Shu didn’t know what to make of it but at least Takeshi seemed to be somewhat interested in the subject, especially when the guy seemed to get annoyed at a lot of the things he asked about sometimes. Rubbing his tail a little as he stared at him, he nodded a little before making a quick glance towards T’charrl, “I guess so, that sounds interesting”, he said, giving a little nod, “Interesting! How nice, I would like to see how that goes when we get back to Earth and be able to fly well and not…into the dirt…” He really did wonder whether he had the ability and strength to do all of this, his mind finding it a little hard to imagine him being able to fly properly. Feeling a little nervous, his eyes turned to look at T’charrl flying, smiling nervously.

He was pretty scared of what he could do and he knew how unstable he was in the end, so to do all of that he would have to learn how to control himself first. It was a little bit of pressure having to learn how to do flying all over again just because he mentioned it. Looking back to Takeshi he frowned a little, lowering his head a touch, “Yeah, but you’ve all had practice, lots of practice and this is my first time”, he spoke, scratching his head, “I do want to fly, but I’m just worried that it would be wasting time or it wouldn’t be a good idea when we’re supposed to be doing something important…”

T’charrl didn’t know the significance of this or why they had to decide whether Shu wanted to learn to fly or not just now. Tilting his head a little he decided to fly closer, giving Shu a look over before nodding, “You shouldn’t be afraid, you’re strong and brave”, he spoke, smiling, “I’m sure your brother will catch you if you go flying towards the ground! When a young Kaesstrian grows their wings, we throw them up in the air higher and higher until they fly! It’s scary at first, especially with Mother…she’s really good at throwing…”

Shu didn’t know what to think of that, but he had experienced something like it before when he was very little. His clan would often toss the babies off them and get them to climb branches by themselves. Nodding a little, he looked to Takeshi, staring up at him, “Will you throw me and catch me if I fall? Throw me long! Then catch me! It will be fun! Please?” he asked him, bouncing a little before rubbing his head, “…I’ve got faith in you, and you’re really fast too…”

Viral wasn’t pleased with how Yumi was talking to him and her excuses for why she said such things were not helping in the slightest. Frowning a little when she came up beside him, he huffed and looked away again, growling to himself. All she was saying how bad she thought the things he did were and how they should be frowned upon with snark, nothing else beyond that. He didn’t know why she had come if she thought that way of him, not unless it was simply to make sure he wasn’t going to kill everyone he encountered, “’What’s right’? Depends on what’s right in your eyes…or anyone’s eyes! I just want to get rid of whatever monsters they have here just so Vegeta doesn’t feel so paranoid over it”, he grunted, looking back to her, “Don’t think I don’t see how everyone looks at me like I’m mad! I know what’s right and wrong…but the right is not always the way to go and if I have to cut my way through to get to whatever beasts this planet is hiding, then so be it. At least they’ll not have to live on this wretched planet anymore…”

"Hey now, so long as you keep practicing you'll be able to fly in no time! After all you're a Saiyan, and we've got this knack for learning tricks like this." Shu had near had flying down before, and probably would be quite adept by now if their year long servitude hadn't ruined things. So it was back to square one then, meaning they probably had to work on Ki control. In theory it was simple enough, spread your energy out to push yourself into the air and learn to do it in the right quantities. Reassuring his sibling with a pat on the back then Takeshi smiled, giving him a thumbs up as well. "The only time you'll be hitting the dirt is when you land, and you'll do that on your feet, not your face. I know you can do this buddy, you just have to be a little more confident."

He knew that T'charrl was just trying to be helpful, but his suggestion as how to practice made Takeshi cringe inwardly. Vegeta's words echoed in his head about not jostling Shu too much, and tossing him up in the air like a ball would most certainly do just that. It might work for Kaesstrians, but not for a little Saiyan boy with a concussion. Having Shu subsequently turn on him and get all excited about the idea made it difficult to shoot him down. For his own sake though it had to be dismissed, lest they worsen his condition. "I don't think throwing you is such a good idea. We might hurt your head if we do that more, and we don't want that do we?" While it was nice that his sibling was confident in Takeshi's speed and had faith it wasn't enough to sway the decision. The chance of further hurting the monkey boy was too great, certainly not a risk they ought to be taking. Perhaps there was hope for just simple practice then.

"Instead of throwing you up why don't we do some simple exercises? I'll teach you how to do it a safer way, and we'll work on it later too. I just don't want to do anything that might hurt you... Like tossing you around." Goodness knows what Yumi and Vegeta would do to him if he was responsible for Shu for getting hurt. Not to mention the guilt he'd be riddled with if he was the cause. Takeshi smiled as he grabbed Shu by the arm, gently tugging him along away from the ship, gesturing for T'charrl to follow them. With ships beginning to descend above them it was definitely best that they get out of the area to do this, as getting squashed would pretty much ruin their plans. Being in a fair wide open field they traveled quite a ways across, approaching a hill at the far end and stopping at the base. The sound of engines roaring and gradually shutting down drowned out most sound, so Takeshi waited a moment before speaking again. In the meantime he watched as rebels began to come out of the ships, hurrying towards one sat right next to their own, probably the junker. It might be interesting to watch them work, but they had things to do.

Once the little show was underway in earnest it was high time for them to move along. Leading T'charrl and Shu up the hill they stopped just as they reached the crest, Takeshi taking a second to look around from their new perspective. It was a lot of hills and plains, and off in the distance some high plateaus. Probably not the most likely place for people to be living, but they might as well keep in the same direction. Spinning on his heel to face Shu the older boy smirked, spreading his arms out to the sides in a stretch before hopping in place a bit on one foot. "Alright, want to try some basic flying practice? You don't have to get it down now obviously, it'll take some time. But if we start now you'll know how to do it sooner." Given maybe a few days time Shu would be up and about no problem, he was confident of that. "And don't worry about taking up time, we're not in any hurry."

Again Yumi's words backfired, only serving to further anger Viral. Cringing as she was snapped at she retreated a bit, putting some space between them and lowering her gaze. Why did he have to assume that every single thing she said was somehow critical of him? It was meant to be supportive, and yet it was still coming across as bad. Frankly it was frustrating, and draining to keep trying this. Exhaling in a soft sigh she lifted one hand, rubbing at her head before looking back at Viral again. "What's right to you... That's what I meant. I know you're going to stick to morals and not to anything wrong, your morals. I don't have to tell you how to act and I'm not," Yumi explained defensively. "And Vegeta isn't the only one that wants to get these things. They're dangerous, and we don't want innocent people getting hurt. All we want to do is prevent something from happening later, is that such a bad thing?" It was just a safety precaution, nothing more. Even if they might be a little paranoid about this a little paranoia was healthy. "Besides... These things are just monsters, and they only want to hurt people. The way I see it they deserve to be killed. If it's between innocent people and these... Things, then I'll choose to save the people."

