Probably, seeing as it has been with you since birth, it's just normal.

But sometimes I just find myself thinking of how I have this weird little hole in the center of my abdomen and it is kind of strange.

Ironically enough my bellybutton is cut in half by a large surgical scar, the way in which it is stitched back together makes it practically non-existent.

Try a week or two after birth, as after the umbilical cord is cut, you have to wait that long for the rest of it what is attached to the baby to dry out, shrivel up, and fall off.
