Edward huffed "Why not warn him not me if you don't care." he growled. He though sighed when the hunters were behind them. He growled. Why couldn't damn humans just leave him be.
He wasn't impressed when she took the gun shot for him, he thought it was rather stupid on her part, He ended up having to follow her into the alley way.
He glared at her for a moment. "Some tough girl you are." He growled quietly.

"Oh I'm sorry, you must forgive me for being unintentionally born only a weak human" Kyla spat at the boy before peeking around the corner, aiming her gun and firing two shots that got one man and scared away the other. once it was clear she got up and limped around the alleyway, kicking down her makeshift house and gathering her hand full of items. Kyla had decided that she would leave, even in her condition she didn't want to be around those hunters or this brat of a by any longer
"Consider getting rid of those guys my last bit of help to you, and by the way welcome to my home, now I have to leave to find a new one thanks to you" She guested around the dump before turning and limping away. Blood left a trail behind her and her skin was looking pale, though to determined and stubborn to show weakness in front of Edward she kept strong and kept going.

"I want to go home, " Edward felt really ill, he was shaking "And come with me, not that I care or anything," he rolled his eyes, deep down maybe he felt sorry for the way she lived. "William will be angry if I let you carry on living this way after saving us."
He was very tired and in pain. He wasn't going to be nice to her. At least not yet. Edward was still a very complicated person, he coughed weakly and moaned from pain.
He was cranky that hunters had bested him when he was a dragon.

Kyla stopped for a moment when Edward offered to take her home with him, turning back with a skeptical and confused look "Did you really just say that? Wow I guess even the Arrogant brat is capable of feeling something or the lowest class" She frowned yet her voice wasn't as harsh as it was before.
"We can't return to your place just yet, they will still be there waiting, give it a day or so but until then we can stay here" She told him and limped over to her makeshift home, setting it back up again with ease "You being as fragile as you appear to be can sleep inside on the mattress for the night and rest more, I will stay outside on guard" Kyla said as she told him what to do, though she wouldn't pass up an chance to get off the streets.
Kyla then went into her bag and brought out a small medical kit that she had saved up for, grabbing tweezers and a knife then sitting on the ground rather shakily. The red head cut away at her pants around the wounds, then took the deepest breath she could before sticking the tweezers into one of the bullet wounds and digging around to try and remove the bullet. The pain was clear on her face as she groaned, feeling like she was going to vomit and pass out from the pain though again she refused to look weak in front of Edward.

"Brilliant, and my mother she was out, hope she stays safe and Will bit on of them, they should be dead soon." He growled. Edward went and lay down he was feeling miserable, his body was shaking, he was stuck sleeping in some horrible alleyway. He couldn't live this way, he hoped it was only for a few nights.
Edward was shaking more, he coughed and was barely able to relax. He wanted to kill ever signal last hunter for this. He wasn't going to cope being out here.

Few days later Edward was feeling worse, he wanted to go home, he was uncomfortable and scared for his mother, he had bee crying and his body ached. He wanted his own bed.
He didn't like sleeping in the alley.

In he few days that they had been hiding in the ally way Kyna had done what she could to make Edward more comfortable, using all the money she had saved to get him a blanket and food. She how ever continued to sit outside her makeshift home in the alleyway, weak from blood lose as she had only just managed to stop it and probably getting an infection too, plus she was working herself on low energy and lack of sleep to keep the kid as warm as possible, even giving him her hat .
"Damn rich boy, getting worse just from a few broken ribs" She scoffed under her voice as she sat in the rain that had finally come, Gun in her hand still and stomach grumbling "He would never survive this life" She sighed knowing she had to get him home soon.
Getting up she limped over to the leaking cardboard and moth eaten sheets home and opened it up to the kid inside, her face pale against the darkness created by the rain clouds "Come on I think it's safe to return you home" She told him "Got enough energy to go the distance? Or do I have to carry you again?"

Edward slowly and shakily gets to his feet "You need medicine and food too," he said with an emotionless look, he attempted to walk, It was hard but he was managing, he knew he needed more medicine too. "I already had a fever before those idiots came after me is why, I'm fragile and cant take sleeping outside ," he grumbled.
He hoped that his troubles were over for now, at least so he could heal, and then he was going to deal with the rest of those men, he didn't feel like letting them live, he was a dragon after all, and dragons very rarely showed mercy, get on the wrong side of them and you were dead.
His limbs were shaking but he wanted to walk on his own.

Will was already heading back, he was hoping it was safe, he was hoping his idoit brother was safe. He had found his mother and kept her safe and away from the house. She had been worrying about her eldest son as well, worried he had gone missing like his father.
"He'll be fine mother, hes an idoit but he'll be fine."

"I'm fine, I've been through worse, and hunger isn't an issue to me" Kyla told him as she gathered the blanket and anything else she could scavenge, her weary eyes showing the truth behind her words "My first concern is you, you are actually wanted and loved by someone" She muttered as she started to walk. Kyla made sure to stay far enough to let Edward walk on his own, though close enough to catch him if he suddenly fell "And you weren't outside, you were in the best shelter I could make" She shrugged.

Kyla knew she needed medicine, food and rest but she was being as stubborn as Edward was, that and she was tougher than him when it came to being harmed and hungry like this. Though she had lost a lot of blood and the cold and wet was getting to her since she had given up her shelter. the rages tied around all her bullet wounds were dry and crusted with blood and the graze on her cheek deep and clearly visible.
"It shouldn't take to long to get back to your place, it was never far in the first place" She told Edward as the redhead walked in front and peeked out of the alleyway before motioning him to follow.

