"Well th-," before Sam could finish his sentence, a strange voice was heard from the speakers. He stood completely still, listening to the creepy voice echo through out the auditorium. "(Wow this guy seems like an a-,)" and before Sam could finish his thought, the lights went out, shrouding the area in bleak darkness. "... This better be some kind of prank," Sam said, trying his best to keep his cool. Suddenly, the lights flashed back on, revealing a teddy bear looking creature being guarded by what he thought was people in strange costumes.
Sam stared, completely dumbfounded at the situation. The talking teddy bear announced to the students that it was the dean, and that its name was Monokuma. "(Is this some kind of twisted joke,)" he thought, his eyes fixated on the bear. A drop of sweat flows down Sams face, eventually dripping off to the ground below. "(None of this makes any sense... But,)" Sam thought, "(Maybe this 'bear' knows something... Alright, calm down, calm down.)" Sam took a deep breath, and exhaled. He took a few nervous steps forward, and stopped as soon as he was five feet away from Monokuma. He stared at the bear for a bit, before asking his question.
"Uhm, e-excuse me.. Monokuma," Sam said, trying to keep his cool. "Could you p-please explain to us what the hell is going on?! (Is this a robot, a puppet, a real bear? No, it can't be the latter, that's just crazy!)" He backed up a few inches, and stopped, awaiting Monokumas answer. "(Damnit, hurry up and answer! Its bad enough that we woke up in a creepy auditorium, but throwing in a creepy teddy bear with that other shit is just making it worse!... I might just call the 'bear' Pedokuma from now on because of how creepy this 'bear' is.)" Sam chuckled to himself, as that thought calmed him for a bit, makiing the bear seem less scary than before.