Shu gave a little smile, nodding a bit. While he could still remember how to use his abilities if a little vaguely, he could probably relearn how to fly around without exploding with energy or going crazy in the air. He was definitely worried, but it was the hurting himself that had him so worried. Looking to Takeshi when he gave his opinion about being thrown up, he let out a sigh before giving his head a rub, “I guess so…but still, if it helps me fly, then why not?” he spoke up, tilting his head a little before he gave a smile, “Unless you’re not really good at catching things and don’t think you can catch me! Maybe the air might be not wanting to be nice to me and makes me faint…”

If that wasn’t going to be happening any time soon then Shu was fine with moving on from that thought and going onto something else, his eyes staring up at Takeshi with wonderment to what he might suggest for them. Shu didn’t think he’d get hurt if he was tossed around, but if Takeshi was that concerned with him getting hurt then surely practicing flying would just make things worse if he was jumping up and around all the time. Looking down to his arm as it was grabbed, he bounced a little on his toes when he was taken away from the ship and off on their little adventure. It was going to be exciting, meeting new people even if they were friendly or hostile. Looking back a moment to the ship, he did notice the rebels coming in and did wonder whether they were ever going to fix it up by the time he gets back.

With them all heading out and travelling over the hills, T’charrl flew alongside them with a calm rhythm. He preferred flying right now as opposed to walking, he still found it hard to walk with these legs sometimes and did get tangled up a lot so it was a relief to fly around like this. Looking down at the ground as he moved, his eyes slowly began to move across the landscape, just taking in everything he could now that he was on a different planet, “This is amazing…even if the planet is deserted and lonely”, he sighed, rubbing his hands together a little bit, “With nobody around, it would be perfect for me to practice my skills on…if there was food…”

Shu smiled up at T’charrl, finding it nice that there was someone like him who could find wonderment in anything, no matter how plain it was, “I wish there were fruits on this planet, I miss them already”, he sighed, looking up to the sky before Takeshi spoke up, his eyes directing themselves off to him in curiosity. Tilting his head slightly he soon smiled, giving a little nod, “I don’t mind! I mean, so long as I don’t faint I should be fine”, he said quickly, looking around, “I don’t mind about the time, I just wonder if I do faint or get hungry and can’t do anything anymore. I don’t see anything anywhere”.

Viral was getting annoyed with her pretty much trying to guilt trip into not doing something that his natural instinct was absolutely fine with him doing. He didn’t have a problem with killing if he had to and if there was any sort of hostility then he would kill. He didn’t care, even if they were innocent to the cause they were still going to get hurt if they got in his way, which was just the way things were. Continuing to keep himself moving, he looked back to Yumi when she tried to make her case only for him to huff and look away again. She would definitely like to tell him how he should act and what she thought was right, but that would just be a form of control to what he already learned. Sometimes he couldn’t help but hurt people, just like he did before, but he had already been told that it was part of his programming by his creators so hurting innocents was something he couldn’t help.

Continuing on with Yumi, he gave her a quick look as she explained her case as to why they should try and hunt these monsters despite the one that was found on the ship was already far away from its planet. Staring at her as she spoke, he frowned a little at what she was saying, he looked away a little as he thought about it momentarily before it all just hit home at once. Monsters like that, they deserved to be killed. Slowing down for a moment as it completely kicked him in the head, he looked to her for a second before away again, “…You are right. They deserve to be killed, these monsters”, he spoke coldly, “There is little dividing a thought like that, but it’s the people that matter, despite how natural these monsters might be to this planet. You should become a monster hunter, but then again you’re doing a pretty bad job at preventing future innocents from getting hurt already; unless, that is your intention with coming this way with me”.

Takeshi gave another shake of his head, not buying into throwing Shu around. It was too dangerous, and there were plenty of other ways that they could practice anyways. However they were going to practice they'd have to move to do so, what with ships coming in to land. Taking his sibling by the arm he led both Shu and T'charrl away, making a straight path towards a nearby hill. Hopefully from there they could get some idea of just where things were on this planet, and perhaps even spot out a hint of civilization. The world wasn't all that big from how it had appeared from space, so worst case scenario they could do a quick flying canvas just to look for some cities. There had to be something around here, otherwise that creature hadn't come from here. Even Takeshi understood that the monster needed a food source, and considering it was trying to eat them he had a funny feeling it didn't exactly munch on grass most of the time.

"We'll find food, or we can just have what there is on our ship. There's some left anyways, should last us." Since they hadn't managed to escape with the ship after its being restocked they were running on what supplies had been left onboard at the time. A few days of food and thankfully plenty of medicine, but that was about it. Pretty soon they would need to consider how they were going to get more goods. At the top of the hill Takeshi let Shu go, taking a look around for any landmark that could get them going in the right direction. All natural formations, nothing that hinted at any inhabitants being nearby. So it was going to be more of a search than they figured, darn. Hearing Shu speak up again the older boy turned around, smiling brightly at his brother's enthusiasm. "We'll take it slow so there's no chance of you passing out. And besides, like I said, we've got food on the ship. I bet we can go back and get something to eat if we really need to." The rebels probably had a fair stock of food they might be able to mooch on too, worst case scenario. Though if at all possible it'd be better to avoid becoming reliant on Korian and the likes. "Let's do a quick lesson before we keep going, then you can practice on your own time if you want."

"Just watch me for a second, okay? I'll explain what I did and then you can give it a try." Since flying via Ki was fair invasive he didn't need a whole lot of room to do it, certainly not with a level of control. So right from where he stood Takeshi gestured to his feet, smiling before sending energy down, through his torso and legs and finally to his feet where it would seep out. Slowly the Saiyan rose up into the air, balancing himself easily as he came up vertically and hovered for a moment. After holding that simple stance for a few seconds he descended again, planting his feet flat and looking at Shu eagerly. "Seems easy enough, right? All you have to do is get a hold of your energy, and with that try and push some of it down towards the ground from your feet. Think of it kinda like water coming out of a sink, you want it to be a steady stream. The stronger the force the higher and faster you'll go. Think you can give it a try? Don't be upset if you can't get it."

These creatures they were tracking were monsters through and through, no question about it. They didn't have the sort of intelligence to set them apart from other things, all they knew how to do was eat for survival's sake. Yumi knew Viral considered himself a monster, but she certainly didn't. Even if he had bad episodes he knew enough of what was going on to recognize it, and he did understand right from wrong. Plus he didn't exactly go around biting people when he was feeling hungry... Not that he really ate anymore anyways. Conveying that thought in much less words she immediately regretted them when Viral stopped in his tracks, his tone not exactly coming across as something happy. Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to say either. Sure she did think that the people mattered more, and not just whoever might live here, but anyone unfortunate enough to find one of those beasts. And sometimes nature had to be tamed to save people who couldn't be saved themselves, this was one of those cases. If it was some thing on Earth threatening people in the city it'd be killed without second thought, and she applied the same sort of logic here.

