion to speak with Seishu's counterpart. 'Inui and Rasha are too close to Mister Seishu, Crios and Harper are too close Lord Enasi. I am the closest to the middle of all this. . .'

Taking a deep breath he keeps his tears in check as he begins speaking. Looking up at his guardian his eyes seem to sparkle. “You're not fine Lord Enasi. You're not, and it's obvious. Even if you think you're okay, you should trust those closest to you to be able to tell when you're not.” His wings twitch slightly but the fairy remains firmly on the ground as he speaks. “You went out together, and you were happy. I know you would never do anything to hurt Mister Seishu, but he got hurt anyways. A few mistakes were made today, but that doesn't mean anything. All that matters is what we do to make it better.” He takes another steadying breath, but does not pause long enough for Enasi to get a word in edgewise.

“I love Mister Seishu, like Inui, and Rasha, but you are the special person. If Crios was sick, he would be crushed if Cho didn't are enough to at least go check on him. Mister Seishu may not be awake right now, but you two care about each other, and I know he'd know that you stayed away. He's perceptive like that. I can't imagine how much that will hurt him.” A single tear finds it's way down his cheek. “He's all alone right now, in that place, that horrible place that makes even tough Mister Seishu shudder. He hates it there, but he got put there because of whatever happened out there. He got put there because of a mistake.” He hang his head, a few tears falling to hit the stone beneath their feet. “I understand Mister Seishu, almost as well as his own second, and maybe even better than you, and I know how sad he would be to know you decided to say away from him. And. . . .” He looks up. “Lord Enasi is not a cruel person, and he knows how much it will hurt Mister Seishu too. So. . . .Why would Lord Enasi decide to hurt Mister Seishu?” He finally pauses, unsure if he put his words correctly, but hoping beyond hope he did.

At either end of the hallway the two older males listen carefully to the little minion's words, Harper approving of the points Rue is making, and Crios grateful at the tact the boy is showing. They do not want their guardian to be hurt, but if there is any point that the Nightmare Guardian has ever been right on, it's that their guardian hides too many of his troubles, and needs to stop, not only for his sake, but for the sake of the realm.

Two of them walked off. They didn't go too far, but they left. He was left with Rue, who looked ready to cry at any moment. The guardian couldn't look at him, especially knowing that his words were the reason he ended up like that. The guardian really hated upsetting his minions, but it seemed now even when he didn't try, he ended up hurting them. The life of a guardian was. . .just so complex. But, he was stuck with it and could only do his job, or at least try to. It was so much more simple when Seishu wasn't around. The first thing Rue said confirmed such. There was nothing for his minions to ever worry about, besides other minions who had gotten hurt. They didn't think to have a need to worry about their guardian, except for in battle situations. Now, it seemed as if all they did was worry. If it wasn't for Seishu telling them all that information, things would have been somewhat the same.

He didn't respond to Rue's first statement, but then again he never had the opportunity to so he let him continue. 'Mistakes matter a lot Rue. . . Mistakes can cause horrible, horrible outcomes if not attended to. He didn't correct the small minion, mainly because he was still speaking. So far, the guilt trip was working. Even if it wasn't meant to make him feel guilty, it did. If it was supposed to, then that definitely worked. Seishu being unconscious must have been like returning to a hell he had forgotten about. For awhile, the two didn't have to go through such a dreadful place. But now, it was forced on him. The guardian sighed, not having said a word since he started.

His arms had crossed once more and he turned to see Rue crying. His question made him look off to where the other two had walked off. "Even if he's hurt by me not showing up, there are far worse ways that he could be hurt. Us being...happy together, is only temporary. It will only hurt worse when he leaves for his realm knowing things will probably go back to the way they were. He's been drugged most of the time he has been here and forced to keep his energy down. This realm makes him sick. If I didn't have my energy down most of the time, I'd probably make him sick. And the same for me. Us being together benefits no one. Balance doesn't want us together. As parallel as we may be, neither of us can simply 'meet'."
His voice didn't hold much emotion to it. It was simply a 'matter of fact' tone. He wasn't upset with Rue, nor was he quite happy about being confronted, but for once it didn't show. Enasi simply sighed and ran fingers through his red hair. "I'll go. . . Although as I've told Finn, there is not much I can do. Crios is very capable of handling it, and Seishu doesn't like to be babied." He patted Rue's head gently, before walking past him away from the medical wing. Crios and Harper were that way and Rue hesitated to follow the guardian. But, he knew it wouldn't benefit him if he walked alone so he hurried to Enasi's side and slipped his hand in his. The guardian gave a gentle smile and walked with him to Seishu's room.

