Krom didn’t feel he was being given much room to move around in with all of these words being thrown in his face, his main concern being whether he could find a way around this by not being directly involved in the discovery of the Beastman’s facilities and what could possibly be going on over there. Everything in this whole design was being played against him and he was going to receive no benefit out of any of this whatsoever. He was going to end up as a prisoner no matter what he did, whether their prisoner or Yamate’s for betraying him beyond what he had said he would do. Hearing Aito try to compromise he narrowed his eyes at the offer, frowning deeply before looking over to Yumi when she decided to butt in again. They were dead set on giving these Beastmen freedom, but that was a lot of creatures to control and probably not all of them were going to be huge fans of taking orders from someone else they were not familiar with, even if it was the offer of freedom.

Groaning lightly he looked away before ending on a sigh, looking back at Yumi at her mention of being a Beastman. The problem with her was she was forced to be one in the first place so having her go along with the whole freedom aspect didn’t sit in his mind very well since it would always be the default choice with her. He didn’t know what Viral would think of this since the Beastman had wandered off so having Yumi speak for him only sprung doubt into his mind that he would go along with it too. “I have no doubt the Commander would have any intention other than to send them into battle. He craves it as much as a pure blooded Saiyan does. You can see it in his eyes…or rather, what you can see of them”, he spoke, waving his hand over half of his face before folding his arms again, “But I guess I have no choice in the matter. I either get tortured and eventually spill my guts about the project’s location or I give the coordinates and get it all over with. Either way, I’m going to remain locked up and under critical watch indefinitely so there’s no plus in it for me”.

Shu stared at Vegeta curiously, hanging onto whatever he said but frowned at the thought that his hearing was most likely going to go. With old age being mentioned Shu raised his shoulders, looking a little worried until Vegeta tried to raise his mood again, trying to make it out as if it was something that would never happen otherwise to someone like him. “Oooh, I don’t want to not be able to hear…then I’ll never hear the bad guys”, he spoke, raising his hands to his ears. While he was a little worried about his future now the thought that maybe music might help him in some way was definitely encouraging, giving Vegeta a smile when he was given a plan of action. “Ooh! I would like that! I don’t know what kind of music I would like because I don’t know what music there is other than that music. Music to make me sleepy is good music for me all the time”.

"The Commander won't be in charge of these people, I can promise you that. It makes more sense for a neutral party such as ourselves to oversee this," Aito explained with a nod, "And you will not be tortured, I may have attacked you but that's well below me. Nor will we allow the rebels to do any such thing, there are limits that we on Earth do not cross, and torture is beyond that. If you're so concerned for your well being then you may well be better off in our custody than theirs." And yes, Krom was going to be in some form of custody regardless of who he was with. The fact of the matter remained that until recently he was an enemy combatant, and one who could still pose a threat. Until they had ascertained whether or not he was truly with them they couldn't risk giving him complete freedom. As for Yumi's proposal for her and Viral to help with readjusting the subjects to society it was a sound plan, though there was just one small problem with that... Viral had left. "Where did he run off to now?" Aito asked himself more than anything, furrowing his brow as he glanced around the yard. He had struck his son and now he left, where in the world would he get off to?

Yumi had been wondering that too, thinking at first maybe Viral went inside to go and rest. Yet when she sniffed at the air she noticed his scent led off in the opposite direction, meaning he was either heading towards town or off into the woods nearby. That was worrisome, what reason did he have to do that? "I'll go find him Aito, I'll bring him right back," she said quickly, hurrying off before he could argue with her on it. Wouldn't Viral be happy if he was able to do this? He'd said a lot recently about not having a purpose or knowing what to do with himself, this could be just what he needed! "Viral? Where are you?" she shouted, hoping to find him before he got too far off.

"Yes, uh... Just don't overdo anything and you'll be fine Shu, I'm sure." Probably not best getting into too much detail, it would both be completely lost on the young boy and only serve to upset him further. Such a tedious job speaking with this one sometimes. "We'll give you all kinds of music, and then once you decide what you enjoy I can change it to be more like... Whatever genre you prefer." Provided of course they could get their hands on it. There may be limited music on the ship already, whatever else they had would depend largely on what the Uuonians could give them. Best not to make too many assurances then in case they ended up without proper choices for Shu. "Out of curiosity Shu... How have you been feeling today? You seem to be in much better spirits than you have been, has something changed?"

Krom had little trust in Aito or even Yumi but that was pretty normal for someone who was essentially their enemy despite his current stance with helping to train the others up. That was more to do with them being too weak to fight off the stronger enemies of the galaxy, especially when the creatures were even stronger. Even with the Beastmen they had to be strong if they were going to survive future battles without using them. Hearing Aito try and reassure him that he won’t face torture he frowned, staring at him as he spoke as he tried to see the truth in that notion. If Aito was confident he wasn’t going to receive torture even after being beaten with the intention to get information out of him then he was pretty curious as to what his version of torture might be. “In your custody? You realise the only reason the rebels are keeping me alive is because I’m doing a service. What makes you think you can convince them to leave me in your hands? You’re the only one strong enough to hold me at bay, after all”. When Viral was given at least a thought about finally by Aito he looked around as well before snickering, looking back to Aito. “You really think he would stick around after what you did? Either that was his arm I heard or you broke him with that punch”, he spoke before sighing, shaking his head, “The lack of care you had after that was just painful to watch…”

Viral had managed to walk a fair bit until he was unable to go any further, managing to get to the woods before it got to be too much. He was well aware that his energy would eventually recover, but whatever happened before then was always going to be a case of it being unruly for the most part. He would have to try and keep his pride by hiding away while he dealt with the pain of being struck and his entire being having been shattered. Clutching his wrist as he hid against a tree he sat against it, staring down at his shaking claws before freezing up when he heard Yumi not too far away. Why was she looking for him? She had no reason to come out looking for him, he was just fine on his own apart from the crippling pain and feeling of no control. He just wished to be left alone after that, but she was going to sniff him out anyway. It wasn’t as if it was going to be hard anyway, he was probably stinking of blood and sweat at this point.

Shu didn’t know how it was possible to overdo music but if he thought it could be done then maybe he really should watch out. He was scared of losing his hearing, but if it had a likelihood of it not happening then he would be happy with his ability to listen to music to try and sleep. Smiling at Vegeta he bounced on his seat, getting excited about the possibility of many types of music being given to him. He didn’t know what kinds of music there was other than what he was hearing on the television. “Ooh! That would be nice, I would very much like that…” he spoke quietly, thinking about what other kinds of music there could possibly be. When Vegeta decided to ask him how he was feeling he frowned, pressing his fingers together. “Well, feeling okay just now. Takeshi took me to play with other people! Not had good day at start, though. Takeshi only help to make me feel better about being so different from other Saiyans. Still no sure how to feel about that…”

"And you do realize the rebels value the cooperation of my son and his friends? I'm sure if we put our word in to transfer you they would do as we asked, unless they want to risk losing our cooperation. And given everything I've heard that these children have done so far they're owed this, if not more." Krom would be treated better in their custody more likely than not as well, they had somewhat more ethics than Saiyans did; Korian could argue he stood against the Saiyans all he wanted, but ultimately he was one of them, simply with a different idea of how things should be run. And yes he was a Saiyan himself, but then he was raised on Earth and valued things that most Saiyans seemed to hold no regard for. Furrowing his brow at Viral's absence the doctor sighed when Krom pointed out what he'd done earlier, looking at the Elite indifferently. "He knew the risk of doing what he did, so it's not logical for me to feel bad for his decision," Aito explained, sighing however as he rubbed at his head, "That being said... I'll check on him when he returns, assuming Yumi can bring him back. I'm sure he knows I hadn't intended to strike him, I have no ill will towards him."