"What do you mean I'm doing a bad job of it? I'm trying to help them!" Yumi said defensively, frowning as she placed her hands on her hips. "I'm coming with you because I want to do this with you. We haven't done anything really together in a while now, and I thought it might be fun. Besides, I know that you can fight these things, and I'd rather be with the person who knows what he's doing here than the boys." As far as she was concerned her fortune was pretty good in this pairing, she had what little experience anyone got with these monsters on her side by having Viral around. Coupled with just wanting to team up with him and it was a fair good team. Smiling sternly she stepped ahead of her friend, turning to look at him in the eye as she pressed a finger against his chest. "So you and I are going to do this, and we're going to do it better than the boys or any of the rebels. We'll show everyone that Beastman can do anything other people can. That is, if you're willing to do this with me still?"

Shu was pretty happy to be going on an adventure like this, but he was a little nervous when it could mean getting into a fight and him being unable to battle correctly. He was a little worried that he’d let his brother down because he couldn’t keep it up if they ever needed to fight, something that did depress him a little bit. Trying to keep it off his mind since it’d just make him sad, he watched Takeshi and gave a little nod, “That’s good, where will we get more food? Hunting? We haven’t hunted in what feels like ages”, he sighed, knowing it was only a few days but still felt ages, “I wonder where we’d go to get food…and how to get it…I mean, I don’t know what those places in space are like when it comes to finding food since space doesn’t seem very friendly…”

Shu didn’t really like the thought of heading back just because there were food worries, especially when that meant going back to see the rebels and who knew what they’d say to try and get them back. He was definitely a little concerned, but he didn’t want Takeshi knowing about that, “Umm we don’t need to go back, I’m fine”, he nodded, rubbing his head, “I can take it slow, sure. I just know my energy is really bad when it comes to control”. He was a little concerned that he’d end up going flying up into the sky anyway without being able to stop himself, “A quick lesson sounds nice, I think I can do that…”

Shu had heard all of this before from Takeshi, all the way back when they were back on Earth and staying together for the first time in their lives. He couldn’t remember all of it, but he did remember the moment he was told and what it meant for him. Looking down to his feet, he couldn’t help but feel a little nervous just incase it all blew up in his face. Watching him demonstrate it before he looked down again, he let out a sigh before giving a quick nod, “Okay, I’ll try”, he spoke quickly before he closed his eyes, raising his fists a little as he tried to gain control of his energy, hoping he could slowly move it to his feet and let it flow; however, with a quick burst of energy Shu instead blasted up a few metres into the air, causing T’charrl to panic and almost fall back in the air.

Viral didn’t like what thoughts were going through his head at that moment, all of them fair forcing them through and making him increasingly paranoid. She was leading him out here with the intent to kill him, that wouldn’t leave his head. She couldn’t possibly want to do that, but her stance on what was a monster and how it would be dealt with was pretty clear and she wasn’t one for changing her mind. Then there was the fact that she had gotten together with that Saiyan, so who was to say whether she needed him or not anymore and that he really was a danger. It was painful, but with all these thoughts circulating it was fair hard to keep away from the pain and focus passed the paranoia.

Feeling the sting of her words still, he looked to her when she immediately began to sass back, his eyes not really focused anymore. Hearing her through pretty well, he glared at her as she spoke, his eyes soon turning to her finger as she gave him a prod only for him to step back, “You never had any trouble doing what others could do before they inserted those genes into you! What makes you think you’ve lost any of those abilities when you clearly showed you can still do them before”, he spoke lowly, feeling insulted, “I know what you’re planning on doing…it’s not hard to see! Questioning how I work, the monster hunt, the wish to use my skill…only to finish me off at the end! I can see it all now…I know what I am, I know what I did! I remember it all…I remember what you told me! I’ll accept death!”

Takeshi hefted his shoulders in a shrug, not entirely certain as how to answer Shu's questions. Space was much too broad to know everything, his experience limited to the planets the Saiyans or rebels had him visit. Worlds like this he had never been to before were a mystery, he couldn't even begin to guess where they might start looking. It seemed fair safe that there was some kind of life present, though what that may actually be was beyond him. Somehow he figured fruit wasn't exactly going to be a commodity here, the planet didn't seem like it had a whole ton in the way of vibrant plants. Hopefully Shu was okay then with eating whatever wildlife they could come across... Or grass. "If we find something that looks yummy we can hunt it. I just hope whatever is here is actually, you know... Edible."

"Good! You're going to do fine Shu, I know it. Just take it slow, we're not racing here. Not yet anyways." Takeshi smiled eagerly while watching his sibling, happy to see him giving this a go. Shu was perfectly capable of flight, he just hadn't been given the chance to practice as of late. With this seemingly empty world to themselves and finally an agenda all their own they could make time for him. Watching as the younger boy assumed a stance he got properly excited, right up until Shu actually took flight. Rather than rising slowly into the air, even just barely, the Saiyan shot right up some few meters, hardly a graceful start. Alarmed by the sudden rise Takeshi himself quickly flew up, and being as careful as he could caught his brother in his arms. Admonishing him with a faintly amused smirk the two of them returned to the ground, Shu being placed carefully on his feet. "Maybe we need to learn Ki control first? That was a little much energy just for a casual takeoff. Did you feel the energy moving?"

This was turning into one fine mess. Yumi had intended it to be a pleasant trip out, and yet inadvertently she was only serving to upset Viral further. From a simple petty argument came one hell of an accusation, making her reel back for a moment. "What? Are you serious? You think I'm going to kill you?" she asked, her voice dropping low out of shock. Looking at her friend astonished for a moment she shook her head, lowering her arms at her sides and frowning in displeasure. "I don't want to hurt you Viral, much less kill you. You're my friend, and because there might be moments where you get a little violent doesn't change that. And... These genes... They didn't change anything..." she argued meekly, biting her lip and looking at the Beastman worriedly. "Did they?" Aside from looks Yumi hadn't placed any differences in herself, but maybe the others had seen something she hadn't. Was she really not the same person anymore because of what was done to her? That thought terrified her, and pretty soon she found herself shaking out of fear in her spot. No, she had to be the same person, and she could still do what she did before. Just because she might have some new tricks didn't change that fact, right?

"Viral... I'm not going to kill you... I'm not going to hurt you. You're my friend, I only want to help you." With a tearful final look Yumi moved closer to Viral, wrapping her arms around his larger frame and hiding his face in his chest. Her cheeks were stinging at this point, both from fear of what she was and being emotionally wrought by her friend's accusations. None of it was true, nobody in their group wanted to see Viral hurt, why couldn't he see that? "None of us think you're a monster, honest. You're our friend, and you're fine the way you are." she explained softly, shaking her head against his chest. "We just want to help you not be depressed... That's all we're trying to change Viral. What you are isn't bothering us, what you've done isn't even bothering us. It's just seeing you upset, that's it. That's all we've been trying to do." Finally tearing her face away from her friend's chest she looked up at him tearfully, still holding loosely onto his shirt. "We just want you to be happy again... I just want you to be happy again. We're not trying to change what you are, I swear. And we're not going to make you change either."

