All you really need to know is that I'm an old man who lives in a box, Joe is a pair of scissors, Cid is... well I'm really not sure what Cid is. Also there are robot duplicates running around and kidnapping people, apparently.

I'm finding the end result of all this combined weirdness to be increasingly amusing.

Yeah, same reasoning behind why eating meat isn't cannibalism. Animals are made of flesh, just like you and I, but they aren't human so it really doesn't fit the definition.

Though claiming otherwise sounds like some shitty argument that PETA or something would bring up, now that I think about it.

You're assuming that people actually have the skills and powers of their avatar.

If that's the case, I should be able to solve the whole situation easily by convincing someone to kill Mahz and then set us free.