Now was not the time for Viral to run off somewhere, he could be hurt from that attack by Aito. It wasn't terribly hard to track him down after a moment of walking, between his scent and that of his blood it only took a couple of seconds. Stepping through the woods she managed to find him sat up against a tree, smiling yet concerned as she approached. "Hey... You didn't have to go running off, they're done butting heads," she said as she stopped before him, kneeling down and looking at his hands. He was shaking, was that for any reason in particular? Reaching out and taking both of his hands in her own she closed her eyes, trying to convey a more relaxed sensation as she settled her own breath down. "We're going to go help people who were part of that project, people like me. And I think you and I are going to help them a lot," Yumi explained, opening her eyes and smiling kindly to her friend, "We're going to go and help a lot of people, isn't that great? And no one else will have to go through it anymore."

"Excellent, then as soon as we have time I'll go and set that up for you. You may need to wait a little while though, I have to get the music together before you can listen to anything." Not to state the obvious but their selection on the ship was likely limited, depending on what was brought from Earth. He didn't think anyone was terribly vested in music in their group, chances were they only had a handful of tracks if that. Music seemed to do a good deal for Shu, but what of everything else? How had his mood been in the last few days? "Did he now? Well that was nice of him," Vegeta remarked with a glance to the older brother, surprised he'd actually gone out of his way to do something, "And Shu, differences aside you are still a Saiyan, and you're still your brother's younger sibling. Being different doesn't diminish any of what you are, and those differences are not all necessarily bad. At any rate we're working to help you cope with some of them, particularly how you transform, and we're getting close to a solution. In fact I think today has given me a very easy yet effective fix to our little problem."

Krom didn’t believe he would be better off, even if Aito was trying to reassure his safety compared to what the rebels might do to him. The history between them was pretty long seeing how Korian and Sayomi came from the Saiyan army in the first place and compared to the history this group shared with the rebels it was like comparing a puddle to an ocean. He wasn’t pleased with how Aito believed he had greater power over what the rebels had, he also didn’t know what gave him the idea that Korian was going to be okay with any of this. “These ‘children’…hmm, yes. They are just children, despite what they’ve done. I don’t know what makes you think Korian will be happy with them taking away their highest rated criminal in custody, saying that”, he spoke, still having his doubts even if he was trying to reassure his safety, “If you’re going to do any convincing to anybody, you’re going to have to direct that to Korian. Why they would ever let me go is all up to questioning”. Hearing how Aito handled the disappearance of Viral made him question if the man had any compassion for others in him. It was obvious that Viral had been hurt by him in a few ways and yet Aito showed not even a speck of care other than saying it was Viral’s own fault for stepping in between them. Staring at him quizzingly he folded his arms, hardly impressed by the passive concern he was only showing to not look bad. “I don’t think that’s what he’s angry about, you know. Do you have no social skills or something? Oh he’s probably fine, it’s only enough to have him wander off during a talk about his own kind, after all…”

Viral was annoyed and with no way to get around having Yumi find him he couldn’t move anywhere, not like he wanted to anyway. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do or how to deal with her when he was trying to deal with an obvious weakness of his. Being in a lot of pain was definitely something that had great disadvantages when trying to get anywhere. Seeing her finally find her he stared up at her before letting out a groan, looking away from her. “Well I am done so I don’t have to care anymore…” Keeping a fair hold on his paws he tried to not have Yumi notice anything wrong going on with him, but of course she was going to even if he tried his hardest to ignore her. She always had a tendency to notice if there was something wrong with him, much more than any of the others did at least. Looking back to her when she knelt down before him he frowned, watching her hands before they took hold of his. Her touch specifically on the paw he used to block the punch with caused a fair surge of pain to run right up his arm like electricity, his eyes widening momentarily before turning into a forced glare as he tried to concentrate on not showing he was in pain. Staring at her momentarily he soon slowly looked away, gritting his teeth as he let out an unsteady sigh. “Oh great, sure…okay…” he muttered, finding she was really not talking about this at the best of times, “Except it’s not going to happen. It’ll be you…and Aito…and Vegeta…doing everything, but it’s not like it’s going to be easy. It’ll be another fortress and another battle and…there will be more than just Saiyans to fight. Let go of me…please”.

Shu was pretty excited about the offer, smiling happily as he rubbed his hands together. He was going to hopefully ease his troubles sleeping, or at least he hoped he would considering what was said. He didn’t want to lose his hearing like what was said too, but he hoped Takeshi and Vegeta was going to make sure that didn’t happen. Smiling happily he raised his shoulders, rubbing his hands together as he thought about everything he had done, but the thought that he wasn’t normal definitely bugged him still. Staring at the floor as Vegeta spoke about the subject he sighed a little, pressing his fingertips together as he tried to make it out to be more encouraging than anything that there was a solution to that problem as well. “I don’t know if I want to be called a Saiyan, though…I mean, I’m not very good at being a Saiyan either”, he sighed, shaking his head a little, “I don’t know how they are not bad, though. They are big differences and are bad things, so how can they not be bad? What is even fix to problem…?”

"Because children or not they have some sway over the course of events, or was there another reason they were taken and conscripted?" Aito asked with a frown, folding his arms as he questioned Krom, "And I'm certain your judgment of me is very unfavorable given today's events, but I can handle being your charge if need be, unless you'd prefer to answer to someone younger than either of us. Regardless of their ages they are children as I said, they still have a lot to experience before they can ever be considered mature." Some more than others, Shu perhaps had the furthest to go before he could be recognized as an adult. Sighing to himself the doctor glanced to the house briefly, a hand raising to itch at his cheek as he pondered how the youngest boy was getting on. He seemed happier before, perhaps they had finally found a means of making him content. Now they might have a better chance of handling his PTSD, given they had a coping method. "I'm positive he's furious with me right now, both for not apologizing and for acting as I did. That being said I also know he doesn't want me to coddle him or to make every problem larger than it needs to be," Aito explained, "I'll seek him out later and do my best to make amends, but right now I'm better off not bothering him. I certainly don't need a lecture on my own child from a Saiyan warrior."

