That just means that one company of soldiers that are equal to Draconian soldiers of the current technological levels would be able to take down another nation's army.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but it sure looks like you're saying that the Draconians are all-powerful gods.

The Draconians were intergalactic-advanced. If this is supposed to be a much lower technological level, then why is there more sciencetechstuff? That just means that one company of soldiers that are equal to Draconian soldiers of the current technological levels would be able to take down another nation's army. You're kind of saying that, instead of having floaty hover cars like in the last roleplay, we'll have the older mustangs and those other cars that are old for us, like 1950s-1990s era of cars. Except, you basically just said that they all have engines that would make them go into outer space, instead of just float.

In his defence, he said the Triarii, who survived the war with their tech and knowledge mostly intact. The mustangs and stuff are from the LCF, who are basically the unadvanced humans who sort of stumbled blindly onto space travel.

Well, not really. The LCF is 90's humanity, but with more species. The only reason the have Warp Drive is because a negative energy factory was abandoned on their planet, so when their Miguel Alcubierre came up with Warp Drive, they had the ability to build it without spending decades figuring out how to make negative energy. However, they are the ones with mustangs. Or should I say random SUVs.
Outfitted with mortars and machine guns.

Also, Wilson. You're not allowed to start a war because you disagree with someone OOC. Just, no. Stop. Now.

I'm not starting a war?

And I'm not saying that they are all-powerful gods. If anyone has a number of highly-trained, highly-skilled soldiers that were both naturally and genetically altered to war, with proper leadership and loyalty, then they could easily wipe out a superior-numbered force. They were at their peak beforehand; how would someone with less advances be able to make them better, and keep them as Draconian?

And if everyone were so highly advanced, then it would be a simple matter of just making little surveyships/probes and sending them out everywhere, and then taking control of unclaimed resource-rich asteriod belts, planets, and moons, and then quickly building up automated ships that can be used to destroy another enemy fleet without any significant loss.

And if I were to start a war, I'd use the Supremes.

Wait, do you think that I'm going to start a war with the Equestrians because I don't like Duck?
I just wanted to poke him and see how he reacts. The Triarians would be much more likely to shoot, and the Supremes don't like being shot at unnecessarily. The LCF/humans are too underdeveloped for the Supremes' tastes, and everyone else is smaller. Except the Alexandrians. But theyalready figure they'd fire at the Supremes should they poke their nose in.

Please define everyone, because I don't see many people on that level

"If anyone has a number of highly-trained, highly-skilled soldiers that were both naturally and genetically altered to war, with proper leadership and loyalty, then they could easily wipe out a superior-numbered force" Depends on the numbers

Anyway, Ducks classification of the Equestrians as second is superficial when you think about it. They may call themselves second place to the Collective when excluding the Supremes and Aetherii, but they are still trailing behind, so its hardly as if the supposed second place is coming close to the level you are talking about. What are the criteria for "highly advanced"?

Soooo according to you Wilson the gods of Chaos whom are arguably the most powerful entities in the Galaxy and Certainly in the warp. Are smaller and thus bellow the Supremes notice....? If that's true I highly suggest you rethink your position. the worst thing you can do is underestimate Chaos as not a threat it will definitely bite you in the ass later.

By the advanceyness stuff, I was in response to the LCF's use of Draconians. Of course, they may not have been trained very well [do they practice daily against savagely intelligent creatures with 6 arms and an armored hide similar to a Draconians', usually outnumbering the trainee?] for Draconian terms, since Draconian fighting style usually utilizes a blitzkrieg kind of tactic. Strike hard and fast, too much to be blocked, and hopefully too fast to be avoided or dodged.

And as for me looking for war, well, I honestly don't remember what I put that for, or why. My original intent was to essentially bug the Equestrians in some way [such as landing on top of a military building or some other thing that wouldn't necessarily be aggressive, but both a show of how little they cared for the feelings of others, and their skill at controlling themselves and their own technology] and provoke a response, and eliminate, avoid, or in some other way retaliate in a passive-aggressive way. Like a cat in Minecraft that always sits on your chest, even when you shoo it off.

They're bored. They want something to laugh at, and Equestrians have almost permanently put themselves into the Supremes' inferior stare. It will be very hard to keep them from looking down on both the LCF, and the Equestrians.

And if you want them to respect you, you will have to think in a way similar to the Draconians. They made Draconians over one of their more basic needs, to war and to kill, as was shown in a post I made some time ago.

Bloody a Supremes' nose, and depending on their mood and how bad you bloodied them, and your reaction afterwards, and you may just make a great friend that'll never betray you... or will smash your face in. Ever wise, but so bored that they don't always care for it. What is there to do when you are so far ahead everyone else, that there is no reason to keep going, because you can already achieve what you want to achieve.

If the Triarians or any of them are a match, and pose a serious threat that can't just be brushed aside, then yes, the Supremes really are above. They were the first, as was said in the original application, which was accepted. The first race of mortals, and through extended survival and exploration, they rose to a demigod-ish position. A Triarian psionic [or any of the other p-words, I generally refer to the mind-power stuff as 'psionics'] wouldn't be a match for a Supreme psionic. However powerful the Triarian or other might be, only could they prevail through cleverness and ruthlessness. However, Supremes tend to flock about in large numbers, present Equiis visitors excepted.

