Kalinda didn't particularly like using her mother like this, but...she knew she would understand. Hopefully. She nodded, and petted Cooper, stretching. "Well. I guess that's all the planning we need, for now " She said, petting Cooper as the pup wriggled in her lap.

She smiled, letting him down. He immediately started to explore once more.

All her equipment was ready, and what ever else she needed was in her pack. "So, what should we do, for now? If we are going in tomorrow, is there anything else we need to go over? Or should we just...relax?"

Michael frowned in thought, he shrugged. "I don't know we can't exactly go out on the city cause shield made sure of that. We can probably relax here for now, make sure not to strain ourselves in the long run."

He leaned back slightly in the chair, "we got more than enough problems don't know if any of us are going to come out of this unscathed probably not." It was true none of them were guaranteed to come out of this unharmed.

Kalinda just shrugged, although the thought of any of them being seriously injured made her worry, and furious. "SHIELD had a responsibility to protect the people. They havent done that for a long time. Fury, at the least, needs to be removed. If we can do it, then we have to. Injury is always likely on a mission. We just have to take precautions"

She fell silent, and looked down at her hands. She sighed softly, and then rose, "lets see what fun we can have for a few hours" she started to grab dishes, to tidy up before Cooper decided to explore the left overs

Michael sighed slightly then nodding, frowning some he thought. "Alright zach lets see whose worthy to weild the hammer," a small smile came to the asgardians lips as he set the hammer down on the coffee table. "Its a wonder how that thing doesnt break something that it gets set on."

He watched as conner went up, pulling it though it didnt budge an inch. "Nice try buddy nice try," he knew zach could weild it. "I guess ill go,last on this i rather see what happens here." He leaned back in the chair to watch.

Kalinda shook her head. She knew the draw of wanting to hold the hammer, but knew she wasn't worthy of its power. How could she be? She took the plates to the kitchen, returning to see Connor try and fail. She nudged Tori, knowing that despite everything, she was too shy to go up and try without a little push.

Tori glanced to her, before rising. It always surprised Kalinda that Tori could be so passive, so shy. But supposed that was just her nature. Tori seemed almost scared of the hammer as she went to try

Michael had his arms crossed, watching as tori approached the hammer. Once she was in front of it he saw her swallow before grabbing the handle and pulling. To no avail the hammer didnt budge from its spot, he looked to hannah who shook her head.

Once he saw tori sit back down, he got up himself approaching it. To him the hammer was like judgement. He let out a breath, his hands shaking a little though no one caught it maybe kali did he didnt know.

Wrapping his hands around the rough leather, his father had. Tried and failed to lift it. Though he knew multiple reasons why he was unworthy to weild such a weapon. With that he pulled, his jaw clenching and muscles tensing just before the hammer rose a few inches before going back down onto the table.

He had felt it move, not much but some though just by doing that it took a great deal of weigiht off his shoulders, knowing even with the teammates he had gotten killed he was still worthy to be who he was a hero.

Kalinda watched, seeing that Michael was nervous as he approached, and she knew he was thinking of the team mates he had lost. She wanted to rise, and to wrap him in a hug, of affection and reassurance, but she didn't as he gripped the hammer, and almost seemed to prepare himself.

She watched as it rose, watched as worry seemed to fade away, if only slightly. She smiled slightly.

She denied the opportunity to try, shakin her head. Kalinda didn't wish to try. After all, how could one be worthy when the wish to kill was in your heart? She wanted Fury to pay, for everything and revenge didn't seem like a worthy trait.

"The hammer isn't heavy" she said softly, "more, I think, it's our doubts, fears, and opinions of ourselves that make it heavy" she shrugged "well that was enlightening"

Michael shrugged before nodding to kalindas words. Though he frowned looking to zach conner and tori who seemed to nod as he met their gazes. "Alright hannah and kalinda we were wondering whose the better shot you were trained by the legend black widow kali which means your aim is great and hannah was trained by hawk eye."

He stopped g as ghering his thoughts, "we were wondering if we could watch a shooting contest to see who would be the better shot its been bugging up for awhile." he gave a small smile, after the sentence was finished some of the stuff that was holding him down had let go of him some not all the way though.

Kalinda gave a laugh "I expect that Hannah might be better. It's been a couple of years since I've practiced with a bow, but why not? I brought all my gear" she rose, to go collect the bow set she had, soon returning, and looking to Hannah

"Shall we?"

Hannah seemed eager, and retrieved her own bow.

