Insane Asylum + Super Powers/Mutants??

I just had an idea for a twist on the typical Superhero Genre. It's mostly just an idea floating around right now but the premise is all the characters are existing Asylum patients. The doctor of the facility has been testing on certain patients and these patients are developing powers/mutations.

Again, it's pretty much a concept right now but, everyone would get the chance to develop their persons power from the beginning, meaning no one will start out super powerful. Also, whatever mental disorder they may have may or may not counteract with the use of their powers.

The evil doctor would eventually become the "Big Bad".

Oh, yeah - just wondering XD - where will the RP be set? Is this asylum quite isolated or in the middle of a city, e.g?

Its kind of on the outskirts of town, just where kind of the "countryside" begins.

I want is based in the US, near a major city. But, no state/city has been set in stone yet.

It will be present day... Maybe a few years in the past. Definitely not future.

I am central time, and also next Thursday I will be leaving to go out east and I won't be back until the third of July. So basically, I will have no wi-fi to do anything. Also I have a family event that's going to happen on the fourth of July too.
