Trex glanced up as the train swayed. They were almost to Hargeon station. He glanced at Flynn. “Alright. As soon as the train stops, send Orian to track this wizard.” He bent down and gently picked up Zelia. Placing her into one of the seats, he propped her up so she wouldn’t fall over. He looked at the others. “We’ll first take her to a hotel.” He informed them. “Skye, you’ll stay and watch her using your illusion magic to keep her safe. Hopefully by time we reach the hotel and get situated, Orian would have found our enemy.”

“And I have no problems lending a spirit to help.” Amber stated, her usual cheerful composition a bit dimmed by the prospect of what they could be up against. She frowned thoughtfully. “Unless the wizard is male it would not be smart sending Zoe.” She smiled. “Though fairly powerful, she mainly uses charm and fun spells. She can charm any guy if they didn’t know it.” She pulled out her key ring. “I guess I could send Aerok, my boar spirit. When it comes to fighting, he’s my best spirit.” She held up the silver key.

Trex nodded. “That works.” Though he had been surprised to see she only had three keys, two silver and the pink key, he kept it to himself. The good news was he doubted she would be any serious threat to Flynn in the competition. Quickly turning his attention back to the task at hand, he looked at the others. “We should sit down as the train comes to a stop.” He said just as the announcement for Hargeon station was sounded.

As the train came to a stop, Trex stood and picked up Zelia. “Keep your eyes open. I don’t want anyone to notice us here. Skye, can you do an illusion to avoid attention?”
The young wizard nodded. Without having to think too long on it she cast her spell. “There. Not completely invisible but unnoticeable. Even if you are looking, it will be hard to keep track of us.”

“Excellent.” Trex nodded to Flynn and Amber. “Alright go ahead and cast before we leave. That way, nobody picks up the magic. Even with Skye’s spell I don’t want to take any chances.”

~~~~~~
Silent like a leopard she moved through the young woman’s mind. She had no fear of being detected. She was a celestial wizard with the power over dreams and sleep. Only if she was in a celestial wizard’s mind did she have to worry about being detected. That last wizard, the young man with the strange white hair had detected her. She hadn’t thought it possible but he had. Naturally shy and reclusive, Twila had been surprised when he not only spotted her but talked to her. Yes, she was thankful she was not in his dreams at the moment.
Turning her attention back to the young woman, Twila watched as the dream continued to unfold. She had been ordered to keep this woman in a deep sleep. For what reason, it was not hers to ask and even if she had dared to ask she doubted that her mistress would react kindly. She just didn’t seem the type to accept questions from her spirits. Twila gritted her teeth. She had forgotten how annoying human wizards were. Having only been recently acquired by her mistress, Twila had endured centuries of freedom not having to serve yet another human who believed that they were superior and that spirits were their slaves to do as ordered.
She sighed and dangled her legs of the cliff’s ledge as she watched the young woman, Zelia, continue in her dream. At least it was a pleasant one. She smiled softly. “Put her to sleep and keep her that way”, had been the only command. She was thankful she didn’t have to cause nightmares. Though they didn’t affect her, she hated to cause others to suffer.
She felt their presence suddenly arrive. Though technically not in the dream, they were still there and could see her. Rising slowly she turned. It was a bit ironic that the hunter and boar were together and here. Ignoring Erymanthian, she nodded to the hunter. “Orian.” She said, her voice quiet yet firm. “I take it you have been summoned to find the wizard that holds my key.” She stated quietly. Any other spirit and it would be waste of time. But Orian… Twila knew he would be able to follow the underlying energy that still connected her to the key, even if she was in the dream world. Stepping aside, she moved out of his way. So he wanted to find her key. She had no reason to stop him and no desire to fight. Her orders were to keep Zelia in the dream world. There was nothing Orian could do about that unless he attacked her, which she highly doubted he would do. Orian was good but he was no color key spirit. He and Erymanthian were silver key spirits. Good in their own way, poor in comparison to the gold or color keys. Combined they might be a match for her but it wouldn’t be pretty. Some of the other color key spirits might think they were invincible but Twila never liked to try the odds. Why fight if you didn’t need to? Extending her claws, she kept her arms to her side and waited. Would they continue on their way, now that she offered no resistance or try to attack?
Flynn nodded his head as Trex told him and Amber to cast. He took his keys and quickly found Orian's. Once he was released, Flynn gave him in general synopsis of what had happened and what was going to happen. Orion nodded and transformed into a hawk before he disappeared. Zelia's face contorted for a moment before relaxing again. Flynn looked at the sleeping girl and took her head, leaning it against Trex's shoulder and placed her limp arm on her lap. Flynn smiled as she looked less unconscious and more sleeping. Sure, they meant the same thing but it they looked different to him. If he had left her head dangling along with her arm, it just looked like something was wrong. He looked at Trex and nodded his head, "Let's get her to a hotel."
Flynn led them out of the train and down the street. This at least allowed him to prevent anyone from bumping into Trex. That could have some consequences that he did not want to know. He looked back over his shoulder to see Zelia still appearing peaceful, which was good, hopefully she was having a good dream. He didn't like the thought of any of them being stuck in a bad dream. He looked ahead again and hoped that Orian would find the wizard soon and for Zelia's sake, get the damn spirit out of her head. He looked at Amber and smiled, trying to lighten the mood slightly by not talking about the girl incapable of walking for herself, "So... What do you think we are going to have to do tomorrow?"
~~~~~~~
Orian looked at Twilla when stood and addressed him. He didn't say anything but merely nodded his head. He looked over a Zelia who seemed to be well for the meantime before looking back at Twilla. He spoke in a deep voice that was rarely ever heard, "You will stop."

He gave her a nod when she stepped out of the way and walked passed her. As he did the trail began to show and Orian was intent on finding the wizard. Flynn had asked it after all and the girl had always been kind when he was out. He didn't want to disappoint either. Besides, he knew how quickly a dream could take a turn and he hoped Twilla would stop it. He transformed once more, back into the shape of a hawk before he flew off the boar running behind him. They left her head soon after and kept on the trail in search of the wizard.