Kalinda smiled, "I'd rather not shoot in the living room"

Michael pushed himself toward the fireplace, hitting a few things before the whole wall where the fire place stood lifted. All metal on the inside, he pushed himself inside coming to a desk hitting a few things on the keyboard before the walls shifted.

They shifted and stretched, before finally stapping in a form of a firing range. Once done he hit one more button and bulls eyes set up he frowned slightly at how close they were he moved them back to at least give them a challenge once done, "fire at will."

Kalinda first checked her arrows and bow string, before satisfied, and knocking an arrow. She took five seconds to figure out her position, and aim, drawing in a breath and then she fired on the release. It hit the middle, but so close to the edge of the dot. She just smiled, and fired again, quicker this time, hitting dead centre in the middle this time.

She then stepped back, but Hannah was quicker. She barely seemed to need any time at all, and the arrow flew through the air, hitting Kalinda's arrow in the middle to almost Robin Hood it. A second one shattered the arrow completely.

"Well. I Hannah's better. Two total Bulls eyes" Kalinda said, with amusement. She liked TK shot arrows, but she was better with daggers, knives, guns, and her various tech.

"That was fun. What do we test next?"

Michael rubbed his chin in thought before, hitting some buttons again. The walls shifted making out glass that wouldnt break it was a watching area while a floor below them was covered in metal that couldnt break.

"Alright then conner we might as well see if you can swallow that deal im not going to lose easily." He sighed when zach gave him a confused look. "Connor here thinks he can hold his own against the assassin that i am he even betted so why not?"

With that he started getting suited up in the new attire, it was like a second skin in a way. He kissed kali before parting to the floor below. Hitting the button the main part expanded and went around his head.

Kalinda smied and returned Michael's kiss. Such a simple thing really. A slight touch, a look, a feeling. How she had missed it, these last few years. She went to the watching area with the others, figuring to enjoy the battle.

Connor grabbed his shield, decided not to, this time around, suit up. It was a hassle, and he could fight just as well in what he was wearing then in his suit. Connor watched as Micahel joined him, and gave him an almost rueful smile. "ready?" He asked, shifting into a position that would enable him to act quickly, and respond, whether to attack or defend, his shield on one arm, his other hand clenching and unclenching as if to feel his own strength.

Really, he was just itching to start.

Michael looked at the shield, hopefully practicing fast speeding objects would be able to help him dodge that thing. He really didnt know, looking back to connor before he heard his voice. "Ready whenever you are,"

He didnt know who the team was betting on, but he could almost be certain they were betting between the two men that stood below. Shaking his head a small smile formed on his lips.

Connor smiled, shifting just slightly, he brought his shield up, content for the moment to keep it with him, as he brought one foot back, and then pushed off the ground with all his strength, towards Michael

Kalinda and the others watched. Kalinda stod, studying what was happening so far. It was going to be an interesting match, and she was interested to seewhat would happen

Michael saw Connor coming at him at high speeds. Shifting his weight and feet to be somewhat leaning down. Just before, the shield hit him he trusted his hands out. Pushing himself upward and over. Landing behind Connor and kicking him. "Come on Connor you can do better than that," sarcasm dripped from his voice as he stood there.

He sighed, watching Connor moving into a defensive position he wanted to know what he had up his sleeve and he needed to get him angry if he could then that would be his downfall.

While Connor had seen Michael fight before, it was always different when it was directed at you. So Connor used that first move simply to get a feel for the extent of his abilities, allowing the kick to land, Connor stayed on his feet, turning about to face Michael. "Cockiness can be anyone's downfall, Michael" He said, quite calmly.

He seemed to contemplate for a few seconds, before he attacked again, only this time, Connor was ready for a dodge, or leap like before, ready to twist about and throw Michael back.

Michael shrugged at the statement, "I'm not getting cocky." Seeing the charge, he jumped into the air sailing over Connor though he didn't know the man was ready for it.

Landing on his feet, he was able to turn around watching connor.

Connor thought he timed it just right, to turn about as Michael jumped over him, and using his own momentum, flung his shield, hoping it had been timed kust right so hat as Michael landed the shield would hit. He found it oddly amusing that Michael hadn't considered that Connor would be ready for it, but at the same time, he was ready for Michael to be ready for it, and ready to attack if he was

Michael didn't see it coming, till it was too late. He didn't have time, though it hit his chest, but before it could bounce back he grabbed the shield then threw it to the ground behind him.

His lungs hurt, but he could deal with the pain. He charged quickly though he didn't know if Connor would be ready or not he directed a punch at his face after the punch he sweeped Connors legs out from under him.

Once done, he quickly went for a next punch.