Shu didn’t expect to be going flying on up into the air like that and squealed when he did, only to drop right back down and into Takeshi’s arms. He didn’t know if he actually flew or just blasted himself into the air with a blast from his feet; either way, he was back down again and safe with Takeshi. Feeling a little edgy, he looked around quickly before up to Takeshi, smiling nervously as he was placed back down on his feet. He did hope he hadn’t done anything wrong, his eyes going to where he was standing before to make sure nothing bad had happened. Smiling a little, he shifted his feet, “…Maybe, I don’t even know if I’ve grown stronger or if I’m just really bad at it because I lost a lot of weight…”

T’charrl was confused by all of this, but found it slightly surprising that Shu had managed to shoot up like that as if he had just been blasted into the air. Snickering a little, he soon let out a sigh as he stopped himself, simply smiling as he landed himself back onto the ground. Saiyans were so odd along with this concept of Ki. He had never seen Ki in action properly until recently and seeing it under such control was normal for him; however, this was completely out of control and quite cute at the same time. Scratching his fur down a little bit he turned around, looking for any signs of life, “That’s still more control than what I have sometimes. I can get jealous over it quite easily too”, he spoke, nodding a little, “I’ve always been jealous over other people’s abilities because I could never do anything properly myself. I was a bit of a joke amongst the soldiers because I got into trouble so much…”

Viral couldn’t help himself, he had no idea how to deal with such revelations and all of this accusations and talk that monsters deserved to be culled was just the lowest point that could be reached. Everything he had done would label him as one of these monsters, no matter whether Yumi tried to hide that fact or not. It was all making sense to him, all despite their reassurances that they weren’t going to hurt him he still couldn’t stop the paranoia from getting to him and damaging his mind with poisonous thoughts. It was all pushing in bad thoughts into his mind, his brain searing with ill memories from his torture. Getting stressed out with the situation he growled at Yumi, moving back a step, “It’s only logical that you would, that you would…you would destroy me out here and now”, he spoke lowly, shaking his head slowly as he averted his gaze, “You shouldn’t need to care…you shouldn’t! They all must be eradicated, so why not start with the one closest to you!”

Viral was conflicted and confused, he didn’t know what to think and everything was just telling him that she wanted to kill him and that was the end of it all. He was a true monster, one that would remain hidden until the time was right and he would end up destroying everyone. Feeling utterly confused and conflicted by all these thoughts and memories, he barely noticed Yumi coming towards him and ending up hugging him, his heart jumping when she touched him. His eyes immediately turning down at her, he felt he couldn’t move as she had a fairly good grasp on her, too cowardly to push her off him. Glaring down at her with confused eyes, he struggled for control over his own nerves before he raised a hand, rubbing his head slowly, “That beast did nothing bad compared to what I did…and you still call it a monster without knowing what it even is! How can you justify that claim when I have done worse…” he groaned, shaking his head, “Stop caring for how I feel…and just do it if you’re going to! I’m sick of waiting, of this pain in my head. I can’t take it…”

Since Shu was fine from that Takeshi could have a little laugh over things, chuckling as he set his brother back down on his feet. "You just have to practice a little more, that's all. And if you're so worried about your weight then we'll fatten you up! When we get home we'll get you a whole mountain of fruit to eat, and then you won't have that problem anymore." Albeit his weight really wasn't a source of issue here. After all, even if the Saiyan kid lost twenty pounds the amount of Ki that would be needed to lift him up was relatively the same. Nah, it was just a need to refine how he controlled his energy, that's all. Soon enough Shu would be flying with the rest of them, Takeshi was confident of that. "I don't think you've got any reason to be jealous anymore though." he continued, speaking to T'charrl now. "First Kaesstrian off of their home planet, and you've got some awesome abilities now. Heck, I bet everyone is jealous of you now! Just think of all the stories you'll get to tell people when you get home." Unless his people quickly became space travelers, which could happen thanks to their help, T'charrl was going to be the only one to travel beyond Kaesstra. It was like being the first human on the moon, it was a big deal.

"But really, that was a good first attempt. I mean you got off the ground, so that's definitely something." Takeshi said, smiling at Shu happily. "Want to give it another try? You're going to want to do the same thing you did before, but use less energy. And when you get up try to keep it going. Just keep pushing out the same amount of Ki and you'll hover. Then if you can get that we can work on moving around and other things." Flight was definitely going to be handy, and it was just the start of what could be done. Next was going to be actual attacks, something that was still quite erratic on Shu's part. After that they could refine other skills, like his ability to hone in on other energies. After everything was said and done the monkey boy would be just as able with his Ki as any other Saiyan, that was a guarantee. "Or we can keep exploring, up to you Shu. You decide for us and we'll follow, seem fair?"

This was just awful, Viral was having a very bad panic attack right now. Yumi was at her wit's end with how to console him, her words pretty much bouncing off of her friend with utterly no effect. Just where in the world did he get the idea that she, or any of them were going to kill him? Everyone had only tried to help thus far, with some poor situations as exceptions. No one wanted to even strike Viral, let alone slay him, and yet that seemed to be his held belief. As she usually did when confronted with a stressful problem she opted for a little physical comfort, both for herself and her friend. Hugging Viral securely she hoped that it would do a little bit for him, just enough that they might travel comfortably again.

"You did things to bad people! And you don't always do that! It's not the same as eating civilians or attacking people who don't deserve it, really!" Yumi was having a hard time keeping her tone in control, wavering a little bit from stress and grief. Looking up at Viral with a watery gaze she shook her head, refusing to let him go still. "I'm not going to stop caring about you, and I'm not going to kill you! You're my friend Viral, you're all of our friend, and no one wants to see you die or be hurt. We're here to help, that's it." And as the bitter icing on the cake was the shared fact that the Beastman was still very much in pain. This PTSD, if that's indeed what was causing this, was just plain awful. Could they make it to Earth in time to make any difference? "I love you, Viral, and I'm never going to hurt you. I won't ever call you a monster and think you should be put down, because you're not that. A monster doesn't raise two little kids and act like a parent to them!" Again she pressed her face against his chest, tears dripping down her cheeks sparingly now. "Please don't feel bad... You didn't do anything wrong, you're not a bad person... You're just you, that's all. Please, just be happy."

