[Jealous Angel D]

A human with the ability to channel magic – magnifying a user’s abilities. Trying to find someone to fit this description had proved to be incredibly difficult. On Aurion it would have been difficult – for the magic was wild and would have been drawn to such a being. However, here on Earth, the task was almost impossible. Magic was present, but in such a small amount. Not to mention the place was littered with humans. For once in her life, Deneva felt like a minority – and she was certain to not shift form. It was best to just blend in as a human.

Her days were spent watching people, waiting to see if any of these small humans lived up to a higher potential. But she had also grown to love this world – which seemed so quiet and reserved without the chaos of magic. So when she spotted a group of ogres, dressed up to look more human, she began to follow them. There were only a few reasons that so many would be gathered together – and she assumed that they were looking for a meal of human flesh.

So she had watched as they ambushed a human male. The fight hadn’t been a pretty one – for the ogres had the advantages of strength and number. But yet the fight hadn’t been normal. The magic the ogres natural used to fight seemed to be acting strangely. Perhaps luck was on her side afterwards – and perhaps she had finally found the one that her people prophesied about.

All this led to the situation she was in now with the human male lying on her couch unconscious. If it was true that he was the chosen one… his life would surely never be the same again.

Caelyn came to with pain throbbing behind his eyes. "Ugh I didn't even drink THAT much." Then he remembered ... the thugs. "Oh yea... them." he thought to himself. As his eyes came into focus he realized he was lying on a couch. But it wasn't his couch, and he had no idea how he got there. Before moving too much he felt his hands were untied and his legs didn't seem to be either. Then he saw her. A beautiful Asian woman sitting down the couch from her. He had never seen a woman as beautiful as this, it left him speechless.
After an awkward minute or so, he came to enough sense to ask "Where am I? The last thing I remember is walking home and getting jumped... and.. how? I am sorry my name is Caelyn," He realized his stomach was in pain as he had gotten a pretty good beating. "Thank you for looking after me I think. You are pretty, errr I mean I am pretty sure that I have you to thanks anyways." He felt his cheeks flushing up.

She offered him a smile as he stared at her a bit bewildered. "You have several questions but that's only to be expected. My name's Deneva - and you're currently in my apartment. It wasn't too hard to get those... thugs to leave you alone. So I brought you back here for the time being." She grew quiet as she thought about what to say next. How could she confirm that this man was the one prophesied about. And how could she avoid chasing him away. "Caelyn was it? How are you feeling? I'm not an expert at healing - but I should be able to at least lessen the pain."

"Hi Deneva, yes that is correct." He tried to sit up but let out a slight wince. The thugs did a number on his rib cage, he wouldn't be surprised if one or more were broken. He forgot where he was momentarily and blushed when he realized he was in her apartment. "It was very nice of you to bring me back here. You have a great pad." he said as he scanned the apartment. "It looks lived in, unlike mine." he grinned. "I would be much appreciated to anything to subside the pain a bit so that I can get my brain back. Its hard enough with the frequent migraines I've been getting lately. I'm not talking just your average ones either, it feels like something is literally trying to exit my body via my skull."