Zelia turned around then, "Hello?" She had been trying to sense someone in her head for sometime. She had thought this to be something like the attack on them when they were searching for the green key. But it hadn't been working. She should have let Flynn put Lepus on her head, no matter how humiliating it would have been. All the same, she had felt something strong in the back of her head a moment a go. Something she could only really assume to be a spirit. She started to walk trying to see if she could find the spirit, "Hello? Spirit? I don't want to hurt you... I just want to know why you are doing this... Hello?"

Trex moved quickly threw the streets. He avoided the main hotels and inns near the train station. If whoever put Zelia to sleep came along, that would be some of the first places they would look. No, there was a few other places they could go, like some of the places along the docks. Though some of them were not the best establishments, Trex knew that it would just add to Zelia's safety as not many would think that Fairy Tail wizards would frequent shady inns.

As they moved at a quick pace, Amber looked over at Flynn. "I don't know." She shrugging, excitement replacing the concern from earlier. "Maybe it will be a test of wills or some puzzles." She paused thoughtfully. "I hope it's not a spirit battle. I would hate to have to send my spirits against other people's spirits. Especially considering I only have a few spirits, only one of which would be good in regular combat."

Chris frowned. "I wouldn't give him all your secrets." He warned as he followed along. "He is competing against you."

Amber shrugged and waved him off. She looked back at Flynn. "Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to a challenge." She beamed. "What do you think it will be?"

Coming to a stop outside a rather shady looking inn, Trex paused. "This will work." He told the others. He handed a few coins to Skye, making sure he didn't move Zelia to much. "Reserve a room. Then make us invisible so the innkeeper and everyone else doesn't see us come in. Even with your current spell, someone might notice."

Raising an eyebrow, Skye accepted the money without comment. "Be right back." She said quickly disappearing inside. In a few minutes she was back outside. "Room 210." She told them. Casting the illusion she nodded at Trex. "There. You should be good. At least until we get into the room."

Trex nodded. "Alright lead the way."
~~~~
Erymanthian sent Twila a look and snorted before following Orian. Twila watched them leave without comment. Once they were gone, she turned her attention back to Zelia's dreams, her claws retracting. Steering the dream along a nicer path she was a bit surprised to hear the young woman call out to her. How did she know? Had the hunter and boar's presence increased hers? Fading into the background, she frowned as she saw the young woman start looking around as she walked, as if trying to find her. Looking into her memories, Twila pulled up the memory of someone and sent that person toward Zelia to distract her. Twila moved back and watched as the individual went up excitedly as they technically not seen each other for years. A reunion dream might sidetrack the young woman enough to make her forget. Dreams were funny things. You might not remember what you were just thinking about a few moments earlier. It all depended on the individual.
She frowned as she noticed the distraction didn't really work to well. Though there was a bit of a reunion, the young woman was still a bit distracted, still looking for her. Twila stayed out of sight. She sent some words into the friend's head and made her speak them. "Why are you worried about spirits? Come on, let's go celebrate at our favorite spot." The individual stated. Twila set it where they would quickly arrive at the location, some distance away in dream land and made her way back toward the cliffs. With the individual programmed to try and keep the young woman busy, she could go back to look at the young woman's memories. Sitting down, she let her legs hang over the cliff as she carefully went along, making sure not to bring the memories into the dream itself.
Flynn crossed his arms as they waited for Skye to come back. He looked around, this place was definitely sketchy. He knew they'd all be fine. They were all talented wizards, despite not being S class. So they could probably handle any Average Joe that was waltzing around the inn. The only thing he really worried about was if they left Zelia and Skye alone. If something went wrong and Skye couldn't hold up the spell and someone who was looking for any of them found them, they'd be in trouble. Skye's sword fighting ability might not hold up against one of the wizards and Zelia couldn't fight for herself, considering they couldn't even wake her up.
Flynn looked at Amber and shrugged, "I do hope that it isn't just based on fighting... I would hate to see the key to go to someone just because they can fight well... There is more to being a celestial wizard."
Skye came out then and Flynn nodded. He held open the door for everyone, but mainly Trex and walked with them up the stairs. He looked at Trex, "I think this will be the first time, Zelia will not have possession of the key..." He said trying to lighten the mood, "And she might end up... sleeping later than everyone else..." He looked down at the sleeping girl as her face pinched slightly and she squirmed in Trex's arms. He couldn't imagine what was going on but he only hoped it wasn't a nightmare.
~~~~~~
Zelia looked at her father as he approached her. Her heart stopped for a moment but it didn't take her long to realize that this wasn't real. The biggest give away was that he father was even there. She kept looking around for the spirit as her father spoke. The spirit messed up in mentioning there was a spirit because it only made her search more. A moment later the scenery changed and she stood with her father at her spot by the river. She kept looking around, "Zelia," her father spoke, "Enough with the searching... I want to spend time with you."

Zelia closed her eyes tightly, she couldn't deal with her dad talking in her ear, telling her not look. The worst part was that it was start to work. She opened her eyes again and recalled the memory of the day he left. She watched him as he stiffened slightly but just as he had that day, he turned and walked away, leaving her on the wall, staring out to the river. She closed her eyes again, "Please... My friends... They need me. Flynn has a competition tomorrow and he so wants that key. He is a good celestial wizard. He is kind, he deserves it.... I want to help him," She looked around again, searching for the spirit, "Please... Let me wake up."

"Agreed." Amber nodded. It would not be a fair contest if it was based on strength. Only make the most powerful celestial wizards out there receive the key. She hoped it was something more on intelligence or uniqueness rather then strength. Despite the fact she was a decent wizard and could take care of herself, there was no way she would be able to compete against wizards like Flynn. He had more keys and probably more experience. Of course, if it came down to strength she did have a few ideas. Either way, she'll wait to cross that bridge when they came to it. But for now, she was going to help the Fairy Tail wizards find out who was attacking Zelia and deal with them.

