Viral didn’t think he was going to manage to continue so he might as well just give up now. It would be unwise to keep pushing himself, not unless he wanted to be incapacitated for the rest of the evening. Looking to Vegeta he frowned at his question, moving his legs around to ease the pressure on his joints. “You make it sound as if I am a burden to the rest because they can’t function efficiently while I am like this. All my work is just leading up to the inevitable dying in battle because I am not able to keep up”. It was always going to be an issue of getting stronger and catching up to everyone when they were continuously training and getting stronger by the day. They were eventually going to go up against a powerful enemy that everyone could find equal ground against, but if he tried he would probably be killed. Vegeta really was just treating him like a simpleton who would find pleasure in being told he was ‘doing good’, how he should be happy knowing he was improving and forget all his worries. “I’m on a lot of medicine for that crap. Just what makes you so confident that I am going to be completely out of the illness phase? I can’t run in this damn room without collapsing and that’s what you call ‘recovery’? You realise I’m going to strangle you one of these days for being overly positive, but then again I will probably just be overpowered, huh…”
Kiton was completely not ready for any of this and just wanted to leave, knowing he could get in trouble with Aito if he was to say he had lost his watcher and incapacitated a rebel, even if he didn’t mean that last part. It was stupid of Leto to bring him here, especially when there was a big Saiyan who definitely didn’t want to have him around. Looking to Aito who decided he should remain here he couldn’t help but wonder if that was a call that he was in trouble or if he was just being told to stay put so he could be found and dealt with later. All the reasons he could think of weren’t particularly good for him, knowing he was probably going to end up in worse trouble than he could’ve been. Looking between Aito and Krom he frowned at Aito’s suggestion to join in, groaning lightly before he looked to Leto. “I wouldn’t even be here if it wasn’t for this imbecile! I don’t care if I have to join in or not to keep out of trouble…”
Krom looked between Aito and the Frost Demon before grunting, hardly looking pleased. He wasn’t told of this Frost Demon, but from the sounds of it he wasn’t with the rebels so he probably shouldn’t care that much. Looking back over to Takeshi as he decided to try and be the big man again he scoffed, turning back to him. “’Old man’? Is that supposed to sound tough? Do you think calling yourself a little boy is tough? Because that’s what you’re doing by calling me that”, he spoke, moving into a stance, “And I can complain all I want when the training’s been so rudely interrupted like this! But hey, maybe it is just preventing me from getting so annoyed at your inability to follow simple instructions that I end up breaking your arm or something…”
Shu didn’t know what was going on but his heart was still racing from the sudden crash that had interrupted their training. He was scared of the unknown and that was definitely pretty unknown at the time. Sighing lightly and looking away he rubbed his chest, feeling a little confused to what he was supposed to be doing now. That whole incident had completely thrown him off and he was promptly forgetting what he was feeling that was making him feel so bad, just managing to make him feel even worse and confused. “I-I don’t mind, I think. I’m not sure. Do I not mind? He seems angry…”