Hearing the two walk off, he nodded to Crios. They both had heard what he said, finally learning one of- probably many things their guardian bottled inside. Even Harper was still a little surprised at how selfless he was. Despite his own issues, he always put the entire realm first. He managed to fool them all into thinking everything was alright. Then again, everything was alright. Enasi just fooled them into believing that he was alright. And an entire realm, besides Night's little gang still had no clue. It made him feel a bit guilty as a second in command. He was suppose to know everything in order to help his guardian. But there was so much hidden away, and he was now curious if there was more stuff Enasi hid from them in want for them to remain happy.

As they walk Rue's mind wanders over the conversation, how Enasi's voice sounded, and the look in his eyes. He's never seen his guardian like that before, and even now. . . .The little fairy's eyes slide up to look at the man at his side. 'There's something missing there. Lord Enasi really doesn't want to go, and making him isn't. . .It isn't right. . .Yeah, they may hurt, when they have to go apart, but that doesn't mean. . .But, he would be so happy, he is so happy when, but now it's like, I. . . .' A small hiccuping sob finds it's way out of his throat and without warning he comes to a stop. He keeps a strong hold on Enasi's hand, forcing him to stop. Without a word he looks up at his guardian, his eyes surprisingly dry. His expression is quite unreadable and after a long moment he lets Enasi's hand go and turns. With his back to his guardian Rue can not even find the strength to lift off the ground as he moves off down a random hallway, no real destination in mind. He wants to talk to Seishu, to settle some of the conflict in his heart, however at this moment all he can feel and understand is how sorry he is for the guardians he loves.

Suddenly from behind Enasi Harper's calm voice rings out. “Seems like he couldn't go through with it. . .” Once Enasi turns to look at the general he answers the silent question. “He couldn't force you to go see Night, knowing how much you don't want to.” He sighs softly, much like Rue not giving the guardian a chance to respond before going on. He too finds it hard act against his nature, however he loves his guardian, and sees this as the best way to help him now. “You don't want to see him, and forcing you to do so will do not good. We were hoping that you would open up to Rue, seeing as he is the best in the palace to represent the Nightmare Guardian's feelings, however you seem to adeptly gone back to your old bad habit of bottling things up, not letting us in, not letting us help you. You may have given us a reason, but you know Night would call that, and pardon my strong language, bullshit.” Sighing again Harper does not stay to listen to the red head's replay. Instead he calls over his shoulder as he walks away. “We still love you, more than anything, but if you won't let us help you, what are we suppose to do? Lord Enasi. . . . .”

~*~*~*~*~

Inui snuggles in closer to his guardian, the pale figure shuddering in his sleep. There is a faint whine in the back of the little minion’s throat as he watches the expression on Seishu's face become upset, almost angry. However after a few seconds he seems to settle down, and with a shuddering sigh Inui rests his head back on Seishu's chest, holding tight to the unconscious man.

~*~*~*~*~

~His old inspiration to try and rip through the nothing, to destroy it, to change something, anything, returns to the Nightmare Guardian with a vengeance. He roars silently, trying with all his might to affect something, to do anything. However, like all times before, he soon drops with a silent huff. Well, his mind tells him that's what he did. He has no body with which to do these thing, no reference of texture. However, despite giving up on the world around him, something else seems to be happening, but inside Seishu himself. He does not know the feeling, or understand it, but with a sigh he takes it as a welcome distraction, wrapping himself around it and holding it close. Something about it makes him think of Enasi, but what these days doesn't make him think of that red haired dope?~

"Hm? What's wrong? Why'd you-" But, Rue was running off in another direction. "Rue? What's. . . What's wrong?" He whispered to himself. He agreed to go visit the guardian, shouldn't he be happy that he did? Apparently, Enasi had done something wrong, this time he wasn't told what exactly. The redhead was left on his own in the hallway- until Harper came out of nowhere and nearly made the Dream Guardian jump out of his skin. He turned around and sighed. Now what was he going on about? As Harper spoke, it seemed like Enasi's own little world was crumbling. He tried so hard, so desperately hard to keep everyone at peace. He tried so hard to keep everyone happy, but now it was doing nothing more than harming them all. And. . . It hurt.