Trex smirked and nodded at Flynn's statement. "Yes and I bet she will be out of sorts when she wakes up and finds out." He said laying her down onto the bed. He looked around the room. It had seen better days. The paint on the walls were peeling and the carpet looked as if it never was replaced. At least the sheets were clean and not many would suspect that they would be here. "How long did you rent the room?" He asked looking over at Skye.

"For the night." She replied. "If we need longer, I can renew it." She stated hesitantly.

Trex shook his head. "No. Hopefully Zelia will be awake before than and after we get the key tomorrow we can leave."

"Assuming you'll get the key." Chris smirked crossing his arms. "Amber is going to win that competition."

Ignoring him, Trex looked at Flynn. "How long do you think it will take for Orian to find them and report back to us?" He asked eager to find the one responsible.
~~~~
The memory jolted her. She hadn't expected the young woman to have a memory like that. From the surface, she didn't seem like one who's father had abandoned her. What kind of man left his young daughter behind all alone in the world? She frowned slightly annoyed with the man and with herself. Served her right for not checking out the memory deeper instead of just tossing one out. Glancing down at the young woman and her father she frowned as she heard the request. There was no way she could allow the young woman to waken, not without permission from her mistress. She was bound to obedience as all spirits were to whoever held their key.
However, the young woman didn't have to know she wasn't waking up. She changed the scene to where it seemed like Zelia was waking up on the train. Trex's concerned face was looking down and the others were peering over his shoulder. "You're awake." He stated, relief evident. "You had us worried."
Twila leaned back. Now, if she was careful, the young woman need not know she was still asleep. The scene was realistic enough and if she kept a strong grip on the dream, she can ensure that it stayed that way.
Flynn laughed at Trex's comment and nodded, "Probably stay up the next night just to make she is up hours before everyone else to make up for it."
Flynn looked between Skye and Trex as they discussed. At mention of the key and returning home, he nodded. He looked at Chris when he made his quip and smiled before turning back to Trex. When he asked about Orian he thought about it, "Um... Let me check in with him."
He closed his eyes and soon the spirit allowed him to see what it saw. Orian looked over his shoulder to show how far they were from the city then looked forward again. Flynn could see the end of the trail some ways ahead of them. Flynn smiled, he hadn't realized he had gotten so good at keeping his spirits out at such a distance. Maybe he could try bringing two out at once, when he had the space. His eyes flickered open, breaking the bond with Orian. He nodded, "They are still some ways away from the end but it has come into sight," Flynn turned and looked at Amber, "How are you doing? I know that having spirits roam this far away from you is hard are the spirit and the wizard... You can close your gate with Erymanthian if you would like," he smiled at her, knowing she wouldn't want to do that. Once more he nodded his head, "I set up my link with Orian when he gets there. I'll relay what's happening... Have you ever had a fight when you weren't there? I sure haven't."
He turned again and looked at Trex, "I know where it is though. Orian looked over his shoulder, I could probably get on the right course before I have to focus on the fight. We should go now though, Orian and Erymanthian might not be enough... We don't know who is all there."
~~~~~~~
Zelia's eyes opened and a feeling of relief washed over her. However, as she looked from her friends, something seemed slightly off. She was almost sure she was awake but she just didn't feel as ready to go as normal... Then again she had just been put under by a spirit, that could very well be a side effect. She brought her hand up to her chest, "I'm sorry... I... It was a spirit... I think.... She did things with my dreams... showed me my father," she was caught off guard on why that detail spilt out. She didn't speak of her father often, especially not in public places. She looked up at Trex and then where she lay, "Am I on the floor?"

She sat up, forcing her friends backwards slightly. She stood and looked at them all. The cabin lurched slightly and she grabbed the nearest seat, "Are we still on the train? I thought I was asleep longer than that..."

She looked at the seats and sat down. Trex followed and sat with her while Flynn and Skye sat with Amber and Chris. She took the position that she had been sitting in with Trex before she fell asleep. All the same, she could not shake the feeling. The pulling at the back of her head, like someone was steering her still. She wondered if she could sense it now because she knew what it felt like or because she was still looking for it. She looked up at Trex, "How long was I asleep for?"

Amber smiled. Though she wasn’t about to admit it, keeping the gate open at this distance was a bit tiring. She had never done this before. However, there was no way the brunette was going to complain. “I’m alright.” She replied. “You might need Aerok." She shook her head at the mention of spirits fighting a distance away. “No.” She informed him. “In fact, I’ve never really sent my spirits too far out of my range.” She admitted. “I’ve never really had a need to before today.”

Christ frowned. If she wasn’t careful, Amber was going to burn up all her magic energy. Then where would she be for tomorrow’s competition? However, he didn’t say anything. Amber never listened to reason anyway. He just hoped she wouldn’t be completely drained. Her winning the competition not only helped her but it helped the Pegasus Guild. Fairy Tail was extremely popular guild with powerful wizards. More people were flocking to join it every day. For the other guilds, this meant that the power differentiation would keep increasing. There was no way he was going to allow Pegasus to drop even farther back. It was a proud guild, even though it did have its quirks.

Trex nodded. He looked at Skye. “Nobody gets in, understand?” He ordered.

Skye nodded. She already planned on setting up an illusion trap in case anyone came into the room. Combined with the spell hiding them, they should be alright. At least until her magic energy ran out. “Understood.”

“Even if she wakes up, I don’t Zelia jumping into anything.” Trex lectured. “She’ll undoubtedly want to help but I want to make sure she is alright before she gets involved, understand?” Wilting a little at his tone and gaze, Skye nodded. “Good.” Trex replied turning to look at Flynn, Chris, and Amber. “Tell us the location on the way.” He told Flynn as he headed toward the door.

