Would anyone be interested in playing The Regiment, a free apocalypse world hack. For anyone who doesn't know what Apocalypse World is, it is a narrative focused tabletop rpg. It focuses on the story more than the mechanics. When a player wishes to do something, they choose a move that most closely fits the situation. For example, if someone wishes to leap across a large pit, they would use "Do something under fire" (the fire being the risk of falling) and roll 2d6+Cool stat. On a 10+, they succeed and do exactly what they want. On a 7-9, they partially suceed, but the GM may have a worse outcome occur, or force them to make a tough choice (such as needing to leave behind their heavy machine gun to make it safely). On a 6 or less, they fail, and the GM makes a hard move.
The Regiment changes the game to the Second World War and instead of apocalypse survivors, the players takes roles such as The Soldier, The Commando, The Medic, etc. The character's moves are changed, and several new mechanics are introduced such as Volume of Fire and Stress.