Yumi found Viral, she just wished she found him in a better state. Sat up against a tree, shaking and dried blood at his nose and lip, clearly not in a very good way right now. Kneeling down before him she hoped she could offer something in the way of comfort as she took his hands, mistaking the shaking for being unnerved. Perhaps bringing up what he and she might be doing would help improve his mood? It didn't appear to, and hearing his response was fairly disheartening. Nodding when asked to be let go Yumi released her grip, sitting down before him and giving her friend a sad smile. "Well you never know, we might not have to fight. If Krom comes with us maybe we can make them stand down instead? Or... If it does come to a fight then we'll be okay. And you'll definitely be helping with freeing everyone, I'll be right there at your side to make sure you do, and you don't get hurt." Shifting herself she moved to the side of Viral and sat next to him, leaning over as her arm laid up against his. "Listen... We should go back and you need to be looked at, just in case. How about we go find June and she can help, okay? And later Aito can apologize for being an idiot."

"And what is a good Saiyan then?" Vegeta asked rhetorically, holding up a finger to keep Shu from answering, "Father and I are Saiyans, and yet we're also scientists. Are we good Saiyans because we're scientists, or are we good Saiyans because we're decent people? If we're good Saiyans because we're decent people, then that makes you a good Saiyan too. Our people aren't just all about fighting and power, contrary to what your father and his men might have you believe. It takes more than that to be a good Saiyan, or a good Beastman, or Kaesstrian. It all depends on how you are as an individual, not what others are like." Honestly who was Shu even using as a metric to measure himself against? The Saiyans in their group, while some idiotic, were good people and arguably a good Saiyan for it. If the King and his men were what Shu was comparing himself to then it was foolish, that was like comparing apples and lemons. "Big differences? Yumi is a girl, you are a boy, those are huge differences, but are they bad? Differences are not negative Shu, it's a fact of life, and everyone is different from one another. It's imperative that you understand we don't think anything less of people for being different, that's just not how we operate. As for the problem..." Vegeta paused, frowning as he debated on how best to tackle the touchy subject, "When you become angry you transform, that's the only thing we need to work on. And we will, I think we have a solution to it in fact."

“All soldiers start young. I started when I was eight”, Krom mumbled, folding his arms. He didn’t know what age soldiers on Earth started but he thought that was a poor question Aito had given him to answer. Not entirely in the realm of trusting Aito he remained fairly stubborn towards the possibility of more freedom, even if it was the best possible outcome for him. It just sounded absurd and it wasn’t as if it wasn’t expected of him to not be put off by the sheer thought. “It just sounds terribly unlikely that you’ll be happy having me near you all the time. It’s already been proven that you and everyone who believes the rebels are good see me as some violent animal who will probably attack the moment you turn your back on me. You’re willing to give me night and day watch by yourself?” He certainly didn’t trust himself. If he couldn’t do what Yamate wanted him to do then he would have to retreat and report back or he was as good as dead. It would either be the rebels who kill him or Yamate. He didn’t have much of a choice in anything, it had always been that way. Narrowing his eyes at Aito he couldn’t help but chuckle at his words. “’Child’? It’s funny, hearing you call him that. It almost sounds like an insult, calling him that. What did you make him for, exactly? I highly doubt it was because you wanted a killing machine for a son”.

Viral just wish Yumi would go away, but having her touch him made him extremely uncomfortable and not to mention it was extremely painful. She didn’t need to do any of this, she could had just left him alone but for some reason she was always trying to see if he was okay with whatever bad happened. He didn’t understand it. Why was she doing any of this? All this energy could be applied elsewhere and yet there she was here with him. Once she finally let go he slowly lowered his paws, sighing heavily before giving her a staring at as she dropped some more optimism his way. He didn’t understand any of this or how she could be so positive over everything despite the odds of a positive outcome being extremely low. “I’m not afraid of getting hurt. I’m not afraid of anything. I just know what you all are wanting to get involved in because I am the one who it all stems back to”. This was getting frustrating, but not only was Yumi now sitting beside him she was also now pressing up against him. The pain shot up his arm and right through him, constantly tingling as if he was constantly getting electrocuted. Gritting his teeth he stiffened up and looked away, trying to hide his discomfort as he went red in the face. “June cannot help and Aito can go jump off a bridge for all I care! Even though it won’t bother him in the slightest because he’s a god damn Super Saiyan!” he growled through his teeth, not wanting to give into the fact that he wanted to tell her to bugger off because she was doing more harm than good, “Will you stop touching me if I say I’ll go back anyway??”

Shu frowned at Vegeta spoke, finding everything he was saying to be a little too much for him to take in. He didn’t know what he was supposed to say to any of that when it was covering such a massive range of different answers as well as other races getting involved in what he was trying to express. He wasn’t very good at expressing himself, but Vegeta definitely made him feel like he was just being an idiot a lot whenever he talked. “Uhhh, y-you’re more Human than Saiyan, though. You don’t even have a tail…” he muttered, pressing his fingers together harder, “I-I’m just not smart or strong or anything, that’s all”. Vegeta certainly did know how to make him feel stupid, even though it was probably already a fact that he was pretty dumb compared to everyone else. A lot that Vegeta was trying to tell him was becoming lost as he continued to use words he didn’t understand, leaving him to try and pretend he was understanding by not making a big deal out of it. “But that would mean I would have to transform for it to be seen to and I don’t want to just in case it doesn’t work”, he frowned, shaking his head, “It’s a big problem and if it doesn’t work then I make a big mess and hurt people. Ooohh, not sure how this is not a bad thing compared to other different things like girl and boy! Oooohhh, everything becoming much harder now…”

"And on Earth humans don't enter the service until they're eighteen, sometimes even older than that. Clearly our experiences are vastly different," Aito pointed out, the differences in their worlds clear as the sky right then. No wonder their views were never aligned and always contrasting with one another, they were polar opposites in many regards. They needed an intermediary member to help with this, and unfortunately the only two he could think of, Shu and Takeshi, were far from qualified to do such a thing. "To be perfectly curt I could give less of a damn what happens once you're with us. I won't bother keeping an eye on you, you're free to roam the ship far as I'm concerned. At any rate much as I might begrudge you for what you've done, it's not my place to pass judgement. That is reserved for the younger fighters who actually had to deal with you, not me." Though they may be too emotionally vested to make a proper ruling on how Krom should be dealt with, perhaps it was for his own good he just be left to his own devices. If nothing else good had come of today perhaps this show of power was an indication of what lay in store for Krom, should he try anything. "Child doesn't only imply age, there's a certain immaturity and lack of growth in some areas too, which most of them have. To no fault of their own, they just haven't experienced everything they should yet," Aito explained carefully, neglecting to add they'd experienced too much in other domains. "I created him to protect people, and to create him in a way which made him adept in any environment. But he was never intended to be solely a warrior, just as we as Saiyans are not just soldiers. We have lives, we have hopes and dreams, calling ourselves just a soldier isn't fair."