Shu really wanted to learn how to use his Ki again, not to mention the thought of flying always made him really giddy. The closest he had gotten to flying in the past was leaping from tree to tree back when he was in the jungle. Back then, that was the closest any of his tribe could get to flying. It was wonderful, but he wished he had someone else who would do all that with him without falling and being unable to keep up. Takeshi didn’t seem too interested in trying to swing through the trees anymore. Reaching down to his feet and giving them a quick rub, he stared up at Takeshi and gave a little nod, smiling, “I’d like that very much! I don’t like it when the wind blows, I nearly fall over”, he spoke, looking down to the ground, “I go all wobbly and get worried I’ll fall on my tail”.

T’charrl got feeling pretty embarrassed after what Takeshi said, raising his hands to his face and looking away. The whole being the first to go into space was true, he was standing on foreign soil just now and the air was definitely different to what was on his own planet, but to have control over energy like that still managed to bring in some jealous thoughts, “Ohhhh, I guess so. I just wish I could control them too”, he spoke, smiling a little, “You have no idea what I have to do to keep them in check for now, but at least I can do that all silently…”

Shu didn’t know what T’charrl meant by that, but he was still fairly confident that T’charrl’s abilities weren’t a danger to them right now and that made him quite happy seeing his control. Giving a little nod, his attention soon turned to Takeshi as he spoke, tilting his head a little before giving a quick stare at the ground, “I don’t know, going up like that was a little scary”, he spoke, looking back up, “Maybe we should find the people here and then after that we practice flying…? I mean, we are supposed to be doing something important and if we come back and don’t find anything, won’t they all be mad at us?”

Viral didn’t know why Yumi was saying all of this, he didn’t even know why she was so close to him either. If there was any way to ambush someone while he was caught unaware it was definitely through this embrace, taking his weapon and slicing his jugular with it. He didn’t know if he could trust her being so close to him, saying all these strange things to him that could only further confuse him. She could only be against him, after all that she said and even trying to warn him against do what he saw was right, he still was in danger of being betrayed by everyone. He just couldn’t contain his negative emotions and it was stressing him out, he didn’t know what he was supposed to do when it all sounded as if someone he thought was supposed to be his support.

With his head feeling as if it could explode with all this stress, Yumi speaking to him could only bring in an odd amount of stress as he tried to make sense of it all. He was not in a good place, he could barely control himself and all of this was definitely making it worse for him to make sense of the world, “Do those who are enslaved deserve to be killed, or do they await death? I could be toyed around with…” he spoke with a growl, holding his head still. He didn’t know what to believe, he was definitely struggling and it was all becoming way too difficult to hold onto his beliefs, especially after everything was said and done. As she continued to talk to him, halting his thought pattern when she spoke of her feelings towards him. He found that very hard to cope with, it all bringing in so many conflictions to his beliefs that he could only give up on the struggle, lowering his head, “My memories could be false, I don’t know if I ever did that…” he spoke lowly, slowly rubbing his forehead with his paw, “How am I supposed to cope with this…? This-…this…whatever it is! I could feel something inside me trying to tell me to kill you if you got close, yet you still managed…”

Shu's enthusiasm for learning absolutely delighted his brother. It would make teaching him to fly a lot easier too, since his willingness would mean he'd put in more effort. Not that the monkey boy had ever not put a lot of effort into his tasks before, he'd always been quite good at that. Changing the topic for a second to help reassure T'charrl then Takeshi was glad that their friend could enjoy himself a bit. He was accomplishing something major here after all, there had to be a lot of pride in that. Being the first of his entire race to leave his home planet, and not only that but to set foot on another was a big achievement. "Hey, you're controlling them just fine now it looks like. Just keep it up for now, we'll find a way to help you out soon enough." T'charrl was already handling it well, yet by the sounds of it keeping his powers under wraps took a little effort. It was only fair to him then they found a means of taking some of the burden off of him.

Takeshi was all excited over training his brother again, it being awfully reminiscent of how they used to spend their time. Shu had been a little turned off by his first attempt however, and it probably wasn't going to happen again anytime soon as a result. "Yeah, we can do that instead. Probably best we get to work anyways, I don't want to get my head knocked off by Yumi if she gets angry." Shirking on a mental cue the older boy smiled, turning about with his back now to Shu and gesturing over his shoulder with his thumb. "Want to get a ride? I mean we could walk, but flying is always so much faster. And this way we can have a little fun while we're traveling. Do tricks and whatnot." Just a little sample of some of the things that one could do while flying about. If Shu ended up wanting it even more then he was bound to take up practicing again as soon as possible.

Yumi didn't know what needed to be said right now, but clearly the path that she was taking wasn't it. Viral continued to stress about things, and that in turn made her even more taught with emotion. He had this horrid obsession with death, and while she wanted to blame it on PTSD she couldn't be sure. If only he could forget about that, move on and focus on just how good his life really could be, then he'd be happy. As it stood however it was impossible to make him think of anything but. It was times like this she really wished Vegeta were here, albeit he didn't really know how to deal with the issue either. No one among them was a psychiatrist, and she doubted anyone from the rebellion was too. Sayomi was the most intelligent as far as she knew, and the Saiyan only seemed familiar with technology. Yumi just wanted to find someone to help Viral and make him feel better once and for all. It wasn't fair that he had to suffer for so long, especially not when happiness could be found all around him, if only he looked.

"Your memories are all real Viral, the good and the bad ones. Like everything else they make who you are." For better or worse everything that Viral had experienced was indeed real, no question about that. The way it had sounded earlier there was no way to fabricate memories, so they had to be true. She desperately wished that there was an answer as how to cope, but Yumi couldn't fathom where to even begin. Shaking her head and looking at Viral flustered she sniffled softly, freeing up one hand to wipe her cheeks dry. "I'm not afraid of you. I know you can be dangerous, and I don't care. Every single one of us can be dangerous, but we don't avoid one another. You could never make me hate you Viral, or make me not want to be around you. I just want you to understand how much you mean to me..." Finally relenting in her grip Yumi took a step back, rubbing at her face again before smiling at her friend tearfully. "You're like a dad to me in some ways, and a brother in others. And you're always going to be a friend, one of my closest friends. You can tell me you're a monster, that you might kill me, or hurt me, or whatever, and I'm still going to be here for you. And so are the others. Viral... We're going to stay with you no matter what happens, and we'll help you through this, whatever it takes."

T’charrl couldn’t help but feel as if he would rather be in the same situation as Shu and just have too much power where only a little training was needed to fix it. His power wasn’t found anywhere else apart from his planet, it seemed, and even then those who would have the power probably wouldn’t be in the same situation as him. He was quite worried a lot over his own abilities, so much so that it was difficult to concentrate on the life-changing aspects that were good such as being the first of his kind in space and possibly being hailed as a hero at the same time. Looking down at himself momentarily, he looked back to Takeshi, giving a little smile in return, “It’s because I’m with you and Shu that I can. Shu has been keeping me company too”, he spoke, giving a little nod, “So long as I remember myself, I won’t lost my mind to the power. I have a feeling that’s why it’s been so important that I learned control over the years”.

