Calos' tail was successfully grabbed by Akira. However, Akira could possibly realize, that he'd need to be pretty careful, on how he held onto it, if he didn't want to accidentally hurt himself on the smaller spines of it. But the main threat of being stabbed by the barb, was avoided. "...Oooooh... that tickles..." Calos said giggling. "I haven't had someone back there... for awhile..."

The crowd continued watching silently, with a bit of fear and dread in most of their eyes. Some had some cautious optimism about Akira in this fight. All the while, several mothers were immediately covering up the eyes or ears of their children, knowing what sort of horrors Calos would wish to do.

Serenity splashes into the water, glad she had shielded herself from the sides of the slide. She wasn't exactly dressed for such adventurous actions... But oh well. She pulls herself out of the water, kept dry by her shielding. She looked around while she waited for the others to show up. It was a nice place down here, for all the shadiness that surrounded it.

And it was still shady. Serenity wanders over to one of the stacks of weapons, examining the composition thereof. With a stash like this, though, it seemed more like she'd find ordinance here, not a polearm.

The stash looked well intact, and there was a wide variety of weapons of all shapes and sizes. From blaster pistols, to railguns, to high frequency bladed weapons, plasma enhanced warhammers, many incendiary devices, it appeared that there were many things you could find. Red adjusted his foil hat as he swam in place in the pool. "Many choices exist. Out of watch from the White Nova, they won't get a cut of this. Ever." Red said while scowling at the thought of the White Nova breaching these hallowed halls.

From the depths of the pool, emerged a small creature. Well small being relative, if you knew the creature. It was the size of an adult octopus. It's green scaly head slightly poked out of the water, along with a tentacle covered in a several small suction cups. It opened its maw revealing a mouth overfilled with curved back hook like teeth. Red glanced at it, "Did we wake the baby Kraken? Well it's a good thing Bertha didn't wake up. She is rather ornery when she first wakes up."

Serenity turns her eyes and smiles, her tail flicking lightly behind her. "Aww, how cute~. A baby kraken? Aah, but... wait, you drop your guests into a pool with a Kraken in it...?" Honestly, a girl gets all dolled up for a fancy night at the casino and this is how she gets treated? Sent down a nasty-ass shoot, into a pool with Kraken in it, by some shady guy who's got something against White Nova? His name's Red, apparently... This better not be color-based turf warfare. She contains a chuckle at the idea.

"Er, I'm looking for a polearm. Something light, but with a cutting edge, too."

"You can never be too prepared. Never. Never. Ah polearm, plenty of light models. Ah, you probably want a plasma enhanced polearm. The weapon is designed to only release the plasma energy when it strikes a solid object. But you can change that feature." Red said while still messing around in the water. The Kraken baby swam around in circles.

Wildmax nodded and took stock of Helix. Now that he was clad in what looked like a battle attire he seemed more professional and less hostage-y, for lack of a better word. That might just have been because Wildmax couldn't tell at a glance what any of Helix's equipment actually was, just that it looked fairly cool. "Whenever you're ready. I suppose we should go find the client in the shopping district".

Helix glanced at Wildmax, and gave a thumbs up with his right hand. "I got what I needed, had a quick tearful, well mammalians call it tearful, farewell." Helix glanced down for a moment, if he wasn't a reptile, he'd be tearing up a bit. However, he was a reptilian alien, and as such had no tearducts. He glanced back up at Wildmax, "Alright then. Let's head back."

"I'm sure I could, even if you told me I couldn't." Her eyes followed the Kraken as it swims around in the pool. How cute. Though, it certainly wasn't your typical pet. To have a Kraken all the way out here, he must have some funds. Red seemed awfully at home, swimming with such a creature, but he probably had them trained. Hopefully, he had them trained.

She picks a railgun from the pile and inspects it, checking sights, and the circuits with her power. It was always interesting to see other designs, and ways she might improve on them. "Do you have any particular supplier? Or are you not very picky?"

The sight on the railgun looked quite optimal, the check on the circuitry confirmed that the device wouldn't be prone to overheating. It also seemed like the potential velocity of the rounds produced was slightly higher than more notable railgun brands. And that it appeared the current power supply of the device would last for good while longer.

Red continued paddling in the water, "Business is business."

Helix walked up towards the wall as he gave it a quick smak with his right hand. "Take care girl, dunno when I'll see you again." He walked out of the ship, glancing back to see if Wildmax was following. He quickly strolled out of the area, and gave a quick nod to the Sentry Droids.

+Maurice, did you find everything that you need?+ "Yes, yes, got everything, just need to wait for the bot." One of the Sentry nodded its headpiece, in affirmation, before glancing back forward and aiming his guns forward as well.

"You'll wake the other one like that, won't you?" Serenity looks over at the merchant as he paddles around in the water. Perhaps that was the point, though? The woman continues to go through weapons idly, replacing the railgun after taking note of the model number and picking out a shoulder-fired laser. She kneels, to peer through the sight. She runs a low power frequency through it, examining how the energy comes together to form the beam. Interesting technique...

She replaces this one, as well. Finally, she spots the plasma melee weaponry. She browses before she finds something that might be suitable, a halberd that actually seemed to be pretty light. She twirls it around once or twice, before moving to a more open spot. She takes a stance and begins to wield the weapon, getting a feel for how it would handle.

Red continued paddling through the water, "Perhaps, perhaps not. Only time can truly see yes." The baby kraken chirped in delight as it swam around in the water alongside Red. The Kraken, Bertha, that he spoke of, if it even existed in these waters, appeared to be in a slumber of sort. Or, not existing. One of those two options were probably correct.

The Rail Gun had it's model number scratched off, well most of it, the only part of it that remained was a K a U and an 8. Each of them were fairly far apart. Well, as how the energy formed a beam, that was a fascinating thing! At incredible speeds, the device would strip electrons from the sub-atomic molecules that were the inert energy inside of the magazine. The ions would then be attracted to the positively charged atoms, and a resulting charge would fire out the negative ions at incredible speeds leaving a lot of damage. Well, it was possibly that, or it was relying on some other sort of reaction creating a deadly beam. Which was possible.

The plasma polearm Serenity picked up felt incredibly light, perhaps even too light... Well there were many polearms of the same type, but made of different alloys and materials giving them different weights. But as for the one she picked up, yes it seemed like it was incredibly light weight. While she was twirling it around, she inadvertantly activated the plasma generation, a light purple aura emanated from the top of the spear. Strangely it was not producing a dangerous heat at the moment, but was only glowing purple.