What could she do to help? The emotional side proved to be too delicate for her without using a bit of her power, something she still had a very vague grasp of. Psychological? Forget it, she was not trained at all and worried she may do more harm than good, regardless of intent to help. Even the physical injury Viral now sported proved to be too much for her to help with and yet she couldn't just leave him alone. He was her friend, she'd never leave any friend alone, least of all him. "There are people like me who were being worked on, we want to save them. The others don't know about it yet but I'm sure they'll want to too, don't you?" They were best suited for the job, if the rebels did it they might do something unfair with the subjects, or even outright kill them if they were difficult. Hoping to ease the discomfort Viral was feeling Yumi leaned lightly into his side, promptly withdrawing however as it clearly caused him pain. Was his arm hurt that badly? So there was very obviously some anger towards Aito as expected, yet it wasn't fair to assume June couldn't do anything to help. Folding her ears down apologetically at Viral's seething she gave a silent nod at his question, rising to her feet and patiently waiting for him to do the same. "Of course... And if you don't think they can help... Maybe we should go to the ship? Or even the rebel headquarters, they'll have someone there to look at your arm for you," Yumi suggested, giving a small smile as she did, "It's probably just sprained or something, should be an easy fix."

"I had my tail removed, but there's nothing wrong with having or not having one. It's just like how you style your hair, its a preference I suppose." Albeit a preference that involved the removal of a limb, for whatever that was worth by comparison. Despite his trying to reassure Shu it only appeared like he was becoming more discomforted, his tone and posture suggesting as much. Damn it all, he really needed how to speak plainly didn't he? Tch... Only issue there was while he knew perfectly well what he was saying it wasn't easy to put it in simple terms, he never spoke nor learned in simplistic ways. "You may not have to transform though, we'd only need to test to see how music effects your mood and then we can draw conjectures... That is... We can test music and if it helps you calm down normally, then by all accounts, it should help prevent you from transforming or even help calm you once changed. And all I'm saying Shu is that there are always differences, even among the same race or within the same family. Being different doesn't mean someone is lesser however, that's simply life. As for your challenges, they can be overcome with enough effort, and now that we have ideas as to help them it's only a matter of time."

"Yeah buddy, you'll be feeling much better in no time now, just you wait," Takeshi chimed in with a grin, ruffling Shu's hair as he leaned over, "While brains here is busy plugging away you and I can keep having fun, you won't have to worry about a thing. Then they'll come to us with a plan and we can work on it together, okay?" Now that there was actually some sign they could make it work he was way more optimistic about things. And if all he had to do was keep Shu happy, be it playing games or acting silly, then he could do at least that much. "Besides, we've got all the time we need for this stuff now! Which means a hell of a lot more goofing off for us Shu."

“Well your planet has more civil wars than it does wars against other planets so of course your planet would wait so long before going into service! Saiyan Elites like me don’t have a choice but to go into military service! The life of an Earthling certainly has limited worries…no wonder you all are so naïve about these things”. Krom didn’t know if he was jealous over the freedoms these people had because he had never experienced freedom to become jealous over it. He was proud to be a strong soldier and that was all he needed. Takeshi may had gotten a taste of what it was like being a soldier, but he was still immature and never someone Krom would look up to despite being a Prince. That would be the same as looking up to Shu because he was a Prince.

Hearing Aito offering him the freedom to roam the ship as he pleased he couldn’t help but feel confused, his first concern being how he could possibly trust him despite being an enemy of the side he was helping. “Your lack of care towards what I would be doing is most concerning…” He could take their smaller ship and escape, he could sabotage the ship too and yet Aito didn’t care. Maybe he just didn’t care about him as a whole and was expressing it that way, but it was certainly strange for him to have faith that he wouldn’t do anything to hurt them. It didn’t matter if Aito was strong, he couldn’t do anything if he was on the other side of the ship. “There’s very little immaturity regarding him. You should’ve seen him in the field. He proved to be a natural, that’s for sure”, he chuckled, shaking his head with a sigh. Listening to Aito’s reason for creating Viral he raised an eyebrow, looking away momentarily. “Except Saiyans have to be contained and controlled unless they get their tails removed and be monitored. You have to contain and control Viral too…or at least your son was because you were dead, right? He kills to protect and he’s already shown he’s a natural born killer many times. Hmph. Hopes and dreams is just a childish thing to have when it’s known you are a monster or come from a race of monsters”.

Viral would be fine if he was just left alone for once, but nobody would want that just in case he did something or deserted them all completely. He was a complete head case to them all and leaving him alone was practically asking for something bad to happen. He couldn’t blame them for thinking that way, they were all well aware of how unstable he was. He wasn’t even going to blame the fact that he was injured for the attention he was receiving either, just that it was all for precautions nowadays. Finding that it was just a little too much for her to be leaning against him or touching him at all he had to make a complaint which thankfully she received and decided to move. Sighing lightly he made a side glance to her. “…I think the real question is are you angry that they did that to you? Is it that much of a negative that you don’t want others to go through it too?” He had always wanted to question her properly on the subject, but never did he find the right time to ask her. Frowning as she stood up he took a moment before pressing himself against the tree, slowly sliding himself up awkwardly in an effort to stand without using his arms. Staring at her as she made alternative suggestions for places to go he groaned lightly, looking away. “It’ll be much more awkward if I went anywhere else, plus she’d just cause a fuss if I was gone for too long”, he spoke, looking down to his arm, “It’s not sprained. Aito shattered my energy when he broke my shield. It’s been too long since I used my energy that I didn’t suspect it would be so…weak…”

Shu frowned deeply for a moment before looking down, only being reminded that he pulled off Takeshi’s tail. He didn’t really like being reminded of that and only thought Takeshi might’ve still disliked how he had it removed without him wanting it removed in the first place. Feeling a little worried that everything wasn’t quite going well between him and Vegeta he kept his head down, trying to not show disrespect to him when he was only wanting to help. Listening to him explain how it would be beneficial and why music was a good idea he looked up, staring at him as he thought about how it might work. There was every possibility that it would work, but he wouldn’t know until it was tested. He was always going to be scared of changing because of the amount of stress it put him under, not to mention the thought that he might hurt someone like every other time he changed. Looking to Takeshi when he spoke he raised his shoulders when his hair was ruffled, giving him a little smile when he reassured him everything was going to be alright. “Still have fun? I would like that very much”, he spoke, slowly looking away as he pressed his index fingers together, “I do like having fun and goofing! Maybe fight together too. Don’t want to get weak just because I’m scared of bad things happening. I want to be able to help everyone too”.

Planet X137, just outside the atmosphere

Convincing Krom to reveal the location of the planet proved to be fairly difficult, and not only because he wasn't completely sure of the coordinates. After some trial and error however they managed to locate their mark, a ways off from Uuonoe and most other worlds for that matter. Even tougher still was convincing Korian that there was no need for the rebels to be involved, something which took right up until departure to make clear; too many forces showing up could cause problems, it was best to go light and make due with what they had. A fight was likely to break out, yes, but with everyone aboard they ought to have enough manpower for the task ahead. Now they overlooked the world from high above, its blue atmosphere and expanse oceans like a gem in the pitch void of space around it. Strange that they would pick such a world for this, but then perhaps it was because of its isolated nature they had chosen it.