The villains who did this were going to pay. And he didn’t care if it was the Caelum wizards or even another guild. This was just dirty and he was going to make them pay.

~~~~~
The Dream World
Still concerned, Trex followed Zelia to her seat. “We moved you to make sure nothing was wrong.” He informed her. “You were out for a good twenty minutes. It’s so unlike you.” He brushed some hair out of her eye. “Are you sure you are alright? Did the spirit give you nightmares? Taunt you?”
Twila nodded, satisfied that it was going well. Within a few minutes she would have the train arrive at…she looked through the memory – Hargeon. That way Zelia wouldn’t suspect. Then she would have them go around looking for a place to stay. Just enough time to waste before she had to come up with something else. She turned her attention back to Zelia. She didn’t know how long she had before her mistress called her back to defend against the hunter and the boar but until then, she would enjoy her time here.
She was not looking forward to battling the other two spirits. If it was an option, flight was always better than fight. But if it came to a fight, she would give them one.
~~~~
Maria sighed and looked at her nails. It was exceedingly boring just sitting her doing nothing. With Twila already out and keeping that girl asleep, Maria wasn’t even able to call up another spirit to toy with or annoy. Instead she was stuck here with Narsica.

Glancing at her compatriot, she rolled her eyes. Narsica wasn’t the best person to talk with. She seemed so suspicious and just like the other Caelum wizards, untrustworthy. Maria only felt comfortable with just her spirits. There was no way anything she said would come back and bit her. They would never betray her.

She sighed once again. Though Ryzo, Zen, and Tye had only been gone for a short time it seemed like ages. “I wonder if they found the Fairy Tail wizards.” She stated finally not being able to contain her talkativeness. “To see their smug smiles wiped off their sorry faces would have been great to see.” She smiled. “They stand no chance against us.” She looked at Narsica. “Do you know who the young girl was? The one that Tye was so enthroned with?” She asked. “They have some similarities. I wonder if they are related.”

Flynn nodded and headed out of the room. He spoke as he walked in front of them all. When they left the building, he looked around. He pointed to the left, "That way. I could see a tall red building at the edge of the city.... They are in a building... It kind of looked like a barn not to far out of town," He looked at Trex, "We should rent a car... Get there faster."

He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a few jewels. They stumble upon a car on their way to the red building. Flynn paid the man and nodded at the others as he climbed into the driver's seat, "Come on."

Once everyone was in, he stepped on the gas. He made sure not to go too fast, merely because people were around and he had not interest in getting arrested. He looked over his shoulder when he saw the red building. He looked forward and scanned the area, "In the distance there," he said pointing at the building that a hawk was circling. Flynn grinned, knowing it was Orian. He looked at Trex again, "That building looks like it is made out of an awful lot of wood."

He sped up and stopped the car not to far from the building but far enough that he hoped no one inside would hear. He looked at the others, "I'll send Orian in to scout it... Figure out who is in there. All of that."

He closed his eyes and the hawk flew into the building, perching on a banister. Flynn spoke quietly, "There are two people... I think they were with the Caelum wizards.... But the floor...... It's glowing... There must have been some kind of spell cast on it...."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zelia flinched slightly when Trex brushed her hair aside. The two of them were friends, best friends, but they tried to avoid things like that. Merely because so many people thought them to be more than just friends. For him to do that... In public. It baffled her. The pulling at the back of her head increased and Zelia's eyes flickered from here to there. She looked back at Trex sighed, "Only twenty minutes.... It felt like it was so much longer.... like... like I'm still asleep..."
She rested her head on his shoulder and yawned, "I'm still awfully sleepy... I think I'm going to try and walk it off."
She stood up and walked into the aisle. She looked at the passengers as she did and noticed how she couldn't really focus on any one of them. She stood and looked back up the aisle, "Wait.... weren't these seats a deeper red...."
She watched as they slowly changed colour. Hardly noticeable if she hadn't been focusing on them. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. She was asleep.... She looked this way and that. She wanted to wake up... But she couldn't and this spirit wasn't going to let her right now... She looked at the ground, "Fine... I'll sleep....."
~~~~~~~~
Narsica looked at the girl then looked back at her book. She nodded, "Sisters. Skye has been running from them. We hadn't actually expected to find her with another team of people."

She glanced at the door and watched as a bird flew in. She watched it as it landed on the banister and looked around the room. She could only assume that it wasn't an actual hawk. But what it a person or a spirit. She pursed her lips and spoke under her breath to Maria, "We have company...."

She wrote in her book and flicked her wrist. Words glowed in the air as she set another protection charm before they disappeared. She stood on her feet and stared at the door, preparing, "You can only use one spirit can't you?"

Though anxious to get to where they needed to go, Trex kept a close eye on Flynn, making sure he didn’t overdue it driving. Thankfully, he did pretty well, probably due to the crowded streets. Hargeon was fairly busy this time of year. Combined with the fact that there was a large competition tomorrow for Celestial wizards, it meant the streets were extra crowded and they had to be careful to avoid hurting someone.

