Ohhh my that might be fun, once the IMIB understands they are building a gate there are only two options, strike a deal to reap the profits from access to Hau markets or obliterate the gate to ensure that the IMIB remains one of the largest resource acquisition alliances in human space. Marco certainly would go for a peaceful solution, but Mira would get the IMIB governing body involved which could make things very interesting.

Are Hau some sort of shape shifters? They seem pretty human-like for aliens but you describe them as some sort of alien empire.

Kinda reminds me of Sid Meier's Alpha Centuari with the alien faction wanting to build a device to send I. The fleet to crush everyone.

Never played alpha centari but if it bears resemblance then so be it. Also, I decided to use a space elfish look cause its just what I wanted.

They are alien because they aren't human.

Well I have been working on a alien race for some time, tweaking and stuff but not near completion, but might be easier to run on a smaller scale might help. however how long have others been on this world and build stuff? but many just starting to colonize?

Well, in total, Dacyira was colonized seven years ago. As for how many have settled, there's no definite number, really just up to players.
