Spam minecraft server

So nobody liked the temp world border idea, huh?

Well if I'm not entirely barred from making suggestions, we could reset the server and do "event" type things on the pre-release until the actual release comes out.

One life survival/PVP things, creative mode build-offs (or just plain fuckery). minigames, or whatever.

Boy do I want to do one-life/hardcore PvP events, I tell ya.

EDIT: Can't one just save the old world file locally?

Well we can't do many mini games because I don't think bukkit updates for pre-releases. So if we updated it, we wouldn't have any plugins until the actual update comes out

You mean put the world up for download? I don't see why not. The world file can't be more than a gigabyte.

Ticks Per Second. There is SUPPOSED to be 20 ticks in a second. Any less and you start getting lag(furnaces and crops not operating/growing as fast as they are supposed to. Low enough and you can even get block lag. In 1.8 chunk generation is massively optimized, thus TPS improvements. And rendering is multithreaded, so if your processor has at least two cores, you will notice a massive FPS boost.

Aza, I'm really sorry, but when I was replanting some of your wheat and stuff I saw that a fire had gotten into your house somehow and by the time I could put it out it'd destroyed about 60% of the structure of it. :( The chests are okay I think. I have no fricking clue how it got set on fire. Lightning?

An apartment I'm locked out of is D:
I think I've got some gold horse armour, leads and nametags in a chest with some other fairly uncommon bits. A chest full of suits of armour, each with a bow and sword. And I was moving some stuff over there to store for moving my base, now I'll probably also make a list of some stuff I'd like to keep if the server updates. There might be a chest full of glass too, as I was planning an underwater dome base.

Edit: Sorry if I sounded accusatory before, you must know I have a teensy bit of a persecution complex.

ah okay. Well put all your stuff in one area so you can designate which chests to move.