He watched Harper walk off, declaring that they all still loved him, but they weren't sure what to do with him- or how to help. But. . .he wasn't even sure. . . They weren't suppose to help. They were suppose to do their jobs and worry about themselves. He was the last thing they needed to worry about. And here they all were doing just that. Harper didn't even give him a chance to reply. Once more, Enasi was stuck alone in the hall. He looked left and then right as if to be sure that both had really left him alone.

"How am I suppose to know how you can help. . . When I don't even know what to do. . ."

Enasi groaned and pulled his hair. What did they mean? Why was everything so complicated? This was suppose to be just a simple help Seishu heal enough to get back on his feet plan. It had become so much more than what it started. "I'm going to clear my head." He spoke to no one in particular, and walked down the hall, turning and going through to the nearest exit. He wanted to be alone for awhile. He needed time to think. Did he tell anyone where he was going? No, because they didn't need him at the moment. He wasn't very helpful at the moment either.

Upon going outside, his fluffy white wings sprouted from his back and he stretched them. Once more he looked around, seeing no one in sight. So, he took off. He flew away from the castle and the town and then past the forest. In twenty minutes or so he came to a large clearing with high grass, much like the grass that sprouted in the one particular time in Their World. Except the grass one a fresh green color and there were sprouts of color indicating that flowers were dotted around. Other than this, it was empty. Well, it was empty for now. Sooner or later, the large turtle bus would be taking a break and he'd be there to sit with the guardian. At first, he was going to go to the forest or even the garden, but that was too close. And too obvious.

His wings closed before he landed, so he ended up landing roughly and tumbling onto his back. With a grunt and then a sigh, he laid hidden in the grass and stared up at the cloudy sky. "This is suppose to be easy... Opening up to people. I help others do it all the time! Why is it so hard for me...?"

- - - - - -

Rue continued hurrying off, occasionally stumbling thanks to his teary vision, along with his clumsiness on his feet. But he kept moving until he made it to Seishu's room. He hadn't stopped crying, but he managed to wipe his face and reduce to only quiet sniffles. "He hasn't woken up yet?" He knew it would have been bad to wake him, but Seishu was all alone and there was nothing they could do.

Inui saw his tears and hurried over to him, careful not to disturb Seishu. He hugged the shorter male. "What's wrong?" Rue stayed silent for awhile, just hugging him.

"He doesn't. . . He doesn't want to come see Mister Seishu. I couldn't force him too, that would be wrong. I don't know what to do. I don't know how to help either of them now."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"Alright. It's all done. Took a minute, but it had to be perfect." Cho took his chef's hat off once the trays were set on his cart. "Rasha, Starla, Finn, chop chop. Let's start serving them. Can't have them waiting too long now can we?" He smiled and gestured for them to follow as he pushed the cart towards Seishu's room. "I have a feeling they are really going to need this. Something to settle them for some time. All of them just need to, sit and relax for awhile." Cho was speaking out loud to no one in particular. Rasha quietly listened, hoping that what the older monion said was true.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

While Enasi sat and waited, he realized he felt something. . . something that was unexplainable. Something that oddly reminded him of Seishu. Maybe it reminded him of his counterpart because of how odd and questionable it felt. Maybe it was because of how influential the sudden feeling had. It annoyed him for awhile and then sadden him. Eventually though, the odd feeling was. . . Comforting. He came to accept it and just sighed, staring at the clouds. . .and waiting.

Inui feels a little pang of his own at the announcement about Lord Enasi, however he is more concerned with the sobbing form in his arms at the moment. Lord Enasi is a guardian, and as of a few days ago, no longer his guardian. There isn't much, if anything, he could do with Enasi, however he can at the least help Rue stop feeling so crushed. Remembering many a mother comforting their child he wraps his arms tight around the fairy, rocking back and forth slightly while shushing him softly. Rue holds tighter, his tears soaking through the nightmare minion's shirt. He calms a a bit after a little while the climb up on the bed, both laying to one side of the unconscious guardian with Rue fully tucked against the taller male as he finishes his cry. Inui has no more ideas of what to do so he simply takes his comfort in the fact that Rue seems to be calming down, and Seishu seems to be no longer in pain.

~*~*~*~*~

Crios, who had stayed back from Harper as he'd addressed their guardian, walks silently side by side with the large rabbit being by what they feel they had to do, and even if they believe themselves right they can not shake the feeling that there is a piece missing from the puzzle. Something they can not do, a facet to being a guardian that they could never hope to understand. However, this being the case, they know there is only one other option in the matter, and neither of them, on the surface at least, want to admit it. However the feeling deep inside puts their feet on the right track and soon enough they meet up with Cho and the others on their way to the Nightmare Guaridan's guest room. Cho greets them both happily, but after responding with pair of vague smiles they both go back to contemplative silence.

