Shinji was walking through the streets of Nakakuma City to his house while thinking to himself "I wonder if there are gonna be any new challengers coming to the city it sure would make things interesting around here." Shinji thought to himself as he approached his house. "Well I'm home time to find something to eat I'm starved." Shinji walked into his house, shut the door behind him and started looking through the fridge and pantry for food.

Rick was in his house, in his gaming room, playing some video games to pass the time. He was waiting for updates on the Sci-Fi tournament. He was excited, as he owned a sci-fi suit and was ready to fight. He was eager, but he continued on playing his games.

Shinji's Sci-Changer gave off it's notification ringtone. "Hmm wonder what I got." Shinji picked up his Sci-Changer to see that the message was a video update from Nakakuma's Gaming company named "PWN Corp." The video began to play.

"Attention Sci-Fighter you have been personally selected to compete in the first annual Sci-Fight Tournament known as The Champions of the Future! If you choose to accept this offer you will be up against the millions of Sci-Fighters that roam the planet if you win the tournament you will be given a 1 Million dollar cash prize and you will be given the title of World Champion! So Sci-Fighter do you accept this challenge?"

The question "Do you accept?" with the words YES & NO appeared underneath the message. Shinji then without hesitation tapped the word YES with his finger. "So it looks like I get my wish wonder who my first opponent will be." another video messaged appeared.

"I almost forgot to mention this isnt your normal gaming tournament. In order to qualify you need to find and defeat a total of 5 Sci-Fighters and take these from that defeated player..." The man holds up a pure white card with the Sci-Fight Emblem on it. "This is a called a Card Token you'll receive your first one In the mail the first day of the tournament in 5 days be sure to insert it into your Sci-Changer's Token Reader or it will be invalid. Once you lose 2 or less of your Card Tokens from The Token Readers index you are officially out of the Tournament and can no longer participate. Well that's all for now fight on Sci-fighter and good luck.

Shinji then gave off a big smile. "Sounds fun wonder what will happen." Said Shinji who started to head outside almost instantly.

Jack was talking a walk around Nakakuma city. He had his morning shot of coffee from the local cafeteria, a vital thing for him to start his day. It was a while before he had any Sci-Fight due to the lack of competition. The lack of competition from his opponents made him quite dissappointed with the game, to the point of powering down his Al-fighter, or just mess around during the fight. Of course, he believed that there should be opponents worthy enough for him to go all out, but until he found one, he decided to avoid playing the game and relax.

On his way home, his Sci-Changer beeped, to alert him of a message-invitation about the first annual Sci-Fi Tournament ever, an event he never heard before. He didn't know if ability or fame throughout the game were criteria for the selection, or if everyone could join and it was simply survival of the fittest, but one thing was for sure. There were bound to be strong opponents in a tournament, especially with this great a prize.

"Interesting...I guess I will have something to occupy my time!" Jack thought and replied positively in the message.