Shu looked to T’charrl and Takeshi, waving around a little as they spoke. He didn’t know why it was so important for T’charrl to remember things like that but he was glad he could help him, at least. Smiling away to himself, he swayed a little before Takeshi went back to talking to him, staring at him instead, “Why would she knock your head off? Can your head do that?” he questioned him, feeling a little confused by that before making a brief bounce around to Takeshi, “Okay! That would be fun! I like riding”, he spoke, raising his hands up to Takeshi, “Please? So long as I don’t fly off you then Yumi won’t get mad, right…?”

Viral’s temper was pretty high right now under his own doing, it wasn’t even Yumi who was making him mad but simply the confusion he was in that was making him angry. He couldn’t even focus clearly, he just wanted the problem to go away and for him to finally be able to get rid of these awful memories through one way or another. They could only hurt him further, he had to stop them and all he could do right now was fight back to the very end. His mind was fogged with negative energy and he was having a hard time recovering from it, Yumi’s reassurances only making the situation confusing to what they really meant to do with him.

If his memories were real, then why did they exist in his sleep too and just why did they insist on haunting him during these terrible times? They could had been planted in his mind to prevent him from turning into a killing machine, he didn’t know. Holding his head, he struggled for focus as Yumi talked as he soon took deeper breaths, slowly falling to one knee as Yumi moved away from him. There had to be some truth in that, she wouldn’t be telling it to him so sincerely either if that was the case. With his cat-like eyes struggling for focus, he eventually rubbed them with his fingers, letting out a groan, “…I can’t take this anymore, this…madness. I was going to kill you”, he spoke simply, lowering his tone, “I’m…sorry. If you say it’s so, then that’s it. This burning pain inside me, is it even real or just my imagination…”

"Well, maybe it'll be because of Shu and I that you learn to control it too!" Takeshi said, grinning broadly as he folded his hands behind his head. "We're nothing if not determined, and sooner or later we'll help you get this power of yours down. Just be ready to practice a lot, especially since you're so new to it." Maybe they could even give T'charrl the same kind of training that Shu would receive for his Ki. The energy they used weren't exactly the same, but in theory anyways it ought to work in the same manner. Of course it was a little tricky to say, seeing as the Kaesstrian drew his energy from the planet, whereas their being Saiyans they drew power from their bodies. The only exception in their case was in using something like the Spirit Bomb, not that either of them could remotely pull that off.

It was probably high time they got moving, seeing as Shu wasn't wanting to train any longer. Not a big deal, they had ample opportunities later to do just that if he chose to follow up on lessons. Smiling at his brother then Takeshi squatted down slightly, helping the smaller Saiyan onto his back before clasping his arms around the boy's legs to keep him secure. "No my head can't be knocked off. At least... Not that I know of. I don't imagine it would feel very good." Would he even be able to feel it at all? Technically wouldn't being decapitated cut off all feeling to the body? Ah, he was over thinking this, and it wasn't like he had an answer anyways. "Believe me, I'm not going to drop you. I'll sooner crash myself into one of those cliffs than drop you buddy." That wasn't any sort of attention he needed, as there were plenty of people that would have his rear for hurting Shu. Once sure that his brother wasn't going anywhere and T'charrl was good to get moving Takeshi gave a small nod of his head, looking towards the plateaus. That would be a good place to start, and if empty then at least they had a better vantage point. Taking just one step forward he pushed himself off the ground, flying away at a modest pace as not to spook Shu, or possibly outrun T'charrl. Best to stay in a group here, they didn't know what they were going into.

"You were, but you didn't. I'm not going to run away because you might have done something." Viral was really having it now, he was absolutely down on himself. Smiling sadly Yumi knelt down before him, placing one hand over a paw as she looked at him tenderly. "The pain is real, but maybe it isn't physical. We'll find out what it is, together, you and all of us. And we'll find a way to beat it so you can feel better again. We're all here to help you Viral, no matter what you might believe sometimes. All we want is to see you get better." Whatever the cost that was the intent, within the main collective anyways. Viral's well being was becoming everyone's priority, they all wanted to see him well again. "I know things are looking glum, but they're going to get better. We're all going to keep trying, as long as it takes, to make you not hurt anymore. And we don't mind doing it, honest. We're happy to try." Yumi explained, gently trying to remove Viral's hands from his head. "You'll be okay eventually. Maybe not until we get back home, but it will happen."

T’charrl looked between the two before he gave a little nod, smiling at Takeshi. He hoped it would be because of them that he’d find control any maybe even be able to reverse what he had done to himself, but that would have to be something he’d have to see in the future. It was especially worrying to have little practice with it when he’d sometimes spend entire hours out of his busy day to solely practice on his abilities and talk to his great grandmother. Without being on his planet, he had no connection to her and her spirit was probably wandering around trying to listen out for hints as to where he went. Feeling the want as well as the need to get back to his former body, he let out a sigh and looked elsewhere, just wondering where they were heading, “I have no idea what direction my power is heading in, so it would definitely be very nice to get back to normal”, he sighed, looking back, “I already practiced a lot before, so it shouldn’t be too different…I hope. I just fear I won’t get myself under control before I have to head back home”.

Shu looked to T’charrl curiously, tilting his head a little. He was worried that his friend would get discouraged upon seeing them have their own powers down and controlled, the alien possibly feeling sad that he might be having a tough time getting controlled. Feeling fairly confident in his friend, he smiled and looked back to Takeshi, squealing as he was raised into the air as he took hold of his brother. Feeling a little confused as to why Takeshi would even mention his head being knocked off when it couldn’t be, he held onto his brother’s shoulders and peered over him, “Ooh, I wouldn’t like that! Please don’t crash, okay?” he nodded before they flew off and away. T’charrl was quick to take to the air and fly off after them, keeping at a fair pace. Shu didn’t know where they were heading, but he did have a fair bit of excitement towards what the future may hold.

Viral felt like he was at an all-time low at this point in his life, confusing his imagination and nightmares for reality. He didn’t know what his life was at anymore, he was definitely worried for himself and others just for being around him. He could kill them without realising it, his mind completely losing its grip on reality. It was painful, his mind finding it difficult to focus even as Yumi knelt there and talked to him, “You should had left while you had the chance”, he grumbled, slowly giving his head a shake, “You’d think it would be okay if I did such a thing without meaning it, but that’s just repeating the same scenario as all those years passed!”