However, despite the delay, they made decent time and were soon a short distance from what looked to be an abandoned building. Trex smiled at Flynn’s observation. Yup. This would make battling a whole lot easier. As they came to a stop, he climbed out and looked at the two Pegasus wizards. “What’s your magic again?” He inquired of Chris.
“Arial magic.” The young man replied. “I use wind and air spells.” He cracked his knuckles, ready for a fight.

Trex looked back at Flynn. Caelum wizards. Ever since they showed up they had been nothing but trouble. He knew that Ryzo couldn’t be trusted. What Zelia saw in him was beyond him. Especially considering the fact Caelum wizards were here proved that Ryzo was behind her falling asleep. He frowned when he heard there was a protective spell on the ground. Then he smiled. “Well, there is nothing like parts of the roof caving in to draw them out.” He stated.

“You sure this place is not owned by someone?” Chris asked. “We can get into a lot of trouble damaging someone else’s property. If Amber goes to jail her contracts are void.”

Trex looked at the building. Paint was peeling off. Boards were warped. Weeds grew over the yard. Spotting the condemned sign he smiled. “Yup. No problem. This place is condemned. We will just be making their work easier. But to contain it, you and Amber go on the other side and make sure nobody comes out the back way.”
The Pegasus wizard nodded. “Alright. Come on Amber.”

“Good luck.” Amber called before going after him. Spotting Aerok she met up with him and spoke to him.

Inside the building Maria quickly stood at Narsica’s warning. “Yes” She replied slightly annoyed. Of course she could only handle on spirit. Even if she could pull out two initially, considering that Twila was some distance away would have made it impossible. At least at her strength level. “I can always pull Twila back but I doubt that Ryzo will be pleased with that.” She stated. Where were they anyway? Shouldn’t they be the ones ambushing the Fairy Tail wizards instead of vice versa? Perhaps it was only one or two wizards they were up against.

“How good is your magic?” She shot out. “Wouldn’t your protective spells make it impossible for someone to enter?” In all honesty she wasn’t sure what Narsica’s magic did. Narsica was Tye’s trainee, Maria was Ryzo’s. Before coming to Fiore they rarely ever saw each other. This would probably be the first time they would fight side by side.
The roof creaked and part of it started to fall. Outside Trex smiled as he snapped a few more support beams and sent them down on where Flynn had told him the wizards had been sitting. “Let the party begin.” He said grimly.
~~~~
Draught! How did this girl figure it out again? Twila frowned getting a bit annoyed. Was she losing her touch? As she had been forbidden to come into others dreams without orders from her mistress, she wasn’t able to do much. But it was worth it. Having Floren’s key fall into another wizard’s hand instead of her mistress’s was worth getting punished. The other celestial wizard had seemed nice, and Floren did ask nicely.
Turning her attention back to the girl. Technically, she could make the young woman extremely busy, but that would require turning the nice dream into a nightmare. Waving her hand, she made everything disappear, placing clouds all around the young woman. If she was going to wonder, let it wonder in a sea of clouds. She would never find Twila and it was better than a nightmare.
Flynn called Orian back to him as he told Trex where the girl's were sitting. He grabbed his keys and looked at them for a moment. Orian was a good fighter but they didn't know what this celestial wizard could do. Without even thinking, he opened Pisces gate and smiled as the three spirits stood before him with what seemed to be no problem. He nodded his head at them, "Prepare yourselves.... I don't think this is going to be easy."
Narsica looked up at the roof as it started to fall. She growled and grabbed the girl next to her and dragged her to the other side of the room, "It will... but if they will have the upper hand if we go out there. My magic is more strategic than anything. I can protect and fight but it is best used for communication during fights and battles or ambushes.... Not as good on the other side."
She watched as more of the roof began to fall, "We'll have to go. We have hardly any choices at this point."
She began scribbling in her book and the back of the barn gave way, allowing them to leave. She could only assume that the wizards were out front. Narsica looked at Maria, "Do your best to keep your spirit in the girl's mind... But if there are too many... Ryzo and Tye would be happier we fought and allowed the girl to awake verse the fact that we got caught by the Fairy Tail group."
Orian flew down and grabbed Narsica's hair, causing her to yelp. Flynn looked at Trex around the back. The one without the book is the celestial wizard. Best we aim for her and she should hopefully have to take her spirit out of Zelia's head."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zelia gasped as the train around her melted into clouds. This was a dream and she really should expect anything but she was still surprised that the spirit chose clouds. Zelia flew between the clouds, half looking for the spirit, half looking around in wonder. She looked down to see the ground below her. Flying... She always thought of falling when she flew. She felt herself lower slightly at the thought. If this was what the spirit wanted her to see, she was going to allow her to steer her dreams. Maybe if she did, she could find her. She didn't want to fight this spirit but if she had to, she was going to. If that was what it took to wake up. She continued to call out to the spirit, "Hello... Spirit...."

