As well as Sunao Yoshida's novel series Trinity Blood,
With elements similar to Kouta Hirano's manga-turned-OVA Hellsing,
In homage to Sega's hit arcade series House of the Dead,
A nod to White Wolf's roleplaying game Vampire: The Masquerade,
And a special thanks to Roleplayer Guild for providing a new home,
Team Seo presents,
Ages ago, the ever-changing world—The Realm, was created by powerful forces that blessed its inhabitants with the gift of reincarnation. While Death reigned supreme as the End of all things, Life forever prevailed as the inevitable beginning. Through time, the people evolved as much as their world. Life flourished through ingenuity, quickly escalating into an age of technology and scientific brilliance. And as eras passed, the fear of the Death—the fear of the End had become a fleeting nightmare, a time when Life was once a slave to oblivion.
Then one day, the Dead began to walk.
One day, the Dead began to feed on the living.
One day, the blessing of reincarnation was taken away.
On that day, Death reigned once more.
It was said that behind the brilliance of the Realm's conception was a group of deities called the Sacred Six. And through the generations, their essence has passed down several different bloodlines through Reincarnation. When a person in the Realm is born as the reincarnation of one of the Six, he or she has the right to rule along with the other reincarnated five. Their term as sovereigns lasts as long as their natural lifespans, until the Six reincarnate once more. Naturally, the Realm would be made of six nations, each ruled under one deity. But since the Dead began to walk, and with it the inexplicable disappearance of rebirth, only three kingdoms remain with a ruler, with the others lost to chaos.
With the impotence of reincarnated gods, and with civilization on the brink of collapse, the Realm is at the mercy of relentless waves of the cannibalistic deceased.
Could this be the END?
{{ Major Figures }}
- The Holy Alliance of the True Reincarnates — or simply known as The Alliance, is a coalition of the six most powerful nations in the Realm, each ruled by a deity of the Sacred Six. They are the most technologically advanced nation with an excellent economic standing. Among the fallen are kingdoms Prudentia, Temperantia, and Fortitudo. Only Fides, Spes, and Iustitia remain standing against the walking dead.
- The Dead – Any human corpse that reanimates into a walking cadaver that feeds on the flesh of the living, [i]most of the time turning the bitten victim into one of them. They are a mysterious threat that has become less of a contamination and more of a full-blown catastrophic menace with little known facts. Those who are well informed know that there are clear indications that they display disturbing signs of organization, but the people who were closest to unveiling a puppet master are recently deceased or unaccounted for.
- OBS-CURE— One of the Realm’s largest and leading private military contractors, recently employed by the Alliance. Due to tremendous losses during the initial waves of the Dead, The Alliance has left most of the extermination and overall security detail in the hands of OBS-CURE.
- Children of Reincarnation—A last-standing alliance of citizens, nobles, and loyal military that dedicate themselves to exterminating the walking dead and to ultimately persevere through the terrifying invasion.
{{Setting}}
The Realm is magic and tech savvy, which has given rise to marvelous architecture, state of the art nature-proof buildings, extraordinary forms of entertainment, cost-efficient forms of transportation and communication, but most importantly of all: advancement in warfare.
{{Character Generation and Development}}
You are given a large range to work with when creating characters. The only faction that is absolutely off limits is the Dead and the Sacred Six. Though I’m assuming y’all here would likely gun for OBS-CURE, I thought I should also pitch in a few ideas for character archetypes and concepts for other factions:
- Nobility- This is referring to family bloodlines within any country of the Alliance that has given birth to a reincarnated deity at least once. The process of how a family line is chosen for this honor is unknown. However, nobility is retained, even if the deity reincarnates into another bloodline.
- Competitive Agents Chaos- Mass hysteria has given new incentive to deviants and criminals. A power struggle is on the rise if even the Sacred Six have lost their ability to reincarnate. Dare you compete in the cesspool of these scum?
- Religious Fervor- Though the Alliance has no official religion, the most prominent faith-based faction is a network of eschatologists that believe the end has arrived. Believing that reincarnation was taken away as a sign of judgement, they go about slaughtering anyone they believe is guilty of living a non-virtuous lifestyle...at least by standards of their "Vengeful God."
etc.; get creative, we're not putting severe limitations on characters so long as you can make it interesting and reasonable.

We're not too concerned about length, but more so on detail and content. Just put some effort into these posts. Help contribute to the story and everything will be fine and dandy so long as nobody goes off on incomprehensible tangents.
The GM/DM has total control. Avoid off-base in character actions or things that diverge from the story or something that disrupts the flow. If you feel someone's messing around in character or not contributing or has posted something that clearly doesn't give regards to the posts before, let us know.
In order to participate in this roleplay, all applicants must submit original characters via PM for approval.
If writer's block is that bad, or if you're stuck, contact us for help. We'd love to discuss how your character can become a super hip and cool badass in the roleplay. No seriously, if that's your thing, we might be able to work things out and make it more enjoyable for everyone.
If you must quit the roleplay for any reason, you then forfeit your character to us. Side effects may include death, mutilation, and lesbian smut—certainly not in that order, though.
Blatant and frequent violation of the rules will result in me having a very lousy day.
Due to the presence of intense sci-fi and fantasy action sequences, especially zombie horror and violence, mild sexual themes and language, this roleplay should be considered for mature participants and audiences only.