Viral was fed up with himself, he wasn’t even depressed at this point but rather confused an angry. He wanted to put it all aside, but further maddening moments would only drag him down further and every step was closer and closer towards insanity. As Yumi slowly moved his paw from his face, he gave her an angry expression before looking away again, shaking his head, “I don’t know how you’re going to make this nightmare end. Who knows what I would even do after it! I barely know what is the point in all this and why I can’t find my mind again…”

"Don't worry Shu, I'm not going to crash," Takeshi said, smiling, "Just hold on tight and you'll be fine buddy!" With a small kick he launched up into the air, flying off a bit quickly but not too suddenly as not to jolt his brother. Looking over his shoulder to make sure T'charrl was following them he began to fly along in earnest. They still had no idea where they were even going yet, that hadn't really been discussed. The idea was to find some people somewhere and ask them for help on the creatures, that was about as far as the plan had gone. Heck, they couldn't even be certain that there were people on this world. It was safe to assume so, since the Saiyans had stopped here for some reason, and it sure as heck wasn't for resources. It could have been a rudimentary pit stop for all they knew and they were chasing ghosts, wasting their time here. It would be impossible to know until they actually came across somebody, or couldn't find a single soul after scouring the entire planet. If it took that long, Takeshi mused, they were going to be here for quite some time yet.

The roving hills went on for quite some time, though it did frequently turn into plains and valleys. So far this planet didn't have a whole ton going for it. There were more plants out here at least, yet not a single one that looked like it bore any sort of fruit. Takeshi was bent on finding some kind of food here, preferably fruit for Shu's sake. It was a pretty safe bet that there weren't a ton of fruits on their ship, he couldn't quite imagine soldiers munching down on apples and bananas when there was the option of meats. Bummer, he'd hoped to do something nice for Shu. Drawing ever nearer to the plateaus Takeshi was a further disappointed that there were still no signs of life, not at the base of the rocks nor on top. Even in spite of having a river running alongside it there were no indications of any kind of civilization, no tiny huts or anything. This first area then seemed unpromising, they'd probably have to head even further in. Well, they should at the very least stop on the top and get their bearings, see if anything could be spotted from there. So rather than passing on by when they got near Takeshi opted for them to land, leading himself, Shu and T'charrl down onto the rocks below. Even up here there was a bit of grass growing, albeit in patches compared to the seas of it below. Once his feet touched down on the ground the older boy glanced back at his sibling, smiling and giving him a gentle little bounce.

"This place seems kind of empty, but it can't hurt to look around a bit. Want to get down and help?" There were some crevices they could check, though it was unlikely that anyone would live in between the rocks. There didn't look like a whole lot of sun down between the plateaus, and being so far from the water the further in one went was counter-intuitive. It was a little difficult this, trying to guess how the people on this planet lived. So far everyone they'd encountered had all been pretty similar, and Takeshi doubted this was going to be an exception. Maybe the world really wasn't inhabited by anything remotely intelligent.

Yumi shook her head again, frowning as she looked at Viral sadly. "I told you I won't leave. I don't care what might happen, leaving you alone can't help anything. I mean... It would make us safer, but is it going to do you any good? We can't go hide somewhere knowing you're in pain Viral, and we refuse to do that. We're not going to leave you alone on this." It was a pretty widespread belief that Viral would likely end up going utterly mental or worse if left alone. Even among his friends and the others he seemed edgy, it was an uneasy thought then if he might be left to his own devices. Not so much concerning what he would do to others, but to himself. None of their efforts to help would amount to anything if he should be lost to them, and so they were persistent to stay with him.

"You would do whatever you want when you're better. You can keep traveling with us and fight, or you can go home, or anything you want. I think we'd all like it very much if you kept fighting with us though. It wouldn't be the same not having you with us in battle." Healthy or not Viral was a fair integral part of their team, and losing him would definitely send ripples through the group. They could all probably get along in his absence, but it wouldn't be the same. Yumi kept one of Viral's paws in her grasp, putting both hands around it as she held it to her chest, smiling kindly at him. "We'll make you feel better somehow. If you're in a nightmare then we'll wake you up. Everything is going to be okay, we just have to keep working for it, right? Just remember that no one thinks you're a monster, and no one is giving up on you. We're all here for as long as it takes to help get you through this, I promise."

The travelling wasn’t the worst part of the trip, but the lack of life anywhere was just a little eerie. T’charrl didn’t have any problems with that, he figured there was a lot of a difference when compared to his own planet. There was a lot of plant life, at least, so there had to be life elsewhere. There could had been a lot of them underground and they were just not seeing them. Watching the ground pass by him down below him, he swayed in the air as he flew along, trying to take in the detail of the plants just out of interest. The planet had its own sort of glory to it, seeing the plant life in such a little primitive manner made him happy knowing that the planet was growing and just what the first stages of life were like.

Spinning through the air a few times, he enjoyed feeling the wind beneath his wings. He didn’t get to fly very often on the surface of his own world; his people would be brought under attack if they were allowed to fly up high and above the trees. It was wonderful, but he truly believed he would get in trouble if he tried to do this on his home planet. Spinning around before flying down low, he stared at the scenery before noticing Takeshi was soon coming to a stop. Watching himself as he slowly lowered to the ground, he shook his wings a little before folding them back up, giving Shu and Takeshi a smile as they touched down.

Shu had enjoyed the ride, waving his arms around sometimes and squealing as they flew along. He didn’t care that he felt dizzy sometimes, he was definitely enjoying this and was having a great time flying around with his brother and friend. Keeping a good grip on Takeshi when he needed to, he watched as Takeshi lowered down to the ground, his eyes on the grass the whole time before he was bounced, letting out a playful squeal when he was. He was enjoying himself at least, his eyes searching the area before he looked to Takeshi, “Okay! I’ll help, I want to look around and sniff around and look for things! Maybe life is really tiny?”

Viral was a little annoyed by Yumi’s words, especially when they were fine enough with doing that all the other times. He was left outside alone a lot of the times when he was on the bug’s planet, they didn’t have so much of a concern even when they were told about what he apparently had. He would had been fine enough on his own, even with the Saiyans capturing him when he was weakened. They were all so confusing, probably that human in them that was sparking up such thoughts and reactions like that. They were all crazy, anyone else would had just left him alone and let him chart his own course after this entire run of unstable mentality, “You were all fine enough before today with leaving me alone. It’s just an excuse to try and feel useful…”

Going home and lazing around was definitely out of the question, he really didn’t know why anyone would think he’d want to do that when he had been kept within the Capsule Corp’s grounds for all his life. All of that was most likely due to instruction left by his creators to keep him away from the RRA, but it still meant he was confined and easily had grown sick of humans and their antics. He still wasn’t convinced that there was good in most of humanity, they were all so afraid of what was new and generally everything made them angry and want to go to war with each other or grab as much as possible just so they could have more. Grumbling at her suggestions, he gave his clasped paw a staring at before he looked away in annoyance, only being reminded of the Saiyan twin, “…Alright, if you say so. I’ll try to believe you”, he mumbled, giving her a quick look back, “You should learn the meaning of monster before you claim someone is not only to say something that only shows animal-like instincts is. Just what do you think I’m made of and what I do…? Is it any better than the creature that you did not see?”