Edward was very pale when he got back to the house "Well there food and medicine and I'm not giving you a choice!" He snapped. He goes to the front door and he unlocks it. He so far hadn't thanked her for looking after him, his fever was making him cranky. He also knew letting her live with him seemed good enough.
He coughed and literally had to run to the bathroom. He threw up in the toilet.

Will was already inside "Edward?" He questioned. He sounded worried, But he looked at Kyla. "MMm I'll get you food and stuff," He nodded a bit and looked at her.

Kyla sighed as she looked towards her wounded body, though shrugged and glanced to Will "Don't bother kid it's nothing but a few bullet wounds, I've had worse and it is your brother who needs help" She told him. Even as she said this though she could feel herself swaying but refused to give in yet.
"I have done what I can to look after him, even used up all the money I had scavenged now I think it is time you get him to bed" She suggested to the younger brother, moving to a nearby chair and collapsing into it with a groan "I'll be fine" She reassured Will.

Will looked at her "You need food, I can hear your stomach." He shakes his head, he gets her some sandwiches and medicine. "Seriously you'll get an infection if haven't already." He then walked off after giving her them and goes and looks after his brother. He is worried when Edward is throwing up.
"Come on to bed brother." He say when his brother is done. He helps him to his bed and gets a bucket. Will looked worried. Edward just sighed weakly and was glad to be in his nice soft bed.

Kyla glanced to the food and medicine before setting them aside after Will left, instead going to her bag and grabbing the knife from it. The redhead then tucked her hair behind her ears and started to remove the rags from around her leg, seeing how bad it had already gotten in both the wounds "Great" She grumbled to herself as she started to cut away more of her pants to expose the wounds even more. Kyla then went to her arm and unwrapped it, seeing that it to was infected though thinking about it her alley way wasn't the cleanest in the city.
Leaning back in the chair heavily Kyla glanced over to the food next to her, somehow unable to bring herself to eat it or use the medicine. Like Edward she wasn't use to help, though unlike him it was because no one cared about the poor and he was a spoilt rich brat.

Will comes back after Edward is in bed, he knows that his brother needs to rest. He walked out and sees her injured and he sighed "Really! come on take the medicine and at least make an effort to get better, if you leave it thats not even helping your self and I offered help." he didn't like when his help was turned down in situations like this.
"the medic won't be pleased if I call him and he sees that."

Edward was laying in bed under all the covers, thinking of his dad he began crying, He was quite miserable, he had broken down now his brother was out of the room.

"I apologize, just something I'm not use to" Kyla started as she wondered how will would react to her being homeless "Being homeless and all,people just don't care like they shoud" She shrugged with a sigh. Grabbing the medicine Kyla went to apply it to her wounds, wincing from the stinging it created "And I think you may have to call the medic anyway, bullets wounds are tricky to heal and they are already infected, got infected yesterday while sitting in my Alley" She told Will "And please don't freak out about me being homeless" She almost begged him.

Will looked at her, he didn't seem to say anything much in regards to her being homeless "Well stay here then." he offered a small smile and then sighed "Should eat too."
He goes and calls for the medic. "Edward is difficult, I'm sorry he doesn't understand or listen." He seemed to keep apologizing for his brothers behavior.
Edward was trying hard to rest.

"I couldn't stay here, I don't deserve it, I'm homeless for a reason though I don't know what" Kyla shrugged a little as she gazed shyly up to Will, giving the smallest smile to him "And stop apologizing for your brothers actions, they are his not yours" she then told him.
Looking up to the admire the room she was in Kyla wondered what she would even do if she were to stay here, so use to fending for herself and just trying to survive. Sort f feeling like she would become nothing if taken away from the only life she had known.
"I will be here waiting for the medic" She then told Will as Kela closed her eyes to rest, feeling to weary and so beaten though maybe it was the blood lose speaking.

"Nobody deserves to not have a home, I'd feel cruel letting you head back out there," He replied. Will looked at her, he let the medic check her over and deal with her infected injury.
He goes to check on his ill brother. "Ed?" he walked in and looked around. He knew his brother would be feeling horrible, he brings him water and looked at him.
Edward was feeling rather weak , he sits up slowly "I'm awake."

"It's where I belong" Kyla sighed as she spoke quietly slowly dirfting off to sleep as the medic checked her wounds, feeling so tired and worn out from sitting days in the alley looking after some brat without so much of a thank you.
The redhead still didn't feel like she should be living in a mansion, though she knew Will would refuse to let her go back to the streets. The thought of that made her smile ever so slightly in her rest.

Will was looking after his brother and made sure that he was ok. He knew that his brother needed the rest though. He was looking around. He comes back once his brother has fallen asleep. The medic had given Kyla an injection to help cure her infection. Will then goes and lifts her up and takes her to a spare bed.
Edward was sleeping and mumbling to his sleep.

Kyla shifted a little as well picked up and moved her to a bed, snuggling up into the covers as soon as her body touched them. The girl's long, red hair fell elegantly over her pale face and across the pillow as she lay there on her side sound asleep.
The girl was going to be a sleep for a long, long time yet, she stayed awake almost the whole time she was protecting Edward in the alleyway. Added to that she had to get up and get him food and blanket while she was wounded and bleeding.