"So down there somewhere is the facility... And in there are the people being experimented on..." Aito mused aloud, standing at the forefront of the bridge looking down on the planet below. As Krom had pointed out several times there would doubtless be Saiyans stationed there to protect the facility, meaning a fight was all but inevitable. Beating them shouldn't prove terribly difficult given their own strengths, yet what concerned the doctor most was how the Beastmen would react to the violence. Unless they were quartered off somewhere private and out of sight they would no doubt catch wind of what was happening, and in doing so may turn violent themselves, depending on how they responded. "Discretion isn't quite going to work here, even if we send some of us down in a shuttle. But then we can't quite just leave this monstrosity sitting in the ocean somewhere either, meaning..."

"That our best course of action is to send only a handful, and perhaps keep more of us on standby as insurance," Vegeta finished, frowning as he examined the screen before him. They had launched a probe from their ship earlier to scan the surface in hopes of finding the facility, and thus far it had come up short. It was obviously down there somewhere, and logically it should be on ground as opposed to beneath the water, seemed redundant to hide a facility on an already undisturbed planet. "The question then remains who goes down? If we know we're going to be encountering enemies then we need to send perhaps our strongest fighters. But then again... It's not unreasonable to assume someone may notice we're here and come after us too, meaning sending our best off to the surface may not be great." So that still left the question of who to go down? It seemed reasonable to send his father, yet Aito had made it clear he had no desire to go and fight earlier. If he was not an option then that left them with the usual suspects, yet for a group smaller than normal they had to be even more decisive than usual.

Throwing everyone at the facility didn't sound like a good idea from any perspective, if they went too heavily in then they might risk hurting one of the Beastman in all the chaos. It made much more sense for them to be more crafty about this, send a few who could do quite a lot. And Yumi had a feeling she knew just who to do it. "I'll go, and Viral will too. That's two of us anyways," Yumi offered before smiling at Vegeta, "Oh come on, I can fight too, or did you forget? Do you really think you Saiyans are the only ones here who know how to handle themselves?" she added with a playful wink at the end. Besides she'd already spoken with Viral about this before they'd even made plans to come, it just made sense for them to be part of it. Both of them in some way or another had suffered by this project, and by their efforts it would be put to rest. But in order to accomplish that they needed more people, and so far no one else had volunteered for the job. It wasn't like they had never done something like this before either, so what was the hold-up?

"I'll go, beats the hell out of sitting up here not doing anything," Takeshi said, raising his hand as he spoke before pointing to Shu, "And the little guy will come too, if he wants. Just the four of us should be plenty to take those jerks down." It would be nice in a way too, get back to the simple four man team they had when they first met. Granted quite a lot had changed since then but it was awfully sentimental in a way when you thought about it. "Heh, in fact the four of us might still be overkill, but we've gotta send at least a small team, you know? So just send us on down and we'll free those people in no time."

Viral didn’t know what he was supposed to feel about this whole mission, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do either. He knew they had to go down and help out the Beastmen down there, but then again he didn’t really know if that was what they wanted. He had helped create them, they knew nothing else other than the Saiyans and what they were supposed to do and yet he was supposed to show them that what they were made for is wrong and what is correct for them. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do about that, he was well aware that these people were not going to know what was best or anything that Aito and the others thought was correct for them. They were just like him, all made to kill and destroy for a greater purpose.

Disliking how much he was having to stress over all of this he did feel like he didn’t want to do any of this, but everyone would be disappointed in him if he did say he was less than willing to go. Yumi didn’t tell him what she felt regarding this whole Beastman business and her own condition, he kind of left him hanging for that one and only left him questioning whether she didn’t mind it or not. She probably hated being this way and would definitely want to take up any opportunity to be normal again. He wasn’t going to push his opinion on the matter, she clearly would want to be normal and hated everything that the Saiyans had done to change her. Seeing how his energy had recovered and he was apparently much better than he was before he was desired on the battlefield and to help convince these Beastmen to join them and leave the Saiyans. Looking to Yumi when she gave him a confirmation he groaned lightly and looked away, disliking how she was treating it as something to joke about. “This is not going to work so you don’t need to worry too much about that kind of stuff”, he spoke, folding his arms, “What makes any of you think these Beastmen are going to want to give up the life they know for some promises that sounds like you’re trying to lure them to their death? There’s probably some in the water too…”

Shu didn’t know how he was going to handle this and kind of wished T’charrl was well enough to go with them if only for that extra protection. This place looked and sounded rather scary and not to mention it was still a large laboratory that was full of stuff that would be used in experimentation work. Maybe this was the place they had taken him to at some point, he knew he was being moved around a lot but he was too out of it all the time to understand where he was and what was going on. At this point being told he was going he could only hope he wasn’t going to get in the way or screw up. Looking up to Takeshi he very quickly looked down at his fingers, pressing them together. “Ooh, just us then? You sure that okay? I guess I will be good at it, but we still going to fight and not sure if I am good enough at fighting…” he spoke quickly, feeling the least bit confident about everything, “What if Mister Viral is right and they no want to be with us?”

"It will too work, we'll make it work, just you wait," Yumi said confidently, not going to be swayed despite any doubts, "Well... All they know is this life, right? So maybe if they come with us... If we can show them what else there is, maybe they'll want more? Unless we show them what else is out there they'll never know what they're missing, so it's up to us to introduce them to it!" Whether that meant taking them back to Uuonoe, or leaving them here on this world, someone had to show them what life had to offer. Fighting was fine and all and during a war it was necessary, but that wasn't the only thing that life had for you. Even Viral who spent so much time around others had yet to fully accept that, yet she remained optimistic he would. Hearing Takeshi and Shu would join them as well gave her some confidence, knowing they could fight even if she did slightly worry about Shu being there. "If there are some in the water then we reach out to them too, we don't want anyone to feel left out or alone there," Yumi responded in kind, smiling at Viral as she continued, "Maybe all they know now is this, but they can know more if they get the chance. It's only right they get to make a choice after they've seen what else there is."

Yeah yeah, showing the Beastmen what life had in store was nice and all, but Takeshi knew he had no part in that. All he was tagging along for was to pound in some Saiyan's faces and make those creeps of scientists regret doing such a nasty thing, both to his sibling and his friends; truce nothing, he still saw most of the Saiyans, especially Elites, as the kind of people who were never going to be good. "Yeah we'll be fine buddy, don't you worry! Teams of two and all that, I'll have your back the whole time we're down there," the older boy reassured, patting his sibling on the back, "You're good enough at fighting for sure, okay? I wouldn't bring you down with me if I didn't think you were, you know?" Sure Shu maybe wasn't the most confident of people, but whenever he and Shu sparred it was hard to catch or land any hits on the little guy. He could fight an Elite, he just had to treat it more like their sparring sessions than an actual fight. "If they don't wanna come with us...? Uh... Well I mean they kind of have to, don't they? If we kick the Saiyans out then there's gonna be no one in charge anymore right?"

