Name: Kate Scarlett
Age: 18

Offence: Attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and caught with illegal contraband goods.
Personality: Kate’s personality has virtually been degraded and melted down to nothing but silence and sorrowful looks since her incarceration, but before she was a kind person who loved and cared about those around her dearly. She was intuitive, with knowledge of things that no one would think of. Her passion for knowing and succeeding beyond what society expected of her was her drive through life, she was loyal and dedicated to her loved ones, which ultimately resulted in her own demise.

History: Kate was born and grew up in one of the poorest parts of the Continent to a loving mother and father and older brother, Kai. Kate and Kai, they were inseparable. From the way she grew up you wouldn’t think that she was dirt poor. That was because of her mother who made their lives the best that she could with as much happiness as she could give. But when Kate was thirteen an epidemic hit and the government sent no aid, and her mother died. The happiness was over then, her father spent all his time working to provide for them, but in reality he could look at his children without seeing their mother in them.

Kai took it the worst. He blamed the government for everything and turned to a life of crime and rebellion. While their father took on 18 hour working shifts, Kai joined a rebellion group and procured contraband fruits, vegetables and medicines for the black market, that sold them to the impoverish who were banned to have any.

As the years passed, Kai began doing more and more dangerous and risky jobs, coming home to Kate with blood stained clothing. Kate knew better to ask, and took care of him. A few days after Kai’s 21st birthday he and Kate had an argument about his crimes. He stormed out the house and for the first time, Kate followed him. He entered a small store house with dozens of preserved organs, goods, and weaponry. Kate confronted him and the two began to argue drawing the attention of two police officers. Kai pushed Kate behind a box and began to fight the officers. He knocked one out cold and the other took off to his car to call back up. He and Kate were about to run for it, when hooded men stormed into the shed and put a bag over his head. She was then locked in the shed and awaited police. No matter how many times she tried to tell her story, they wouldn’t listen. The cop Kai knocked out was in a coma and the other one didn’t even bat an eye as she was dragged away to prison sealing her fate forever.

Other: Has a little knowledge in sword fighting and gunmanship from her brother who’s ‘job’ made him familiar with such and taught her and some basic fighting moves.

Name: Lawrence Arden

Age: 19

Offence: Non-compliance with regulations, erratic (but not violent) behavior, apparent disregard of Continent Laws and authority in general.

Personality: Lawrence is a sociopath, and in his own mind he transcends other human beings or is "above them" in a sense. He neither goes directly against the Laws but neither does he take particular care in acknowledging them. It's less a spirit of rebellion and more that he just forgets, such things are not a priority in his mind. He enjoys toying with the minds of others, and has an uncanny ability to read people, find what makes them tick.

History: From a young age Lawrence had been "odd". He never took joy in playing with the other children, and he was bored by education and life in general. He spent a lot of his spare time observing the existing criminals (the ones who hadn't been floated yet) for amusement, simply because they were anomalies among the drab sameness of everyone else. Once his condition was diagnosed, he was given psychological treatment, until the therapist administering to him was found dead one day in his quarters, having killed himself. It was decided by the Council that he should simply be put away, because he was a disturbance, and if one day he happened to be cured they would let him go. Though in all honesty, they're only waiting till he's old enough to float, because one less human no matter how harmless he appeared to be, was one less mouth to feed and one less pair of lungs to breathe their precious air.

Other: Lawrence has no particular connection to any of his fellow humans, emotional or otherwise, and is generally unconcerned by his plight or their affairs. Has no particular skills other than manipulation of others, which he is unnervingly good at.

