"I guess it's all we have on floor one, I guess." Pebbely looked forward. "I think we got around seven wolves up ahead?"

Sakura and Kayo didn't speak while they ate. Kayo sat stiffly and awkwardly. She could tell right away that Sakura was in a deep thought. She always got really quiet when she was thinking. After they finished eating, Sakura stood up.
“Excited Sakura?”Kayo giggled. She could tell Sakura was excited to get a pet. She had studied all beast tamers before they started playing this cruel game.
Sakura nodded and they started walking to the field nearby the small town
The air got chilly as they arrived in the fields. They could see three players talking to each other up ahead. Sakura tensed and stopped walking. Her eyes never leaving them.. Sakura never told Kayo but Kayo knew she was terrified of clashing with other players. The players couldn't see them because of Kayo’s great hiding skill but they wouldn't stand there forever.
“Sakura? Are you alright?” She asked innocently.

[Vindle]

Kagetane looked ahead.
"Yup, looks like good exp. to me." Kagetane said, running quite fast towards the wolves with his sword.

[HollywoodMole]

"Hopefully!" Pebbely raised his sword, before dashing towards the wolves, a couple of metres away from Kagetane.

[Vindle]

It took a little bit, but Kagetane managed to take down three wolves. He left the other three for Pebbely and the seventh for whoever.

Sakura stared at the players. From her position she could see their health was really low. She sighed in relief. They couldn’t try and fight them even if they wanted to.
“Sakura? Are you alright? Kayo asked her.
She looked back at Kayo. She had completely forgotten about her. Now she was making her sister worry, great.
“Sorry, Kayo. I’m fine. Let’s just go. Let’s not talk to them unless they say something. Again, I’m sorry Kayo..” She looked down at her feet. Why was she so afraid of talking to another player now? She was fine before Kayaba Akihiko had made that disgusting speech. That had changed everything. Kayo was still looking at her with worry. I really can’t cause her to worry more than she has to already Sakura thought.
“Really, Kayo. I’m fine.” Sakura smiled cheerfully “We have a wolf to tame! We better hurry!.”

Pebbely dashed on a wolf, he was able to take them out easily with one or two slices because of the momentum from his speed. On the last wolf he got caught on the cheek while slashing through it. Pebbely expected pain, but all he could feel was a numbness. It felt far more mortifying then pain ever would.

Kayo couldn’t tell if Sakura was really okay or just faking. She decided to forget about it, if Sakura really didn’t want to talk about it then she wouldn’t pressure her. Kayo looked at the people ahead. She was happy to see other players. Ever since the game creator told them it was all real, Sakura went straight to a desolate area to hunt and later to a small town far from the Town of Beginnings. Sakura wasn’t a beta tester but she had read up a lot about the game. She didn’t know much, but she knew more than a lot of people did. She nodded at Sakura.
“Okay, let’s go! I want to level up really bad too!”
Together they made their way toward the field, and the three players. Kayo wouldn’t talk to them, for Sakura’s sake, but she desperately hoped they would talk to them.

A wolf came up behind Kagetane. Kagetane tried to move out of the way but the wolf's teeth scraped across his arm. In two slices, he defeated the wolf.
"There's more here than those seven." he said.

"Don't you feel odd? Like, wouldn't you expect pain when they hurt you? It just seems, odd..." Pebbely recollected himself, before jumping up and raising his rapier.

[Vindle]

"No matter how real this may seem, it's a game. I'd be more surprised if we really did feel pain." Kagetane said, slicing wolves as they came.

[HollywoodMole]

"That seems a bit... huh." Pebbely mainly blocked the shots from the wolves, as well as avoiding them. He wanted to keep some alive for others, while still having enough for himself.

[Vindle]

Kagetane sliced some more wolves, before saying; "Alright, I'm going to take a little break."

[HollywoodMole]

"Ready for... those rooms... now?!" Pebbely slashed through a couple of wolves, at this point he didn't care.

[Vindle]

"Yeah, I guess we should head back now." Kagetane said. Another wolf came up behind him but he was able to kill it.

[HollywoodMole]

"Ok...kay.... Jesus..." Pebbely stabbed a wolf before sheathing his sword. "Let's go!" Pebbely slowly wobbled towards the entrance.

[Grey]

Yukimura shot Lily a look that essentially said 'what the hell are you doing?' without the young man having to say it himself. The white-haired player pulled his hand away and turned to their new 'friend' (hopefully). "You'd definitely be right about that," he nodded in understanding, "but that just means the people who've gotten as far as we have are just that much better. Can't blame me for trying to be cautious." After seeing Rath unequip his weapon of choice, Yukimura drew his... but stabbed it into the ground beside Lily. "Unfortunately, I'm not willing to relinquish my weapon, but that'll have to do," the swordsman explained with a casual shrug, before approaching Rath and shaking the latter's hand, "I go by <<Ikusaba>>. It's a pleasure."

Dropping his hand to his side, Yukimura looked around as if something had caught his attention. "Anyone else notice the two players nearby?" he asked bluntly, intentionally raising the volume of his voice in order to tip off the two players in question.

Sakura’s body was covered in goose bumps. She heard one of the boys asking about Kayo and her. She knew Kayo wanted to talk them desperately but Sakura didn’t think she could handle it. Instead, Sakura simply waved and continued walking toward the group of wolves up ahead. She hoped they wouldn’t question further. She heard Kayo moan in disappointment. Sakura apologized under her breath.

"I think we got pretty far today in terms of exp." Kagetane said. He heard someone raise their voice, though decided to ignore it. True more friends may be helpful, but he didn't feel like approaching anyone. Not that he ever had anyway.

[HollywoodMole]

"Yeah... okay..." Pebbley walked towards the Town Of Beginnings. "Let's do something else before the rooms, what do they have here?"