"They don't need someone in charge, they aren't infantile children, incapable of helping themselves," Vegeta commented bluntly. At least he assumed they weren't hard to say given how Beastmen apparently aged and progressed differently from other beings. He couldn't recall much of Viral's growth, though he did know his brother to technically be older than he was in some regards. "That being said too, as Yumi pointed out this is all they've known for life. Removing the scientists and some sort of direction could lead to their being lost and confused, which isn't going to help their situation any. Ideally they agree to come with us, though I would imagine we're going to need some very compelling arguments as to why that is. Convincing someone to seek something they've no knowledge of isn't easy."

"Which is why we introduce them to new concepts and ideas while on this world, and they draw their own conclusions from there," Aito interjected with a smirk, tapping on one of the consoles as he leaned back, "Krom, would I be correct in assuming they've never been off world, or even outside of the facility? If that's the case then we should bring this ship down once the site is secured, let them see it for themselves and explore. If they decide they're curious and wish to see more then we should allow them to come aboard, and we can worry about logistics after we find some willing companions. Otherwise our only course of action is to remove the current power, and instill something that won't leave them without direction or guidance." Much like how wars went, as one power was toppled another rose in place, sometimes for better though often for worse. Their situation here was precarious as if they did have to put someone else here, be it some kind of leader or establish some sort of rules, there was a very real chance it could backfire and make things worse than it was. "Viral? As a Beastman I feel like it's best you try to argue on our behalf, on what else lies beyond this world. They may take one of their own more seriously than any of us."

"Or me... I'm a Beastman as well now," Yumi added herself, smiling slightly as she reached up and tapped one of her ears, "I mean maybe not a traditional Beastman, but I'm certainly more of one than any of you are, save Viral. Maybe while Shu and Takeshi are busy... Ah... Showing the Saiyans the way out, Viral and I can focus on helping the Beastmen? Or we can do that after the fighting too." Between herself and her friend they could do this, she was confident they could. None of her empathetic link was going to be needed for that either, if two of their own kind could vouch for life beyond the walls of the facility then surely they would be more willing to venture out... Right?

Viral gave her a side glance before groaning, folding his arms slightly tighter. He didn’t know about that. He didn’t have that experience himself, he was kept hidden away from everyone and what was worse was he never had true freedom himself. For these Beastmen to gain freedoms he never had did make him feel jealous, but on the other hand he was a dangerous Beastman while these were simple soldiers at best. He could easily kill many in one swoop but these people were designed to fight against a specific enemy. He was essentially constantly on watch with very little freedoms to call his own, but maybe that was for the best when nobody really trusted him. “That’s certainly one way to generalise an entire island of people…” he sighed lightly, “You are all naïve if you think this is going to work as easily as you make it out to be”.

When it came to Takeshi Viral didn’t have much of a care about his reason for volunteering, even if he knew he was pretty brutish. He was probably just wanting to go in to fight as usual while his brother was being dragged along for the ride. He didn’t know if it was wise to take the kid along considering they had done nothing to help him other than entertain him every so often. Disliking how Takeshi insinuated that the Beastmen were simpletons he gave him a glaring at before looking to Vegeta who thought it was stupid of him to say the same as well. It was all a matter of decency at this point when regarding the Beastmen as intelligent, even if he didn’t know himself. They could be more beast than man for all he knew but even then he was sure he could understand them on a more personal scale.

Shu didn’t know what to make about it all but if Takeshi had faith that he was going to do well then he hoped he was right. He didn’t know if he was going to be very good but so long as Takeshi was happy with his progress then maybe he could improve further. He really did hope that he wasn’t going to have to fight much, he didn’t want to end up screwing this entire quest up by being weak and completely not impressing the Beastmen. He was thinking like he would do when out in the wild with the weak being seen as laughable and not worth siding with them if the Beastmen saw him as a weakling. “Got to fight good…but also be good at talking to them? Oooohhh, that sure is a lot of things to do to make sure everything go good”.

Krom couldn’t care less at this point and was simply looking elsewhere, not appearing as if he was at all interested in the facility. He found it very hard to be interested in their quests when it was going to destroy a lot of work and their chances to protect others from those monsters successfully. “What? Hmm, sure, whatever”, he sighed, running his fingers through his hair, “There are probably more Beastmen in the facility that are still being produced, you know. It would be murder if you decided to forcefully shut down the facility and completely remove those in power. I don’t know how you’re going to get around that…”

Viral didn’t know how to feel about this in the end, whether he should feel insulted that the Beastmen were being seen as simple-minded or the fact that the Beastmen existed in the first place. It did mean he wasn’t alone in his existence, but that also meant he knew what it was like to be someone who was going to face further hardships simply because of the reason for his existence which really wasn’t that different from what they were created for. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do, whether he should try and protect them from being taken away from their purpose or let them be inserted into a society that didn’t welcome them. Feeling pretty conflicted he narrowed his eyes at Aito when he was tasked with trying to convey the message to the Beastmen that everything was going to be better if they came with them, letting out a groan before his attention went to Yumi. She was definitely optimistic, but she did have a pretty biased outlook on what the Beastmen were going to be like. They all should know that the Beastmen were probably going to be unruly, by all means he was and still is pretty unruly. He figured it was going to be like inviting a bunch of ruffians on board if they were that young and inexperienced with social interactions other than with their own kind. “I can’t do much other than act as someone who knows what it’s like to be locked away with only one defining purpose, unable to act on their own free will and disregarded by their creators when that purpose becomes obsolete”, he spoke, sounding rather bitter but refusing to look at anyone, “They may not know what it’s like in the outside world, but I’m sure Yumi will do a good job at explaining that so long as they’re willing to listen”.

Maybe it was naive, but then what was the point of trying if you didn't have a little optimism or naivete? If you always thought it was a moot effort you'd never give it a try, Yumi had to try and be hopeful at whatever she approached. "We'll give it our best, I know it sounds cheesy but we have to do that much. If these people are given a chance they might take it, and we're the best ones to give them that chance." It was nice hearing Takeshi and Shu would be accompanying them down to the planet below; hearing Takeshi spout nonsense and sound overconfident was, as ever, tiresome and annoying. It wasn't just as simple as kicking the bad guys butts here, though it would certainly be some nice vindication after what had been done. A little gentleness might be more important in getting the Beastmen to join them than a show of force.

"Well, you know... Talk to them too I guess, maybe first. And then if they don't want to listen? Then we kick their butts!" Takeshi declared, smiling before rubbing at his arm, "Uh... I mean the Elites of course, we won't be fighting the Beastmen." Would be fairly ridiculous to get into a battle with the very people they were trying to save. Though they had done that before too hadn't they, back when they were saving Sasha and Ricken. Weird to think of how recently that was, lots had happened then. Talking wasn't quite any of their strong points save maybe for Yumi, and she had that weird thing where she made people feel things so there was that too. Aito seemed to have thought this through too but then it was impossible to understand the majority of what that guy was on about. Something about finding them a new leader or something, which Vegeta didn't seem to like when he said it. Hmph, hypocrites.

