Emotion of surprise could come from many things and it's not necessarily has to be triggered for that person alone. The surprise of other people could also elicit surprise in a person. All I can say is that surprise, disgust, and anger will go hand in hand. :3

Well, I personally think it fits her. After all, she'd gone through a ton of crap in her life and came out a rugged woman. Doesn't mean that she's heartless, but she knows she couldn't dwell on grief for too long, especially not when their enemy is still at large. I was asking your view as a second person from what you've seen in the RP. I want to make her progress well for myself and for us. :)

Would she try to comfort Isaac even though she's beginning to remember what happened?

Well, she wouldn't recall anything about it at this point in time, but there are now cracks in the trauma walls that are keeping her from remembering. Now all that matters is just getting the right things to break those walls, one way or another. She would try to comfort Isaac and try to keep their relationship strong. Don't know how Isaac would act from now on though and Hayley is also starting to doubt herself and others, given that her perceptions of them were shattered in a matter of less than a day. XD

Well, Isaac wouldn't do anything, since he doesn't know that he killed Hayley's mother, but, needless to say, things would be pretty awkward between himself and Hayley for awhile, until she leaves :T