Shu's delight and laughter was more than enough to bring Takeshi to a wide smile as well. If he was having this much fun as a passenger then he'd have infinitely more so when he could fly under his own power. They were definitely going to have to train, preferably even once they were finished on this hunt of theirs. It would be some time until they got back to Earth after all, so they may as well pass the time with something useful. After playfully giving Shu a little bounce he set his brother down on the grass, taking a gander about the area. It seemed so barren here, it was probably just the part of the planet they had landed on. Go figure, all the inhabitants could be on the opposite side of the world for all they knew, and here they were scrounging around in the boonies.

"I don't know how tiny it's going to be, but you might be right. There could be little tiny people on this planet, who knows?" Still, even if they were small Takeshi figured they would have seen someone by now. "Take a look around all you want, just be careful about the edges. We'll go down to the ground after we see what's up here, okay?" Hopefully they could spot something up here, anything. Even if it was something as simple as smoke that would at least five them an idea on direction. Letting Shu do as he pleased then Takeshi wandered himself over to the edge of the plateau, putting his hands on his hips and looking out around them. More plateaus stretched on for maybe a kilometer, he could just barely see the end of them before the horizon. So this went on for quite some time, that was unfortunate. If the people did indeed live here they were going to be wandering around for some time looking for them. Smiling exasperatedly he let out a sigh, running a hand through his hair. Well, probably best that they get started.

"Hey Shu? T'charrl? I'm going to go take a look on some of the other peaks, I'll be back." Shu ought to be perfectly fine on his own, and T'charrl was certainly not helpless. They could all do their own thing for now then and meet back here, that would work. Smiling at his brother and friend Takeshi gave a quick wave before leaping across a chasm to another plateau, then another and another. He wanted to see just where this outcropping ended and the plains continued, maybe there would be something worth looking into on the other side. Or it could be a total bust too. The only way he'd know is if he went over there and looked though.

Leaving Viral alone was never the intent at any point in time. Everyone worried what would happen if he were alone, so they tried to keep near him for his own safety. That didn't absolutely guarantee they were always around, as the Beastman was quick to point out. Yumi cringed visibly at his words, frowning and lowering her gaze to the grass below them. They had figured at that point he could use the sun to heal, and being stuck inside would only make him miserable. And admittedly he had slipped their mind, if only for a moment with everything else going on. But that was one instance in quite a few others where they had stuck by him. It wasn't fair that he was picking out that single moment to hold over her head. Even so, that single moment was more than enough to make her feel bad about it. It seemed awfully backwards to claim they'd always be there only to have left him alone, it was a lie and a cruel one at that.

"All of those different animals might make you, but that doesn't mean you are them." Yumi said meekly, finally lifting her gaze and looking back at Viral. "You're a mixture of them, and that makes you something else entirely. Just because a something that went into you did something doesn't mean you'll do it too." Like he wasn't going into the water and thrashing about, tearing chunks out of fish and goodness knows what else. He might be a little more animal-like in behavior, but that didn't make him an animal. Sighing softly at his question she released his paw, putting her hands in her lap and shrugging her shoulders. "I know you're made of them, but that doesn't make you them, get it? And... You are better than the creature that attacked. I mean... You're part human too, and probably even part Saiyan somewhere. Growing up you were just another person as far as Vegeta and I knew, your appearance didn't really strike us as odd. It was only later that we found out what you were that we knew, and even then we didn't care." Managing a small smile she shook her head, rubbing at one of her hands nervously. "You've got emotions, and feelings, and you can think things through. Animals might have made you, but you're a person. So yes... You're better than that creature."

Shu didn’t know why Takeshi had chosen to settle on here, but he was happy enough to go along with it and put his faith in Takeshi, even if it is a little concerning considering his head injury. Feeling fairly faithful in Takeshi’s direction, he slowly slid off his back and brushed at his tail down a little bit, “I hope they’re not tiny and that we’ve not been stepping on them, then again if you’re tiny maybe you might be really strong…” he spoke, looking down at the ground for a moment before back up to Takeshi, “I’ll be careful, I swear! I don’t want to fall off cause that will really hurt and it will really hurt, I’m sure. I can’t help but think we shouldn’t be here, though”.

It was that moment where it was just difficult to guess whether there really was life on this planet. Shu did hear T’charrl saying there was life on this planet, but he didn’t know whether he was talking about the plants or something. Looking around, it was difficult to say what lived here and just how many different species lived on this planet. It could easily be a planet that was just full of plants, but if Saiyans were here then there had to be more. Then there was wherever this creature might had come from or even what they looked like, if they even came from here at all. Frowning a little at that thought, he looked to Takeshi when he spoke, giving a little smile and a nod, “Okay! I’ll be careful! Be quick”, he nodded, turning a little when Takeshi decided to bounce away. Letting out a sigh, he turned to T’charrl, making a little run towards him, “I don’t want to find a monster by myself, it’s not nice to be sneaky-sneak around me, you see…”

Viral wasn’t sure what he should be feeling about this right now, her words not really bringing any sort of clarity to him or any signs of what might be considered positive to the conversation. She seemed pretty stuck and was just telling him everything that he already knew and it was a little discouraging to hear it all again. It meant he was failing still, he couldn’t find any way to win either. First they wanted to leave him alone, now they’re pretty concerned with keeping close to him and making sure he wasn’t going to go anywhere by himself. Just what did they know about what he might potentially do to himself when he was alone, he could even had been happier by himself.

Feeling a little spaced out, he looked back to Yumi when she began to talk again, her words only confusing him. Just what was she on about with that, her words only proving to make him feel a little insecure when it came to his genetic make-up. He had tried to prove a point about his genetics and how she seemed to think being animalistic meant being a monster, supporting his claim that he should be regarded as one if that was the case. She was turning it on its head completely, resulting in him feeling uneasy about his genetics. She must had thought all animals were inferior to humans because they had different mannerisms and different ways of living, trying to give him reassurance that he wasn’t like that.

Listening to her go on, his expression changed when she called him part-human, even going on to suggest he might have some Saiyan within him. He couldn’t help but feel insulted by that, even when it was obvious that he was human-like. All that just meant that his animal genes didn’t matter as much as being human, her little speech trying to make them sound better than the beasts. Looking to his paw and lifting it slightly, looking to her one last time before he moved to stand up, “Are you saying animals don’t have emotions and feelings too? That they don’t think about what they do and have no mind of their own?” he spoke, staring at her as he backed off, “Don’t think of me as human…I am not one! Animals have just as much of a right as you have…if not more! Daring to refer to them as monstrous just because you don’t understand them…just what do you take them for? I was the one who fought the creature, you didn’t see it! You didn’t see what it was like or how it moved! It was no different to how I fight…how I move! How I act when I’m transformed…and you still think it’s any different?”