They had some semblance of a plan now, so were they good to get going? Yumi was admittedly nervous about all of this yet she had to try and keep confident, especially with Shu now getting uneasy too. "But you know what its like too to be free, even if you have us hounding at your heels every step of the way," she said to Viral, "And... Maybe this can be your purpose? At least for now, to help guide the other Beastmen. I can't think of anyone better than you to do it, any Saiyan can't really understand them like you can." He had a perspective no one else here had, and while she might argue to be one of them Yumi knew she was really just a knock-off at best. Seeing how disdainful Viral was becoming over this she reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder, smiling reassuringly as she gave it a small rub. "Hey... You can explain it too, like I said you've got more experience in this than anyone. I'll definitely try, but I think you're much more qualified to do it than anyone else."

"Yes, well... Qualifications aside, I imagine it's going to take input from each of you in order to ensure this works, so be prepared to put yourselves out there," Aito added, "They should be finished preparing the shuttle by now as well, if you four want to head down there. We've taken the added liberty of sending off some food as well as some items of clothing, think of them as gifts for the Beastmen, a way to show we don't mean them any harm. A very simplistic way of showing one's friendship, but it might just do you some good." It was as much as they could offer the Beastmen in the way of goods, and really anything more complex than clothes or food might be lost on them anyways. Once on the ship, assuming everything went well, they would have to be introduced to any number of objects likely for the first time in their lives. "Do be careful, and use the scouters provided should things take a turn for the worse. We'll be just above the facility and ready to come to your aid should the need arise."

Viral was pretty annoyed at them all, seeing how they were being made out to be simpletons and will probably go with them because of the offers. He didn’t know what the Beastmen were going to be like but he knew they were going to be angry and confused when they knew nothing else in life. He was the same and understanding what the Human world was like through the television he had access to only made him angry enough to understand they were all terrible and selfish creatures. If they approached the Beastmen who had only been told the Saiyans were good and everyone else was evil they were going to have the same reaction he had in the past. He still didn’t know what to make of Humans, they were pretty awful in his eyes still but he hadn’t been around them enough other than Yumi to know if it was just a biased thought. He knew he didn’t want Earth to be taken over by any external force and for the planet to survive, but the people had been complete jerks to him apart from that one party.

Looking to Yumi as she spoke to him he sighed heavily, looking quite tired of such an argument against his own thoughts on the matter. “I can lead soldiers, but you don’t want them to be soldiers, do you?” he spoke, looking away. If he had a great instinct to fight and if they were the same then that would be a considerable problem for everyone. It was highly likely that they wouldn’t be seeing them with caution, but rather with a lot of anger under that belief they were the enemy. Glancing at his shoulder as she placed her hand on it he frowned, looking back to her as she only expressed her faith in his ability to compromise with them. As Aito decided to interject as well he could only believe Aito had very little faith in him. Instead offering the Beastmen some supplies seemed to be his way of thinking, something he felt was a little silly for him to believe would work. “Clothing? Nothing’s going to beat the Saiyan armour until they can be individually fitted. Not even I fit into your kind of clothing properly”, he sighed in annoyance before turning to leave, just wanting to get out of the same room as Aito more than anything.

Shu didn’t know what they were going to find down there but he did hope that it wasn’t going to be too difficult or scary, not that he thought of himself as a weak coward all the time. Sure he thought of himself as weaker than the others and scared a lot, but he still had some pride for himself even if it was a tiny bit. Slowly rubbing his hand nervously he smiled up at Takeshi, not feeling too confident with Viral sending his doubts. He knew where the guy was coming from, he found it hard to believe that someone who spent their life away from civilisation was going to believe everything they said. Even he didn’t believe everything the people who took him in told him, not until he saw it for himself. He was also curious enough to see what they were talking about, but he didn’t know how curious these people were going to be. Squeaking when he noticed Viral was already heading off he gave Takeshi’s hand a quick tug for them to leave too, hoping they could get this done quickly without too much problem.

"Well... I mean there's nothing wrong with being a soldier, but we just don't want them to be only soldiers. They should get to see what else they can do in life, and if they want to just be soldiers... Well, then we let them. But you never know what else they might like." More than anything too they should be soldiers fighting for what they wanted to be fighting in, or at least something they believed in. Soldiers weren't just mindless machines, they had thoughts and feelings all their own and could disagree with someone over it. Yeah they were made to fight those monsters but what if they didn't want to? They shouldn't be forced to if that were the case. Seeing that everything was now in place for their departure they really should get a move on, following after Viral as he turned to leave ahead of the others. "Maybe he does mean Saiyan armor, I mean technically those are a type of clothing," Yumi suggested, smiling as she kept pace at her friend's side, "I doubt they have those people running around naked though, we probably don't have to clothe them. Though if they are naked..." She didn't want to have to deal with that, it would be much too awkward. Plus if Shu saw that? It was an awful lot of questions that no one was going to want to answer.

So that was done with, time to go kick some Saiyan ass then? Good because these creeps had a hell of a lot to answer for and they'd probably been doing this mess since Viral's capture over a year ago, punishment was quite a bit overdue. Glancing down as Shu tugged at his hand Takeshi smiled and nodded his head, pulling his brother along as he followed Viral and Yumi. "We'll be back before you guys know it, just you watch!" he shouted back, waving to the others before the door to the bridge shut behind them. "Just stick with me while we're down there buddy, we'll fight together if we gotta, just like we always do. Yumi and Viral can fight together too, everyone's gonna be just fine." Heck if they could spar with Krom now then fighting someone lower on the ladder shouldn't be any problem at all. Sure it was more than raw strength, Takeshi got that, but it wasn't like they were lacking in experience anymore either. As long as nothing unexpected happened it should be an easy fight, with the real tough parts being trying to figure out how to make the Beastmen come with them.

The shuttle really was all set for them when they arrived, a handful of crew just finishing on strapping down some boxes with goods in them. Seemed like they were ready for their trip down, though now it was occurring to her how they planned on making the trip back; fitting 10 people in the shuttle had been very complicated, so at best they could only fit another 7. "So we should probably be safe about this right? Land far from the buildings and sneak in on foot?" Yumi asked, posing the question more to Viral then anything, "Except... Do you think they'll notice us? The Beastmen I mean, if they can smell or hear us coming." But then again if they were stuck somewhere inside they probably couldn't do much, never mind be able to tell if someone was sneaking up on the place.

