Mother Goose is a story based off of Mother Goose rhymes, twisted and turned into dark and malevolent tales of death. Many children's stories have been rearranged into a frightening world that still holds onto it's few beacons of hope. The roleplay has a preset cast of characters for storyline purposes, but players can create that character in any way they so choose. We are open to having even more characters added on, but you must contact Frozen or Ryu in order for the idea to be accepted.

Accepted Character List
It's been several years since the Witch known as Mother Goose first started her gruesome quest for eternal youth. She was saved from a giant by an idiot lumberjack who sought after her in the giant's castle, way in the sky. The Lumberjack heard tales of a goose that laid Golden Eggs and took his quest to save her in hopes to bring wealth to his kingdom.
But what he brought instead, was a terrible creature with a deranged mind. She was not an actual goose, rather a witch with an affinity for geese. Her eggs were not golden, in fact they were not even eggs. They were spells, spells for youth and for death.
See, magic in this world is a terrible thing. To use magic, something must first die, and old Mother Goose knew how to manipulate it very well. By killing children she was able to steal their youth for herself, but it was no fun to her unless she ate the poor bastards. So she sent her newfound partner, the Lumberjack, to villages in search of children. When he no longer could be seen without being recognized, Mother Goose had children by him, who continued their work for near thirty years, and they bore a small girl named Rouge.
Rouge's parents where eventually burned at the stake when caught trying to steal children for old Mother Goose, and she was left all alone with her grandparents and their twisted sense of morality. She was kept young, a little girl, by the Witch's spells, and she carried on the work of her parents cloaked in an infamous bloodstained hood that allowed the wearer to leave no sound behind. She became known as the Little Red Riding Hood.
When it soon showed that even Little Red could no longer complete the job, Mother Goose decided to make a final spell that could last them more than a hundred years until it needed to be redone, allowing her to be all but forgotten by then. So getting her hands on all the woodland creatures she could find, she slaughtered them to turn all adults in unprotected villages into creatures of the Forrest so the youth had no choice but to leave the protection of their homes.
Bonnie, the Princess of the realm, convinced her father, Old King Cole, to send rescue parties out to the villages to take the children into the safety of the castle, warded against enchantments as long as it's gates where shut. These parties where made of youth and were lead by a member of the nobility so that they may move freely through the gates.
One day there came two youth, a young boy and an older girl, to the castle gates claiming to have escaped from the Witch. The boy's name was William, the girl Jill. Jill had rescued the boy but was turned into a werewolf by the Witch before they could escape.
William was an odd child. Pale skin that shone pink in the sunlight. He was a bit overweight... Or rather a lot. In his village he and his brothers had been known as the Three Little Pigs, but neither he or Jill would say what had become of the other two. He was sort of a brat, but he seemed to understand his need to change.
Irregardless, he was proof that the Witch was not as powerful as she seemed, she could be evaded. This gave the kingdom hope, but it made Mother Goose as angry as ever. So when a year passed by, William safely in the confines of the castle, Mother Goose devised a plan to get him and every child protected in the castle, and use them for her final spell for the next few centuries. But first she needed a traitor.
