When the morning came Rei woke with a great reluctance, her eyes heavy and her head pounding. It was immediately apparent she slept terribly. And how could she have expected not to after everything that happened last night? ”What the hell...” The girl groaned to herself as she pulled herself out of bed t get ready for the day ahead. As she did so her mind ran about in circles, the Velvet Room, Shadows, Personas, and the hour of reflection. It felt like everything was toppling onto her like a ton of bricks all in the span of a single day and she had no real direction to go in for answers.
Through the entire day she would find herself unable to shake the subject in her mind. Classes held even less of her attention than they normally did, anyone trying to talk to her would be better off trying to talk to their dog, only earning half dazed responses. For the first half of the day she was in her own little world. When lunch time finally rolled around she picked up a couple of rolls from the school shops and headed off towards the meeting spot, munching on one herself. When she arrived a few of them had already made it there before hand. ”Yo.” She called out to the group in between bites as she approached.
”I brought bread, if anyone wants.” She said flatly, holding up the plastic bag a bit before sitting down on a bench. It was meant to be a friendly gesture but her voice certainly held no enthusiasm due to how very worn she felt. She set the bag down beside her and lightly rubbed her aching hand, looking around between those that had gathered. ”So, we're here to talk about this wonderland of crap we got thrown into, right?” Rei continued speaking, looking between the others for someone to start the conversation proper, because she certainly had no idea where to begin