Viral didn’t like the lack of planning that had gone into this little trip of theirs, feeling that it was being rushed just because Aito had an agenda. He hated everything about this and knew it wasn’t going to go well because of this haste, whether it was the inability to see how screwed they were going to be if one thing went wrong here. The first impression could be lost forever and then the Beastmen would have to be taken in as prisoners. Deciding to head on down to the ship now he only could think about the whole operation they were needing to get underway and complete, wanting to get it over and done with before anything could go wrong. Looking to Yumi once she caught up he let out a groan at her thoughts on the matter of clothing. “You don’t even know what they look like so what would you know? I don’t even know why you’re putting so much thought into it…”

While he was a little annoyed with them already he was going to have to think seriously, seeing how he was placed quite tightly into this situation with no way out of it. Looking back to Takeshi and Shu as they joined in he let out a sigh, disliking how confident Takeshi always seemed to be. It wasn’t as if they were going to ever know how powerful the Beastmen were or the Saiyans that watched over them so the whole going to be ‘just fine’ was a matter of opinion. As they continued along to the shuttle Viral frowned, staring at it as he noticed how much they were going with. If they had to take the goods with them then there was no way out of that, but he would had liked to go in without carrying so much weight. Looking to Yumi as she started to contemplate their plan of action, staring at her before looking back to the ship. “I’ll fly the ship. You lot can fly by yourselves and make sure I can land it”, he spoke calmly, “There will probably be flying-type Beastmen, but probably nothing can be done about that. I don’t even know where to put the ship after we land, seeing how it can get destroyed while we’re away from it…”

Shu didn’t know what he was supposed to say to help with this plan, he just wasn’t someone who could plan like that. All he knew that he had to do was go in and hope for the best. Looking to Takeshi who could only give him encouragement he gave him a smile, hoping it was going to be a quick and not too hard a trip into danger. He was sure there was going to be some tough battles along the way, but he did have confidence they could pull through it. Viral seemed doubtful, but then again he was the only one who had experience with this sort of thing since he was a Beastman and could probably judge everything better. “Oooh, how do the ship get not seen? What if bad things happen and they do wreck it?” he questioned as he raised his concerns as well, something he didn’t really think of himself either, “Is there secret spot we go…? Hiding is easy, but what if they find easy too?”

"Just because we want them to be comfortable right? If we force them into a cold ship or something like that then I don't see them wanting to come with us," Yumi explained carefully, frowning as she considered Viral's point, "I wonder if anything will even fit some of them, if they're too big..." There was a lot that could make the Beastmen upset and not trust them, and none of them were exactly diplomats; seeming like the better people here was going to be huge, otherwise they could alienate the people before they even had a chance to try and take them off the facility. Having as much of cargo as they did too showed just how many Beastmen they might be encountering down there, and it made her wonder if they even had enough room to move people, should they have to. "We can keep the ship safe until you land, that shouldn't be a problem. I'd be more worried about the Saiyans trying something really," Yumi interjected, frowning as Viral brought up keeping the ship safe. How would they protect it? All she could really think of was hiding it somewhere, yet depending on the size of the island they were going to there may not be room to do such a thing.

Whatever the plan was they didn't have a whole lot of time to think on it, seeing as they were now loading into the shuttle. To Takeshi it didn't seem too complex, just go in and beat up whoever was keeping those people there, take the Beastmen away after. Sure they might not want to go, but they'd find some way to convince them to. "We'll find a way to hide it, I don't know where, but we will. I mean there's got to be some trees or something on the island, you know? We can set it down near those. Besides if we're raising hell at the facility how many people are going to be out looking for a ship anyway?" He didn't think they really had to worry about it too much considering everyone was going to be busy fighting over the Beastman. They just had to be extra careful when trying to get the Beastmen out that none of the Saiyans didn't follow them, losing the shuttle would really suck. Their only way to get out then would be for Vegeta to land this behemoth of a ship they stole and board that, though where they would land it was beyond him. "Let's get this show on the road, I'm ready to go kick some Elite ass!" Takeshi said eagerly, hitting the button in the rear of the shuttle to seal it up, "Ready to go help them buddy?"

Viral didn’t see a problem with him piloting the ship, but he did see a problem with where he was going to put the ship once he got down there. He needed somewhere where it wouldn’t be discovered, but who knew where that would be. It was a fair sized ship and hiding it was probably going to prove difficult. He would be unable to get away from the island without becoming a target himself all while making whoever had to carry him a target too. “The Saiyans will probably try and eliminate me since a ship is much more of a threat when compared to an already obvious number of enemies in the air. They won’t know it’s just me in there, but the weight of the ship because of the supplies will make it appear that there’s more inside because of the weight it turns with”. Overall he thought they were all pretty screwed no matter what they did, but maybe there was still a chance that the others could get down there and help even if he had to go down in the process. Waiting for the ship to clear he moved in, going straight for the pilot’s seat. Who knew how many Beastmen were down there so he knew he had to be careful, but his priority was making sure the others were safe so if he had to take a hit then he was going to have to be prepared.

Shu didn’t know how well he would fair flying when he didn’t have much practice but he did hope he could get Takeshi’s help with it. He wasn’t very good at turning still, but either way that was the least of his problems. He was having to go in a tiny vehicle again and that just made him worried and uncomfortable. Keeping close to Takeshi he stared at the ship before they were to go in, sneaking in behind him worriedly as he watched Viral take the lead. He didn’t really know how well Viral could drive for something like this but either way he was going to be pretty scared going in anyway so the flight was the least of his worries. Looking to Takeshi quickly before to the door when he shut it he squeaked lightly, turning back to Takeshi with raised shoulders, “I-I guess. Just going to have to fly good, I guess…” he spoke quietly, slowly shuffling to the seats, “And hope this no going to blow up too. Can I stay near you…?”

"What if we protect the ship while you land it? It's not very sneaky, but that way we know you won't be attacked," Yumi suggested, "If they come out and attack too that means we fight outside, we don't have to risk fighting inside and possibly hurting someone, or destroying something." Realistically their ship was probably going to be targeted at some point, she doubted they could get in there completely undetected. So having an attack first thing before they even landed might be beneficial for them. "Or... There might be other islands nearby, ones that they don't use for the testing. We could land the ship there and fly over?" She doubted anyone was going to leave the island once they showed up, that should be a nice safe route for them as well. Ultimately though it was up to Viral to make the decision, he was the most military-oriented out of all of them. Yumi knew just fighting on occasion didn't really make her a soldier, certainly not one that could think things through as well as Viral could.

They didn't know how to go about this even now as they loaded up yet Takeshi wasn't worrying too much. They knew what they were doing, it wasn't the first time they had gone in to fight with next to no plans. They'd figure it out, even if it took them a little while to do so. Anyways he couldn't really help the others try and come up with a plan right now as Shu looked like he was having a pretty awful time of being inside the shuttle. "I'll fly you down buddy if you want, just like we always do," the older boy reassured, taking a seat along the wall and patting the spot beside him, "What, you think I'm gonna say no? Of course you can stay near me." Crap, and he'd seemed so happy and relaxed before too, why was he getting like this again? Was going into a fight really that nerve-wracking for Shu or was it being in the tiny ship? How come he was never afraid when they were in their room, something that wasn't exactly spacious? Eh, far be it from him to try and explain how people worked. "We're going to go kick some Elite butt, and then we're gonna help these people out," Takeshi recited confidently, smirking as he looked at Shu, "They might not know it yet, but they'll be happy, you know? They'll have a chance to not just be a puppet or something."