Rasha whines softly, turning into his animal form and hopping up on to Harper's shoulder. The general rolls his eyes as Rasha cuddles his cheek, curling into a little ball for the rest of the trip. The silence of the older males keep Starla and Finn from bringing up their concerns, deciding without words to simply wait and watch. When they reach the room Rasha hops down and holds open the door like some sort of valet, resisting the urge to just crawl up on Seishu for comfort. The little ones look over at those entering, smiling softly back at Cho's bright grin. Rue does his best to wipe away his tears and sits up, accepting his plate as Cho bounds forward to hand out the meals. Crios goes to Seishu's side to check on his progress, and as soon as he's sure he is back on the right track he too accepts the proffered meal. They eat in silence as they wait, each feeling the shift and rise in the negative energy, as small as it is since it is not ruining the food, and know that he must wake soon.

Thump.

. . .

Thump.

Enasi sat up in the grass, still low enough not to be seen. The sounds of the slow thumping feet were louder as they got closer. But only after what seemed like four steps, the footsteps stopped. It was one of the main reasons TB was such good transportation. Despite the slow pace, it only took him a few steps to get from place to place. He was such a useful being and such a wise one at that. He watched as the large animal made his way to the center of the clearing before laying down in the soft grass. He got comfortable and then stared directly in Enasi's direction.

"What is the King of Dreams doing in my abode today? I haven't seen you in quite awhile. . .What is troubling you?"

Instead of having a large and boisterous voice, the turtle spoke telepathically. His voice was still deep, but it held the tone of wisdom. As if he himself had experienced the many wonders of the realms. Enasi didnt quite know how long the turtle bus was there, but he did know he was old. His head lowered to rest as he watched Enasi pop out of the grass slowly. TB had sensed the guardian's energy before he saw him, but that was because the large being could detect all sorts of energies. "What makes you think something is wrong? What if I came to say hello?"

"Hello your majesty. . . I can sense your troubled heart. It's difficult for many things to get past me. . ."

Enasi sighed and nodded, sitting on the ground in front of TB. "Well. . . I don't know how to start. Or where to start, so I guess I'd say. . . Everything has been spiraling down since I decided to let Seishu stay to help him heal. I don't know what to do. It used to be perfect-"

"Perfect. That word has slipped your tongue loosely. A perfect world would make everyone in this realm happy. Including yourself sir. That was never the case with you. . . You hid away as a way to escape your issues. . . Or more rather hid those issues away from everyone in order to hide truth. Quite frankly, you have quite a few strong minions here. . . They can handle it."

TB closed his eyes as if telling he was finished, but they stayed closed while he listened. It was quiet for a while and he opened them to make sure Enasi was okay. The guardian was sitting there, mulling over the turtle's words carefully. There was no reason for him to even explain himself. . .as he expected from the old know it all bus. When he finally managed to sigh, he looked at TB again. "How? How do. . . I don't know, I guess let them help? I worry about them. . . And would hate for them to get hurt because of something. . .foolish and manageable for me to accomplish in less time than they can."

~Well, this is odd.

Seishu curls further around the feeling, once more thinking of Enasi but this time far more strongly. The wondering does not last long as he suddenly feels the pull. Being alone he once again recalls the joy of the feeling, knowing that he is to be taken from the nothing. However even as he recollects the joy, he can not help but miss the sadness he's felt as of late from it. The longing to stay asleep is something he will miss greatly.~

~*~*~*~*~

Seishu wakes slowly to the smell of food, the presence at his side immediately making him recoil his energy, and audible sigh of relief from Rue making him smile softly. “Sorry about that Little Bite.” A fond giggle sounds out from his left and with a chuckle of his own he opens his eyes, looking the the direction of the mirth. Both Rue and Inui smile fondly at Seishu and after carefully setting their plates aside they crawl right on top of the wounded guardian. He can not help laughing aloud as soon they are joined by Rasha, a flying leap right into the middle of them and purring loudly. The siblings roll their eyes, smiling softly while Cho covers his mouth with his hand to hide his own giggles. The other two in the room refuse to be overtaken by their relief of seeing him recovered, standing silently and waiting.