Maria scowled but any protest quickly faded as they narrowly avoided getting hit. She nodded as Narsica mentioned keeping the spirit in Zelia's head. She would do her best. But to avoid being captured she will pull back her spirit. "You know," She said as they headed toward the opening at the back of the building. "We can stall them for time by talking. Technically, Ryzo told them we don't want to fight. They might not realize we put their precious wizard to sleep"

Exiting the building she froze. Standing in the way was an enormous boar-like man. He was enormous. Spotting them he roared at them. Turning to Narsica she noticed her compatriot was dealing with a hawk.

"Well, well. Let's get this over with." A young man said stepping forward. His jacket indicated he was with the Pegasus guild. He nodded to a brunette next to him. "What do you think? Is she the celestial wizard?"

The brunette shrugged. "Not sure. But either way she'll need to be dealt with. Aerok." The large beast roared again and headed toward Maria.

"Wait a minute." Maria stepped back slightly confused. Weren't they battling the Fairy Tail wizards? Quickly recovering she looked at Narsica. "Got any teleportation magic?" She asked. Where was Zen when you needed him?

Nodding at Flynn, Trex quickly ran around back. Spotting them, he frowned as he noticed only two. Where was the rest of the Caelum wizards. He paled. Did they go after Zelia? He shook his head. There was no way they could find her. But just in case, they needed to finish this up quickly.
~~~~~
Keeping clouds as a main focus was child's play. It gave Twila more time to focus on other things. Sighing she looked up once again as the young woman called out. Why couldn't she just be like anyone else in a dream? A slight disturbance caused her to stand up sharply. Something was going on with her mistress. There had been a slight change in the energy. Spirits of the color keys were extra sensitive to their wizard, especially when their gates were open. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was not. In this case, it wasn't. She knew there was trouble but she had to remain here. Though she would rather flee from a fight she was bound to protect her wizard at all cost. Leo had been banished when he had failed his wizard and that was something she hoped would never happen to her. But still... she had to obey.
Closing her eyes at yet another call from the young woman she returned her attention to the girl. Curiosity was a weakness of hers and despite the fact she was reclusive and shy this calling was getting on her nerves. Perhaps another diversion. But this time, with a fact finding mission. Sure, she could probably drag up the memories but digging through and getting the full story took time. And having someone call out to you every few seconds didn't help.
Pulling out the image of the barmaid from the young woman's guild, she sent her into the clouds. "Why do you and..." She pulled his name from her mind. "Trex, keep your feelings from each other?" She had the image ask. Though some dream characters could go off, using the memories from the host, Twila kept full control on this one. Everything she said would be determined by Twila. "You seem to like him and he likes you, or so you think, but neither does anything about it. Why?" The clouds faded into the Fairy Tail guild hall and the barmaid, leaned against the counter looking at Zelia.
Narsica tossed the bird away to see it transform into a human and prevent any escape from that direction. She looked in the other two see two other spirits, a male and female, blocking their way. Not to long after them the Fairy Tail wizards appeared. Narsica looked at Maria and shook her head, "Sadly, no," she spoke in a low voice, "I'm far better at protection than I am fighting.... I think Tye didn't think they would even find us...... How did they even find us."
Flynn stepped between the mother-son duo that made up Pisces and crossed his arms, "I think.... you've lost. I suggest you take your spirit out of our friends head before we have to make you," he flinched, "That sounded harsh... I just mean that we'll overwhelm you to the point that you'll have no choice."
Narsica looked at the boy, "You aren't too good at the bad guy thing are you?"
Flynn shook his head, "No, I'm normally good cop... But this guy," he pointed at Trex, "Plays a mean bad cop... But he doesn't have to get involved."
Narsica held her eye contact with Flynn, not even glancing at Trex, "Well.... I can say that we can't do what you ask... because we haven't a clue what you are talking about."
Flynn smirked at her, "Orian can trace magic that is untraceable to the human eyes, like teleportation... Or spirits. He can find the link and he did... and he brought us here. We know you've been messing with our dreams and we know now that you are putting our friend to sleep."
Narsica looked at Maria and whispered, "Well that plan didn't work."
~~~~
Zelia wasn't to surprised by Mary-Jane's arrival, it was a dream after all but she was slightly thrown back by what she asked. Zelia blinked a few times her mind racing. She shook her head, "I... We.... We... We can't.... It isn't just us anymore... If something happens Team Trex breaks up.... not just Zelia and Trex... That isn't fair to Flynn and Skye..."

She closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them again, she was sitting in the guild on a stool. Mary-Jane was looking at her, quizzically. She bit her lip as she looked back at her. She sighed, "Besides... He probably doesn't like me... And I should just get over it... I mean it can't happen even if he did and he doesn't, so I can't and won't and don't... I don't like him... He's.... He's just a friend... a really great friend.... That's all."

Zelia couldn't stop herself from stammering. She didn't know why it was so difficult to voice any of this. It had run through her head from time to time but she had rarely spoken of it. She shut her eyes again, "I don't like Trex...."

Maria cursed their luck. So much for that plan. Then she smiled. Stepping forward she stared at the kid. "Back off." She ordered. "Twila has complete control of all dreams. Even if I pull her out, she could make it where your friend will never waken again. Just forever be lost." She smirked and crossed her arms. "If you strike us, she'll know. And she knows my command to lock your friend away forever if one hair of our heads is touched."

Amber stepped forward. "She can't do that. Can see?" She asked looking at Aerok.

The large spirit nodded. "Though I've never met the spirit she is one of the color spirits. I believe she has that power."

Maria laughed. "So back off or she's done for. Let us walk away."

Trex stepped forward, face like stone. "This is how it's going to work." He declared, tone dark. "You let her go. Otherwise, we deal with you."

Maria lifted an eyebrow. "And your friend gets trapped."

"Until you're dead." Trex replied coldly. Amber and Chris looked over at him surprised at his coldness. Cracking his knuckles, Trex took another step forward. "So you trap her. She's already trapped. We kill you, take your keys and Flynn here can make a contract with this spirit and order her to release Zelia. Easy as that."

Maria glanced at Narsica. They were outnumbered. Technically she could force Twila to trap their friend but the wizard was right. Once she was died, there was nothing binding Twila to her and another celestial could order her to release the trap. Seeing no alternative, she glanced back at the wizards. "And if we let her go, you'll leave us be?" She inquired.

Trex nodded. "If you can prove it."

Not daring to meet Narsica's eyes, Maria nodded. "We don't have a choice." She whispered. She held up her key. "Twila, come here." She demanded.

Humans were very interesting. The internal battles they fight over something like this. Though most spirits found partners, Twila normally avoided it. She had some friends but she was way to reclusive for anything to go anywhere. But even then, why would she lie to herself? However, before she could really delve farther into the subject, she heard the summons. Of course. With a sigh, she waved her hands making the dreams disappear. Perhaps another. As she exited, she glanced back briefly. She never did get to ask about the celestial wizard...

Skye sat on a chair, sword across her lap sharping the blade. Seeing Zelia stir, she quickly put her sword away and came over to her. "You're awake." She stated. "The others must have found who was behind it." She put a hand out to stop Zelia from getting up. "Trex said you should not jump in hastily." She said a bit nervous. She didn't want to be the one at the end of either one's wrath.

Flynn swallowed at the woman's threat. She was right, she could just trap Zelia, keep her asleep forever. The spirit might not even have to remain in her head. He was about to back down slightly when Trex stepped in as the aforementioned bad cop. Now, despite the fact that he was threatening to kill the girl, Flynn assumed he wouldn't. Trex was a good guy, he would have found some other way to wake Zelia. He had to be bluffing. Then again he really could care just that much for the girl. Flynn smirked, trying to not look surprised by Trex's proposition. He crossed his arm when the celestial wizard seemed to have given in, "Told you he played a fantastic bad cop."