Name: Lyle Banks
Age: 18
Offence: Multiple murders along with assault on law enforcement.
Personality: In the most simple way possible, he doesn't care. Lyle would kill for anything that would "benefit" him. By that, I mean he will kill just to shut you up. Lyle's emotions were never expressed. He would always be kind of quiet. Sometimes, he will speak. But that would be very rare for someone to witness. Unless of course he likes you and considers you a friend. However this could be an issue. Lyle has the killing instinct, he is super homicidal. In basic terms, he is a secret psychopath.
History: Life was always a living hell for Lyle. Abuse, bullying, and the worst possible parents made Lyle the way he is. As soon as Lyle hit 12 he snapped on his parents. Killing the two made him more... free. When questioned by the detective as to what had happened to his parents. Lyle simply stated he was hungry and that he had no clue where his parents were. When he was told that they were dead, he simply stated he was hungry again. Soon, he would target other people that made his life a living hell. At one point, he had a plan to kill council members. He would end up killing too people to count, but not once would he get close enough to a council man to end his life. When he was found out, he was locked up, where he now awaits his 21st birthday to float into space. They added the charge of assault on law enforcement do to the fight he put up when two officers came to arrest him.
Other: Lyle likes using sharp items. Of course, he wouldn't mind using other items to kill, he just prefers sharp objects, over blunt objects.

Her existence – She was the second child born in her family.

Personality:
Lena is a remarkably normal person, considering she lived most of her life under the floorboards of her house. Her interactions with other people can sometimes be a little hasty, but overall she’s quite a sensible person. Lena is a free-spirited child. She is very adventurous, due to being forced to be hidden her entire childhood in order to keep from being discovered. She shows elements of bravery and impulsivity when she is the first person to step back on earth and when she jumps into a river. She's also very self-confident. Lena also seems to have a short temper, getting easily mad when people talked about how she was an illegal child. Although flirtatious, she cares deeply for the people she loves.
She has strong, natural leadership skills and a healthy belief in what is right and what is fair.

History:
Lena doesn’t have a history because she hasn’t had a life. The only rooms she has ever seen are the ones underneath her family’s quarters on The Continent and her cell, where she has resided since she was fourteen years old and discovered.
Her father died shortly after she was born, but when she was discovered, her mother was floated so Lena is officially an orphan.

She suffers from claustrophobia from being locked up her entire life.

Age: 16
Offence: Theft, followed by triple count of homicide.
Personality:[/ b] He has no regard for his own life and will put it in constant danger for fun or to help others. He doesnt like to show his emotions considering the few he has could be considered somewhat uncharacteristic of someone such as himself.
[b]History: He grew up with little, his parents were law abiding citizens until one day his mother announced she was pregnant. He knew what this meant, he knew what would happen to the child. He could let it happen so he started stealing food from the storage rooms, only enough so that when the child came it could survive. One day while he was in the store room he was caught, he had managed to steal near a week's work of food in that one run and knew he would be put into custody. But he didnt know the worst consequences of his actions. When the peacekeepers brought him to his home, his father answered the door and the instant it was opened they barged in and saw his mother. Her pregnancy has become somewhat apparent. His father attempted to resist them as they took her but they took him down easily. An hour later Enrique woke up in front of the Floating doors. He sat on his knees as his mother and father cradled each other, he saw one of the peacekeepers move towards the button and Enrique let out a scream. He shouted and pleaded tears streaming from his eyes as he struggled to stand against the bastards. He saw the man look back to the control panel, then there was a sound of wind. But only for a second, after that it was silent, save Enrique's sniffling. He opened his eyes and saw an empty airlock, he looked up at the man that had done the deed. The bastard couldnt even face Enrique. Enrique let his head hang and his body go limp as the peacekeepers lifted him up, he felt them loosen their grips and he lashed out with his left arm. He managed to break free however his right arm was still firmly clasped in the hand of one of the peacekeepers, Enrique spun around and started slamming the bottom of his fist into the mans face. Eventually his grip broke free and Enrique managed to sprint to the airlock control panel, he opened the main door then looked back as the peacekeepers took in what was happening. With a smile he slammed his hand down on the switch and gripped the control panel for dear life, he watched as the three men were sucked into space almost instantaneously alongside some other trash laying around. He closed the door the instant they were out. He collapsed at the foot of the door and put his head in his hands crying, within five minutes peacekeepers arrived and detained him. Since the age of 15 he has been incarcerated.