“Yes, yes, I'm awake, and still in one piece, no thanks to a bit of over kindness and forgetfulness.” He ruffles Inui's hair, feeling the strain on his system as if it were his own. Giving the three one last hug he shuffles them back so he can sit up before letting them scoot in again. Looking to the two stoic members of the group he sighs, quickly summarizing what happened. The room listens silently, the pieces of the puzzle falling into place, and the reasoning behind Enasi's reaction rather clear now. Seishu does not bother looking around for Enasi, knowing he is nowhere nearby, and indeed feeling quite hurt at that. Even the siblings can see the pain in his gaze, however no one addresses it other than Rue wrapping his arms around the guardian's waist and hugging him tight.

The room is silent for a long moment, each lost in their own thoughts, until at last the silence is broken by a long sigh from Seishu. Shooing the little ones off his bed the guardian follows them off, standing on mostly steady feet. Looking to Crios he says softly, “Do you have any sedative left Doc?” The doctor looks confused but nods, moving slowly over to Seishu as he holds his hand out expectantly. Passing the syringe over silently Crios can feel everyone in the room tensing. Quite calmly and softly Seishu explains simple, “Enasi and I need to talk. I want you all to run interference while we do this, keep the rest of the dream denizens away from us.” The sudden orders catch them by surprise but as the Nightmare Guardian immediately follows them by heading for the door, they have no time to question them and instead fall in step behind him without a word.

~*~*~*~*~

The turtle bus sighs softly, casting it's eyes towards the palace.

'Just because you fear for them, does not mean you should rob them of the experience of growing up.”

He looks down at his guardian with kind eyes.

”It is in our nature, both dream and minion alike, to aid one another, and those on earth who welcome us into their minds. I do no think right to not let us aid the one we are about the most.”

The tone of his voice is not condescending, but rather as gentle and understanding as one can manage. His truly sweet nature shines through with every word. Moments later his head once more rises, looking towards the palace.

”Perhaps there is someone better for aiding you in this task.”

The team approaches at speed. Cho, the slowest in the group, is being carried by Seishu, while Inui rests on Harper’s back. Once close enough to the TB for the dream to speak to Seishu he stands, speaking only to the Nightmare Guardian.

”I have no reason to seek forgiveness, however I will say I am sorry none the less.”

Seishu flies in low, slowing just enough so that when he drops Cho, Crios will be able to catch him easily, which he does, turning off to the side so that they can reach their guard points. Rasha springs from Rue's back, falling several feet to the ground where he comes to a stop, his post reach. They all spread in a circle around Enasi, leaving a large enough gap so that the TB does not have to worry about stepping on them when he decides to leave. Seishu stays well away, nodding in reply to the apology.

It was silent as the guardian thought over what he was told. Of course the turtle was right. . . He just had to let them go. He couldn't baby everyone forever. His minions needed room to grow and he needed to learn how to stop worrying so much. 'I sound like a mother.' Enasi chuckled at the thought, and then looked behind him towards the oncoming energies. 'I was hoping I'd have a little more time to not have to confront them. . .' He watched as TB rested his head, unaffected by the new amount of people taking up his home. He seemed to noticed the slight discouragement in his guardian's eyes and huffed. It caused a short gust of wind to push him backwards. Instead of appearing once again back in his spot, he decided to lay low in the tall grass, watching everyone start to take posts around.

"What has Seishu put them up to...?"

His voice was soft and almost inaudible, but the turtle looked over to where the guardian had hid. 'Why don't you find out sir? Enasi couldn't help but roll his eyes towards such an obvious notion. At the moment, all of his minions were facing him, looking to see where in the grass he laid. Along with wondering how Seishu planned on going about things. They all trusted him enough to know that their guardian would be safe, so none of them moved- but they did watch intently, at least until the two were both asleep.

The ground shook when TB stood. He looked around at everyone and merely took four slow steps backwards. He rested back down, and slowly but surely slipped inside that large turtle shell for some rest. He was still on break from walking back and forth to get dreams and minions where they wanted to be, so he decided to sleep. Going inside his shell was just for the sake of not harming Seishu with his energy. The shell acted as a barrier, considering TB had too much energy to be hidden.

Enasi finally sighed and peeked from his hiding space, before standing up. He pondered what to say, not having time to plan out stuff in his head. "I'm glad to see you're doing well." He started and simply nodded afterwards. It was better than nothing at least. He didn't plan on moving forwards or backwards from his spot, he simply stayed where he was.