He looked at Trex and nodded his head, they were done here. He didn't close his gates with his spirits just yet. That would wait until they were leaving. Ultimately, Flynn was just happy that by the time they got back to the hotel, Zelia would be awake. He looked back at the wizards and waited for the spirit to arrive proving that Zelia had been released from her sleeping state.
~~~~~
Mary-Jane said nothing more and soon the dream faded away. There was another that only lasted moments before she started to wake. Skye was on top of her the moment she opened her eyes. Asking that she was indeed awake. Zelia nodded, she felt worse than when she woke up in the dream. She started to sit up, looking for the others as well as around the room. Skye held out her hand, telling her to stop and that Trex said that she was not allowed to jump into things after waking up. She looked at the other girl, "He isn't here... The others... are they with him?" She looked out the window, she could only assume that they had gone to find the celestial wizard. It certainly hadn't been herself that had gotten the spirit out of her head. She laid back down and looked at the ceiling. Her entire body was tired. She had never experienced such heaviness after waking up. She felt like her head could hardly focus on one thing.
She looked at Skye, "The others... Are they okay?..." she started to sit up again, "We should go find them, they might need help and Flynn can't go wasting his energy... he has the competition tomorrow," her arms gave out from under her, sending her back onto the pillow. She sighed and covered her face with her hands, "Oh god... I hope they're okay..."
It took less then a few second before the timid spirit appeared. Conscious of all those around, Twila bowed slightly to her mistress. "What is your bidding, Mistress?" She inquired very quietly. Whatever it was, she hoped that they would get on with it. There was way to many people around. Her claws extended. No doubt her mistress wanted her to fight. That would make it easier. She would be to busy to be uncomfortable. From the corner of her eye she spotted the boar and the Pisces. Three spirits. Plus at least two other wizards. This battle was not going to end well. But then again, she would do her best. She had been in worse situations, though losing was always painful.
Maria ignored the spirit for a moment and nodded to Flynn and Trex. She knew her spirit hated crowds and not being able to do anything would make it worse. Enforcing who was in charge was vital to celestial/spirit relationships. Or so she had been told. Besides, she just loved to see others sweat. "There, as you can see, my spirit is no longer in the girl's head. She should be waking up momentarily."
"And if you had her keep her in a slumber just so you could get away." Trex asked, eyes narrowing.
Maria sighed. "Tell them, Twila. And make sure you tell them the truth."
The blue haired spirit turned and faced the enemy wizards. She made no eye contact, and avoided looking at the celestial wizards altogether. "She can wake up anytime." She informed them quietly.
"They can't hear you mumble." Maria said enjoying herself.
Forcing her chin up, Twila stared at the town behind them. "She can wake up anytime." She said, louder. She glanced at Maria. Could she go? Where they going to fight?
Maria glanced at Trex. "Satisfied?"
Looking the spirit over, Trex glanced at Flynn. He was knew more about spirits. Could a spirit lie? At Flynn's nod that she was telling the truth, Trex looked back at Maria and Narsica. "Get out of here." He ordered. "Try this trick again and you won't find us so forgiving."
Maria forced a smile. Holding up the key she paused. Partially to show she wasn't raffled, or pretend to anyway, and partially because it meant Twila got even more nervous. "Close Gate of the Indigo." She ordered. With a flash Twila was gone. Maria looked at the them. "There. We've held our end of the bargain. Can we go?"
Trex nodded for Chris and Amber to move aside, which they did. Giving one more forced smile, Maria kept a close eye on them as she and Narsica moved away.
~~~~
Skye nodded. "Yes. They went to go find whoever was behind this. Flynn said Orian could trace the spirit back to his or her key." She shrugged. "Apparently it worked."

She frowned at how pale Zelia looked. She looked as if she had been up all night instead of sleeping. "The others are fine." She replied. "Amber and Chris from the Pegasus guild went with them." She sat at the edge of the bed. "Don't worry." She bit her lip. It was silly really. She shouldn't have been so concerned. She would have thought growing up on Caelum, especially those last few years, would have eliminated all of that. But no. She was actually beginning to grow attached to her team.

She pushed the thoughts away. "Did the spirit torment you?" She asked quietly.

Flynn's eyebrows knitted together with the interaction between the wizard and her spirit. He could feel anger boiling inside of him. How on earth could she even dare treating her spirit like that. She was clearly uncomfortable and wanted to leave. When Trex looked at him, he nodded at him but keep his eyes on the spirit. He felt bad for her. He decided then that he was going to win that key just to make sure that she didn't get it. He watched them as the two women left. He closed his gates with Pisces and Orian before turning. He looked at Trex, "Let's get back to the hotel. Zelia could be awake. Let's go tell her you threatened to kill someone for her," he snickered and wrapped his arm around his teammate and dragged him back to the car. He climbed in but didn't take the driver's seat. He smiled at Trex, "I don't know if I have enough magic to get us back and I need to be ready to destroy that woman in the competition. She's not going to have the chance to get her hands on any other keys if it is up to me."

He looked back at Amber, "Do you agree? That isn't a way you talk to your spirit. The poor thing was shaking in her boots."
~~~~~~~~
Zelia shook her head slowly when Skye asked if the spirit had tormented her, "No... I was having a good dream... Then I noticed her... or I at least felt her presence, in the back of my head. So I started to look for her.... She showed me my dad but I saw through it pretty quick and asked her to let me wake up," she sighed and adjusted herself, trying to get comfortable on the cheap bed, "Then she made it seem like I was awake... But Trex... it was all just a little off so I remembered what was happening... Then I was in the clouds and flying.... Then Mary-Jane came," her eyes started to droop, "and she asked why I won't tell Trex.... my feeling for him...." her head lulled to the side, "So... tired."
She curled up and closed her eyes. This was unlike the first time. The sleep wasn't a surprise to her and she was able to get comfortable. She yawned a little and drifted back to sleep.
Trex frowned. "We probably don't need to go into detail." He stated gruffly as he got into the car. "I would do it for any of my team." He hooked up to the car. "Though, I have a feeling this won't be the last time they give us trouble." He said starting the vehicle.
Gate now closed and Aerok safely back in the celestial kingdom, Amber climbed in after them. Anger was evident. "I wish we could have given that woman a thrashing. To treat a spirit so harshly." She shook her head. "And then to enjoy her discomfort. How that woman ever got to be a celestial is just wrong. Especially to a timid, cute little spirit like her." She leaned back and crossed her arms. "Tomorrow, she's going down."
"I hate to break it to you two but if it comes to a fight, I have no doubt she'll use that spirit again if she can." Chris stated. "Especially, if you show any sort of sympathy." He looked at the surrounding countryside. "She kind of reminds me of Karen." He said referring to the Pegasus wizard who died those many years ago. He looked at them. "She'll use your sympathies against you."
Amber scowled. "Karen was extreme as well." She agreed. "To bad you can't just take someone else's key. I wonder how she got that key in the first place." She sighed. "You would think there would be more rules regarding celestial wizards and their treatment of spirits." She fingered her three keys. "I hope I don't ever forget my spirits have feelings as well." She stated more quiet. "I wonder if Karen and this woman was always like that or if they started out innocent only to change over time." She looked at Flynn. "Let's not let her even get a chance at winning that competition tomorrow." She declared. "No way will I let another spirit fall into her grasp. Especially if I have the ability to stop her."
~~~
Skye listened as Zelia rattled off a bit sleepily. The admission of feelings for Trex caused Skye to pause. So Flynn had been right a bit on the two having feelings. At least Zelia. She wondered if Trex felt anything for Zelia. She glanced and quickly rose, seeing Zelia was asleep. Was she back under the spell? Breathing a sigh of relief, Skye shook her head. That was a bit of a scare. But no. When she was under due to the spirit she looked different - more of a deep sleep or coma. But now - she looked a lot more peaceful and at rest. Reaching over, Skye pulled the blanket over to cover Zelia.

