It had been awhile since Thor had been able to see Jane. Things had just been too crazy up in Asgard to allow him to slip away. It was hard during those times. The god of thunder did miss her, but he had to deal with Loki among many other threats and duties.
Really Thor knew that being future king just held all those expectations, even when he wanted to go and just have some fun, he couldn't. Lately THor had been wondering if he was going to get any free time. The god never protested as he always was willing to keep the nine realms safe.
Dealing with Loki had been the hard part, he didn't want to see his brother locked up and punished, but he knew after Loki's actions that had to be done. He knew that it was hard for his mother too. He had seen the sadness in her eyes during Loki's setence.

Now that all of that was over and done with Thor wanted a break. He knew Jane would be missing him and waiting for his return. He just hoped she wasn't going to be too mad. He hadn't expected to not be able to see her this long. He also didn't want to be around his father right now, as his father was angry. Thor was in his room putting on his armor and getting ready to leave. It was unlikley he would run into trouble straight away. But he always wore his armor.
He really did miss Jane, He hoped that she would be waiting for him and hadn't given up on him.
Though Thor was sure that she missed him nearly as much as he missed her. His father had warned him that having relationships with mortal women normally didn't last. Though Thor knew he wanted to be with Jane and that didn't put him off.

When Thor left, He was looking around to make sure the path was clear as he headed to the bifrost. He then headed to earth. He knew he would have to find his way to Jane's place. Luckily he had learned enough about Midgard to know to not get hit by vechiles again and be wary of the road. There was still many things about this realm that confused Thor. Jane oftened helped him through alot of them. As did the Avengers really.
With so much left to learn Thor knew he was always having to ask the ofhers if he was unsure of something. Upon arriving at Jane's he saw her door had been knocked down and that her place was a mess. THor panicked.
"JANE!!" His loud voice boomed. He hoped that nothing had happened to her, If it had, he knew that he would go after them and make them suffer. Thor was looking around and hoping she was there. He had no idea what had happened.

She drained the coffee cup, the bitter dregs swirling around her mouth as she tossed the empty cup into the bin. She rubbed at her eyes; fatigue was washing over her in persistent tides. The bitter chill nipped at her skin and she sighed with relief as she turned onto her road. Jane was ready to get indoors and just go straight to bed. Sod the shower she craved, or the mounds of research that sat piled on her table. Jane wanted her bed. With everything she had been through in the past year or so, she was exhausted. So intent was she on finding a way to find Thor again, it almost dominated her time. Although, after the episode in New York, Jane felt somewhat burnt out on the situation with her and the Norse God. They had been on earth again, but she had been sent away to Norway. By the time Jane had made it to New York, he had gone. She spent the next few months desperately seeking him. But it was time to let it go. She was leaving for London next month; she had to focus on other things.

Opening the door to the building, Jane walked up to her flat. But she stopped abruptly before the front door. “What…?” She whispered, her gloved hand reaching out for the door. It was open. Her fingers traced at the handle and lock, the door had been opened by force. “No way!” She groaned. She had been robbed? Pushing the door open, Jane walked in and dropped her bag on the floor. Whipping off her gloves she looked at the carnage that was her home. Her belongings were all over the place, it was like a whirlwind had torn through the place! Research papers all over, books upended and torn. Everything just ruined. Jane pushed a hand through her hair and she moved into the other rooms, just to see what damage she had to deal with.

Entering her bedroom she sighed, leaning back on the door frame and closing her eyes. Why did it have to happen to her? Pushing herself forward and walking through the mess, stepping over torn pages and broken glass, she spotted something on the floor. It was a group picture, of her, Darcey and Erik. However, her image and been cut out of the photo. She stood up and sat on the edge of the bed, a little confused. Why would someone cut out her picture? A quick look around showed her that it wasn’t anywhere here. Someone had taken it with them! But before she could contemplate this further, she heard her name called out. The voice was thick and commanding, but given the circumstances all it did was unnerve her more. Jane launched herself to her bedside table and yanked open the drawer. Her hand circled around the pepper spray, and she pulled off the cap before edging herself against the wall. Had her intruder returned? Jane peeked through the gap in the door, her hear beating viciously against her chest.

However, who she saw she had not expected. A confused look spread across her features, was it him? Jane had moved on, she had gotten closure. Yet here he stood, the man who could never remove himself from her mind. Her eyes looked down to the hammer in his hand, and she just couldn’t help it. Her shoulders dropped and she stepped out of the bedroom and looked to Thor. She offered him a sad smile, and in that moment, all those feelings she had locked away came back.

"Jane are you alright?" Thor walked over. He was worried about her. He seemed to be looking around. He wanted to know what had happened. If there was somebody after Jane he wanted to know.
He hugged Jane and he warpped his arms around her. He knew that he didn't want to ever loose her. The god was looking at his girlfriend. "I am sorry Its been awhile there was lots of battles and duties to attend to."
He hoped that JAne knew that was the truth. It had been very hard for him to go through all of that when he couldn't have a break. Loki's schemes had made alot of that harder and his brother had caused so much damage as well.

The god knew that Jane needed to know, "Plus brother." He knew his brother needed to be punished. It still upset him. He knew he would always care about Loki. He was furious at what his brother had done and he didn't really trust him anymore.
He knew he needed to make sure she was safe.
"Its finally calmed down back home and I was able to get away."
At least he was able to get away from his father's temper. He didn't like being around his father when he was angry. Thor still found it hard to not even loose his temper, expecially when his father did. Odin was always angered easily.
The god of thunder had been learning to control his own temper and not loose it all the time. He also sometimes ended up breaking things when he was angry and he didn't want to do all that.

The god was still looking around. "What happened here?" He replied, He was still worrying. "I will keep you safe." He seemed ready for a fight if he had to. He was checking to see that nobody was hiding. He could tell something had defiently happened.
He helped her clean up the mess a bit. The god was unsure if she would be mad at him. He did expect her to smack him almost. Though he knew he had still be unable to help what had happened.
During his time with the Avengers he had not been able to see Jane as things had been too crazy.
He knew that he had promised he would visit her way sooner. The god knew he would have if the bifrost hadn't been broken. But he had to do that to stop Loki from doing anymore damage than he had done.