With everyone in place, and the turtle bus out of the way Seishu comes in closer, hovering a few yards above Enasi. His expression is unreadable, so many things going through his mind and heart right now that all he can present, is nothing. He had originally planned on being very rational, telling Enasi that he wanted to talk, somewhere where they could speak freely, and once in their world he would be able to not overreact and start spitting fire at Enasi for his foolishness. However as he looks down at his counterpart, the obviousness of his not wanting to be there, speaking to him, Seishu can not help his impulsive nature. Drawing out the syringe he brought he makes sure Enasi is watching before plunging it into his own arm and injecting half the sedative into his body. He becomes immediately drowsy and with barely a hand full of wing beats, they stop altogether, and he falls.

Enasi watched the guardian fly closer. His eyes narrowed to get a better glimpse at the dull shine in his hand. He realized it was a needle a little too late though. Seishu had stuck himself with the needle and began falling to the ground. Even if he wasn't that high up, the fall looked as if it would be kind of painful. Enasi stepped forward and caught him, pushing the male's wings out of the way as he laid him in the grass.
"I guess you left me with no choice then, huh?" The guardian wasn't cruel. He wasn't going to let Seishu deal with the darkness for a second time. So, he picked up the syringe and stuck himself.

The effects were almost immediate. He was suddenly drowsy and couldn't keep his eyes opened. And in the next second, he fell in the tall soft grass. When both bodies were hidden by the grass, Harper was the first to turn away from them. The other minions followed his lead and became lookouts just in case a curious dream or minion wanted to check it out. But, Enasi picked this place for a reason. It was secluded and only TB lived here. He wasn't a lonely animal, but during his times of rest, he demanded peace.

Unlike the other times, Enasi woke up a little startled. That was probably because he was forced into unconsciousness instead of peacefully getting there. As he stood, everything seemed to come to life immediately.

". . .I wonder how long we'll be out."

The world around them formed into something rather simple compared to the other times. It was almost as if the world itself was telling them there were other things they needed to focus on. The sky brightened only enough to give a sunset feeling to the area. A mix of day and night, a peaceful in between. A large, great tree sprung to life in the center of a field, and that's where Enasi perched himself until Seishu came through. He sat under the tree, looking past the cliff that was created and out into a vast sea.

He didn't feel the need to hide away anymore, nor did he feel like he needed to ponder over what to say before hand. In Their World, he felt centered. It was probably why Seishu knocked him out. While he waited, he thought over TB's words. With a clear head, he came to the conclusion that he really did need to stop. His babying was getting out of hand- well. . . That seemed a little drastic. It was more like, his babying was a little too much and he needed to give them room.

'Give them room to grow. . .I'm sure Seishu is just here to tell me how foolish I'm being as usual. . .He could have just said that to me directly. . .

~The shock of the nothing makes him shudder, but after less than a minute it begins fading away. The change is subtle, but swift. He finds himself laying on his back in the midst of tall grass, tinted silver in the light of the sunset, and murmuring soft sounds of encouragement. Seishu is unsure of how rustling can sound encouraging, however he has no doubt of the truth of that thought. He lets out a sift sigh, the fact that his heart still aces letting him know just how much he was hurting before entering Their World.

If it hurts like this even here, it must be really bad.

Man this sucks.

Before all this I would have been content with him never being close to me.

Now, I can't stand the thought of him refusing to see me, even when he has more important things to deal with.

Grumbling softly he sits up a bit, peeking over the grass to watch at Enasi bounds up into a tree. Positive that Enasi did not see him, Seishu does not take offense to this and instead flops over on to his stomach and begins shuffling through the grass on ll fours. Staying mostly hidden for reasons unknown, the Nightmare Guardian tries desperately to figure out what he's going to say. All the strong feelings that he had fueling his initial argument ideas when he sought out his counterpart before have all faded, leaving him in pain, and at a loss.

When at last he reaches the base of the tree, looking up into the eyes of his other half, he comes to a very simple conclusion.

I'm always telling him what he's doing wrong.

Always pointing out ways he's failing.

He knows all that now, and his decisions are his.

I can't just keep telling him, it won't do any good.

So. . . .

I'll just let him figure out what is to be said today.

He's not stupid.

He knows he hurt me.

And if that's not important to him, then I can't force him to face it, and it just won't come up.

But knowing him, he'll apologize even without prompting. . .

For some reason the prospect of this apology doesn't sooth Seishu's wounded heart. In fact, somehow he knows that an apology is not what is needed. With a sift sigh he launches up into the tree. Landing on a branch a few yards away from Enasi, Seishu settles in to wait, looking up at his counterpart every so often with a patient expression on his face.~