Then turning, she made her way over to the window. Peering out, she looked out over the street. The hustle and bustle of the crowds were slowing down as the evening set in. No one had seemed interested in the dingy hotel. At least her illusion was still working. Sitting back down, Skye pulled out her sword and continued sharpening. Of course, if the others took to much longer, her magical energy would be depleted and her spells would fall away. Running a massive defensive trap illusion spell combined with one keeping her and Zelia hidden used up a lot of energy.

The good news though was with Zelia back, the others would probably be back soon. That was of course if they hadn't ran into any trouble. She wondered if they were all alright. There had to have been some fight to get the spirit out of Zelia's head. What if one of them got hurt? Pausing, she took a deep breath. They would be fine. There was four wizards and she knew both Trex and Flynn were pretty strong wizards. There was no need to worry...

Flynn looked at the two in the back seat, "Well, it will only help us... fueling our need to beat her. We can sympathize with a spirit and still defeat the wizard. I just hope that she doesn't treat the girl to harshly as a result.... But all I can think about is that there is a spirit who she has no contract with and I'm not going to let her get her hands on it."

He turned back around and looked at his keys as he reattached them to his chain. He thought about who he would bring out tomorrow. He hadn't used Vulpecula and he figured she could be really strong but unless he got a chance to work with her, he wasn't going to risk it. Pisces and Libra were his strongest since they were gold keys. He couldn't see how he was going to fight with Florin but maybe he could talk to him that night and see what his fighting style was like. He should to the same with Vulpecula. That way he could call upon them both at a later date. He leaned back in his seat and waited until they arrived at the hotel. Flynn jumped out and smiled at Trex, "Come on, Zelia should be awake."

He ran inside and up the stairs to their room. He knocked lightly on the door before unlocking it and walking it. He looked at Skye then the sleeping Zelia. His smile faltered for a moment but returned. It was easy to see that she wasn't under some spell anymore. She was just sleeping. He looked at Skye once more, "Has she woken up yet?"

Trex nodded. "You guys go on ahead. I'll drop off the car."

Chris and Amber both exited the vehicle. "We probably should take off." Chris stated. "It's getting late and Amber needs her rest."

"I don't need a sitter." Amber replied though in reality she was a bit drained. Keeping Aerok's gate open from a distance was a bit draining. She looked at the inn. "Tell Flynn best of luck for tomorrow." She said.

Trex nodded and watched the two walk away. It only took him a few minutes to return the car and head back. When he arrived, he was surprised to see that Zelia was still asleep.

She had nearly jumped out of her skin when the door opened. Sword posed, relief came over her as she saw it was just Flynn. "Yes. She woke up briefly." She informed him putting her sword away. "She was a bit out of it but went back to sleep." She frowned. "How did it go? Where is Trex and the others?" She asked, trying to keep concern off her face. Blast it. She couldn't get close to anyone. Not again.

Trex entered right after Flynn finished giving Skye a brief synopsis. "Those lying..." He clenched his fists.

"She's just resting. The spirit isn't keeping her that way." Skye informed him.

"Oh." Trex relaxed a bit. "In that case, we better be quiet." He whispered. He looked at Flynn. "Amber says best of luck. Chris practically dragged her off. Said she needed rest." He looked at the celestial wizard. "Which, goes for you as well. You used up a lot of magic energy. Can't have you drained for tomorrow." He looked around the room. "We'll share the room tonight." He informed them. "That way if anyone else tries to attack, we'll be ready." Though normally they split hotel rooms, there had been a few times when they all slept under the stars together. One night in the same room won't hurt.

He went over and sat on the chair. "I got watch. You two rest." He looked at Flynn. "And don't even think about getting up for any watch. I want you fully prepared for tomorrow."

Flynn looked behind him when Skye asked where the others were, "They were behind me... So I can only assume that Trex is dealing with the car.... and maybe Amber and Chris are helping... I wanted to come and check up on Zelia," he looked at her and laughed a little, "Who would think after sleeping for that long she'd want to go to sleep again."

He turned to look at Trex when he came in. He placed a hand on his shoulder when Trex started to fume. However, Skye beat him to saying that the girl had fallen asleep due to her own free will. He smirked and nodded when he was told to go to bed, "Sure thing, dad..." he looked between Skye and Trex, "Are you two okay with splitting the whole night between you... I mean... I think Trex would kill someone before letting Zelia take watch at all tonight," he winked at his friend for he climbed into the empty bed that was next to the one Zelia was already sleeping in. Flynn smirked at Trex, "Keep in mind, watch doesn't entail staring at Zelia."

He laughed and rolled over in the bed and was out like a light. It seemed with having Orian out at such a distance and then opening the second gate with Pisces left him knackered. He pulled the blanket around him and soon was deep into a slumber.
