"They are coming! I feel them scratching inside my mind, scratching, screaming, running, so many - so, so many voices. They are coming for us - flesh, body and soul"
- Unknown

"Across the heavens the flotilla of bio-ships stretched out, impelled by instinct to hibernate again until new prey was found, new resources could be plundered. In their wake was left a bare rock orbiting a star, scoured of every organic particle, stripped of all but the most basic elements. Nothing was left of the farming world of Langosta III, there were no testaments to the humans who had once lived there. Now all that was left was an airless asteroid, the unmarked death place of three million people."

"Daddy, since when were stars that large? And why are they so...green?

-A boy and his father, unknown species.

"At first I thought we could be friends...boy was I wrong..."

-leader of one of the Restupi nations.

"We work as dogs as those stupid mutts and bears play in the jungle, and the rats haven't done a damn thing about 'em!"

-Unknown Restupi

"Dreaming of a better day? Heh, it'll get worse from here on out.."

"Those lights blinded my eyes as I stared into the heart of its magnificent ray, and then I heard a loud eruption that stretched for half a minute or so, an then again, and then again, and then again, and so on. I guess I should be glad, cause from what I was told, there was nothing left to look at."

The Genestealers tactical value is less than 1 percent their going to die and I don't really care if they do, the fleet has arrived

I would beg to differ, I would have personally placed tactical value of a force of 30 units that have already bypassed the Collective defenses mucher higher than less than one %, considering the hugely destructive weaponry the Collective employs. I'm not really too bothered by the hive fleet, its likely the planet will fall though I do intend to take a huge chunk of your force with me, and considering what will be left I doubt it would have been a worthwhile investment for the Tyranids, and given that this strain is more intelligent I can imagine it would think twice before trying again on another such world, and that's my end goal here. Essentially, re direct them.
I had this problem with the seeders, I'm glad to see the same tactics I had erected all so long ago as a contingency to their assault or the victory of Equestrian forces will finally see some use, good to know it wasn't a complete waste, maybe my overall plan for them will work the same here as well.

Hey duck, want a few 'nids coming your way? XD

Good thing I still have my Dark Energy and Hardlight weapons, muhaha. Good thing I get to show their power off too >:)

On the bright side, the Kalle system is 40 light years away from any other system, so they would have something like fifty years to prepare for the Tyranid invasion since they have no FTL. Given the insane adaptiveness my humans have shown in earlier RPs, I think Lakfakalle might just stand a chance.

Of course then there will probably be an extra-universal invasion of doom. Because we can't have anything good happening.

Actually, given that you made something that can resist it yourself that's not strictly true anymore, is it? Haha.

And yes, please don't spoil one of my plans for trying to weaken his hive fleet so I might stand a chance. Of saving the planet please... :c

You Miss understand the Beauty Of The Tyranids I get everything back if I win. I reabsorb all my lost biomass and even more from your own world.

There's one key problem with that ((I've had to deal with a similar issue twice before, haha, the plan already deals with the problem of the aliens thriving off your loss)) and you'll see what it is soon. I should warn you Endgame is a potential rage causer considering it's application essentially cheats you from victory hha (Sadly its a phyrric victory for me at best, given the dramatic losses, especially since its supposed to be my new habitat world to support me >:( That's why its the last resort though, ah well, there will be more children to replace the dead and more worlds to replace the loss)

So your employing the strategy of destroying the world before the Tyranids can harvest the biomass.

My issue is. How do you know what the Nids are up to or all about? You don't. You've never fought them before.

So fight to last breath but at first the Nids have the upper hand that's just how it works.

On the topic if making them change course you can do that, by offering them a larger meal. You can always attempt talking to them.

Actually, its the last resort in any situation that is unsalvageable. Hell, their technology is programmed to destroy its self when the operator dies. They have a law against any less advanced species obtaining any form of technology freely, this is rarely if ever bypassed.

Collective worlds are designed to be powerhouses. Habitat worlds contain massive cities and huge expanses of farmland, Forge Worlds have their surface covered in massive factories, their mantles hollowed out and turned into massive underground production facilities. Hive worlds are covered with the Corruptelae Insectum, a species that follows its hive minds, without which it has a single function "Eat, grow, reproduce, eat, grow, reproduce" As such their surroundings have to be specially catered to. The result, however, is hordes of expendable shock troops to toss at your enemies before sending in proper soldiers. Etc
As you can imagine, an enemy capturing any of these worlds is considered taboo ((Aliens with the capabilities to produce Triarian Battleships?! A simply unacceptable situation!)). Individuals are expected to destroy themselves rather than risk capture for interrogation, and if they are captured the Collective is quick in its attempts to destroy them and their captors. Its impossible to remove all equipment and individuals from a planet on short notice, as a result the easier and faster option is a great big KABOOM!
...
...
I... Haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've never lost a world in game... :(

I didn't think of that. Given the Collectives own over population problems (That sounds evil... Maybe a little too evil, even for them) and their ability to produce masses of Corruptelae Insectum (To give an example of how fast, the Collective had to cap the pop to stop the Queen overpopulating the hive worlds. Unfortunately, their meat is poisonous to all Collective client races but the Umbrae Populus, meaning they couldn't solve their food problem this way) I could make an alliance with this hive mind, and/or redirect it towards another race... Profit, muhaha!

Well it is likely that this world is lost. But you can attempt to make a deal to spare it's inhabitants and redirect the fleet.

Possibly so in its current state, though if the Tyranids were kind enough to finish up and bugger off, they could try to repurpose it (Read: Kill anything left and start from scratch). Unfortunately that fucks with the time frame for a stable food supply... AGAIN! Grr, fucking, shit, grumble, mumble, no food, starve, mumble...

Edit: That is, unless the sods have managed to annihilate it, in which case I'll have to find another 3.8 to 4/2G planet -.-