The Supremes are a sort of anti-deity. The Goddess or Chaos or Faust or whoever can't spy on them, unless the Supremes all collectively allowed them to. If there were a small enough amount, then yes, a deity/omnipresent being could spy on them, but forcing their way through the field that surrounds a Supreme would very much likely kill them, or put them in a comatose. The result would have the ship spiral out of control until the VI corrects, and reports back to other ships, which would then pick up the comatose Supremes and never leave their little population centers, which would be like a great cloud of nothing on a radar or sonar scanner for a deity. \

Really, what are you going to do? Approach that giant spinning station-ship floating in a neutral area far enough from everyone to be unclaimed, but close enough to be within Supreme communications range, and then try to shoot them? That is the worst thing you could do. The Supremes don't have a defined territory, except for areas where they have automated platforms, in other parts of the universe! And even then, there really isn't anything they really NEED. They're just kinda hoarding territory that they've killed all sentient life from. They don't have any cities, or stations with people on them. It's on all the Supreme fleet, where Warships are just as much battlecruisers as they are cities.

EDIT: ALthough I wouldn't pass up the chance for a good war or engagement. It's been rather dull and boring lately, so I haven't really done anything. And I need the Draconians present if I want to include the white-scale-robed Goddess in the Deity Conflicts.

Well if what you have said is true then you are to blame for the creation of the chaos gods. Also I would like to Clarify that unless you have done extensive research into warp technology then you cannot block Chaos signatures.

The God's themselves do not have a physical form and thus cannot be killed although they will never actually show themselves rather send daemons and the like. As for your remark about you psi units I really can't say how they would stake up against a regular Daemon of chaos as Daemons utilize the warp not psi. Psi is only used to gain access to potential host bodies. :/

But it sounds to me like your sole purpose is to belittle other nations and that isn't cool.

The problem with this assumption is that it's speaking in absolutes. On pen and paper, and by technicality, a force with superior numbers simply has more firepower to bring to the field; this same force can also spread out its elements and assets (infantry, armor elements and airborne/spaceborne power) over a wider area than a smaller yet better-trained force can, which will cause problems if this larger army starts disrupting supply lines, forcing choke-points and dominating the field of battle to where the advantages of your Draconians are more or less rendered moot and void. The idea of an all-elite army dominating a significantly larger one each and every time is something that you see in fiction, not in reality (exceptions, of course, do exist)..

Examples of this occurring can be seen in one of Humanity's most famous wars, WWII, where the USSR, which vastly out-performed Nazi Germany's military forces in the numbers department, walked away with a handy victory (though after losing much in the way of war material and men).

Additionally, Draconians dumping that much genetic augmentation and training into each and every solider makes for an extremely strong but ungodly brittle military force that will never recover once it begins to suffer major defeats. It's unable to wage a war of attrition, as the enemies it's facing can afford to keep throwing bodies on the front lines without taking a second look at their wallet.

The Draconians, however, cannot. Their method of war sounds like it relies on shock value, surprise and running into conscripts/unseasoned soldiers---which are advantages that won't last long once people catch on to how they conduct themselves during war. Soldiers will, inevitably, survive encounters with them, which will gradually see the emergence of a proper force perfectly tailored to doing battle with these supposed 'unstoppable' super-soldiers.you have created.

There's also the issue where being 12 feet tall is not an advantage. You instantly become bait for every anti-material rifle, tank (yes, tank) and aircraft out there.

Anyway, are there any mini plots going on that might concern individual characters rather than whole nations? Or is that something that might come along later?

Name of nation: Vedian Commune

Species: The Vedians, a peaceful race of magically inclined beings with an average lifespan of 750 years. A tall and skinny species with grey leathery skin, yellow bulb like eyes and no hair on any part of their body. With no mouth, they communicate entirely telepathically and can even use their telepathic abilities to manipulate people, although this doesn't work on hiveminds.

Vedians oppose violence but are not pacifist, willing to fight to defend themselves in the event that they are attacked. Their primary objective is to create a strong network of political alliances to deter any who plan to attack them, although Vedians prefer to keep themselves out of any conflicts that are initiated by their allies.

Their homeworld (and only world) is the large planet of Auzhan.

Description of government: The Vedian Commune is ruled by an unknown entity known as Zoram who has telepathic connection with any one who is on Auzhan as well as those who are nearby the planet. A council is responsible for organizing the food and water supplied to local citizens, each council responsible for one region of the planet. All councils are governed by the Supreme Council, an organization who's members are chosen directly by Zoram himself, only being replaced if a member dies. Any citizen who wants to join a local council may apply to be elected, with a new local council election happening every 5 years. All policies are decided by Zoram.

All supplies are magically created by a volunteer workforce, with the planet having run dry of resources long ago. Citizens who do not work receive supplies for free, although slightly less than those on the council, in the military or workforce. Voting in local council elections is compulsory.

Description of military: The Vedian Commune utilizes offensive magic rather than weapons, with no weapons ever having been made in the history of the Vedian Commune. During schooling, all citizens of the Vedian Commune are taught to use offensive magic to ensure that they are ready in the event of an attack, with the standing army being almost entirely made up of military researchers who attempt to discover the secrets of greater offensive spells. Since the majority of citizens remain unemployed, drawing up an army quickly is easy.

History: Auzhan was once a lush and beautiful land covered with trees and grasslands, with the Vedians being a small primitive tribe that suffered constantly from raids by hostile wildlife. However, the tribe fell under the influence of Zoram at a point when they were almost destroyed, causing their innate magical energies to be unlocked. Using their new abilities, the Vedians exterminated all hostile wildlife and began using magical abilities to synthesise construction materials and building a massive city raised above the ground that soon grew across the planet, transforming Auzhan into an ecumenopolis.

Beneath the city lies an overgrown forest that is teeming with natural wildlife. Expeditions down into the forests are rare, with the Vedians deciding that they would rather expand their influence to the stars. If only they could unlock the secrets of space travel...

( I never was very good at apps and this isn't a great one. But then again, it's about the RP, not the app.
