"Yes, a good question as I have yet to unpack my things." Trixy added to David's question. She wondered who she would be forced to room with if genders had to sleep together. The only other females she had met so far were the wolves and the one disheveled looking human redhead. She shook those unpleasant thoughts out of her mind, hoping that she could spend her nights in solitude. After spending centuries alone, you grow accustomed to, and fond of, the peace and quiet.

Trixy politely declined the second cigarette and shifted her weight onto her right heel so that she completely faced the Englishman and awaited his response.

"Well, we do have men's and women's quarters inside the main building, on the second floor. Each agent is assigned a room and then finds a roommate. The rooms are simple, two beds, divided equally so each person gets space. That's if they want the room. Some, typically werewolves decline the offer and decide to go set up in the surrounding forest. We're fine with that as long as they come back to the compound first thing each morning." Carson replied, scratching his chin.

"In special cases, we grant certain recruits to have their own room, though most are fine with having a friend live with them." He stated, he had been expecting the questions about the rooming situation to come up and had all the answers.

"Got all the answers. Thats good though, a squad leaders gotta have the answers." David said as he puffed on his cigarette. He found it slightly odd that a Brit was leading the team way over here in the states but shrugged it away. The UK and the US have been allies for a long time and he worked with SAS in the past. Good men. "I don't mind sharin' a room. Cant be any worse than the trenches back in France or Panama eh?" The Vampire laughed and stomped out his cigarette butt, blowing smoke one last time. He would offer his hand to Carson and shake it firmly, throwing in a nod and a "Carson." then turn to Trixy and offer a slight bow. "My Lady. If you'll excuse me, i'm guna go find a room and unpack my bag." David would wait a moment for any response before grabbing his backpack and jacket from his bike and heading back to the front door of the main building. In truth he wasn't all that tired, Vampires were typically awake at night and sleeping during the day, but he would at least establish his place of rest for now.

Trixy returned the slight bow, as Francis had once taught her that all vampires should hold sense of elevated propriety towards others, regardless of age. "But of course, monsieur, and I shall do the same." she said to David in response, letting her natural accent thicken before nodding and flitting off towards her own still-packed hybrid. Once at her trusted vehicle, Trixy popped the trunk and began tugging her luggage out of it. She had decided to pack lightly, and live a little more simply here, she only had three large suitcases of clothing and one large one for shoes. What? Okay, so maybe she didn't pack that lightly compared to other people's standards. Once she had all of her things pulled out of the car, Beatrix shut the trunk and locked the doors, causing the car to beep twice. Her vampiric strength was enough to pull all of her luggage along with her to the women's quarters, but the suitcases were still cumbersome and she therefore struggled her way to the doors.

Carson nodded and shook David's hand as the male vampire left to figure out where he would be sleeping in the compound, leaving the Englishman and the French Vampiress by themselves near the vehicle they arrived in. Trixie popped the trunk, then started pulling out her luggage, which she had brought alot of. Women, didn't matter if they were immortal blood drinkers, they still had to bring everything whenever they moved somewhere new.

He grabbed one of the suitcases, the largest one, then with a groan walked alongside here. It was heavy, he wasn't sure what the hell she brought with her. Rocks? Weights? He followed her, then pushed open the door to the facility.

"Let me help you with all this, did you bring everything you owned?" He asked with a smile as they passed through the security checkpoint into the main part of the first floor, carrying the heavy briefcase.
Jamie was about to respond when the communication's device in her ear went off, alerting her that one of the important agents in the forensics department had something to tell her. She rose a hand to the device, pressing the button which allowed her to receive messages through it.

"Jamie, you're urgently needed in the crime investigations center, we've made a breakthrough on that case, with your help we could get the entire thing figured out. Please get back here, asap.." The voice stated to her, beaming an order right in her ear.

"Uh, it's nice to meet you guys, I'm Jamie, but I'm needed right away, they just ordered me back to help with something very important." She stated with a smile, then quickly left the room to head back to her department.

Beatrix laughed lightheartedly at his comment, just like the sound of bells tinkling softly "Everything I own? Well, the compound simply wouldn't be big enough... I'm six hundred and thirty years old and currently own five estates in all different corners of the world." she eyed the suitcase he was carrying, noticing he chose the heaviest one. Oh, the bravado of men - humans especially - it made her chuckle "That one is some of my shoes and jackets, leather is a heavy fabric, you know." she said with a smile and a wink. As they entered the first floor, she wondered if perhaps she could find a quiet room in the basement away from the sun.

"Damn, five estates? That's alot to leave for our little agency." Carson replied, lugging the briefcase as he walked to the elevator, pressing the door which opened it.

"Why did you need to bring so much clothing?" He asked, placing the luggage down as Trixie stepped into the elevator after him. "What kind of room you want? Probably one in the corner I suspect? I'll see if I can pull some strings with Victor and get you a solo room." He inquired, the elevator going up then stopping on the floor which contained the men and women's quarters.

Beatrix shrugged her shoulders, her estates mattered little to her, wealth was all she had ever known. She was undead proof that money can't buy happiness. "Five estates can get pretty lonely when you are all by yourself. Not to mention, I have made more than a select few enemies over the years. Mine is a dangerous profession, you know?" Trixy said as she stepped forward into the elevator after the Englishman.

"I need a lot of clothing to choose from in order to blend into any situation, it makes for better spy work, I promise. Plus, a girls gotta have nice clothes to show off for handsome men like yourself." she said as a tease, although she new vampires were alluring enough on their own, with or without clothing. When the Englishman mentioned that he might try pull some strings for her, it brought a smile to her face. "I wouldn't mind sharing a room with another of my kind, that or being alone. As you well know, those wolves and I wouldn't make a good match... and a human, well, let's just say you might not want to tempt me in such a way." Trixy said and gave him her best angelic smile, feigning innocence.

"Yeah, well for right now I think you'll have a room to yourself. Not sure who we could bunk you with." Carson said as the doors came open. In front of them was a large hallway, one one end were two doors, one the left side one was labeled 'Women's Quarters', the other one read 'Men's Quarters'. Carson approached the door to the women's quarters but stopped before entering, placing the briefcase down on the floor.

"I don't think the ladies want me barging in there," Carson said with a small laugh. "Inside this are more doors which lead to bedrooms, I believe the ones towards the end are not occupied and free for you to use. Some of them have no windows, since most of our vampire members prefer not to have the sun shine in on them in the morning."

"Directly opposite of this door is the one to the women's restrooms, inside are showers, sinks, toilets, all that stuff," Carson stated, speaking like he had given this same speech to other new arrivals many times before. "Now if you'l excuse men, I'm going to head to my room in the officer's barracks on the third floor. Please, make yourself at home. Any questions, ask me." He said with a smile, then walked towards the elevator which he soon disappeared into as the doors closed and the device went up a floor.

"Well, I suppose our date will just have to wait," Mikael said with a wink. Inside, he thought, 'Dang, she didn't even take the bait.' He snapped his fingers in a dramatic fashion, then turned to Lupa with a sly grin on his face.

"Just trying to see what the girl's made of. I just want to know how she reacts in certain situations."

With that, Mikael took a deep breath, as if changing some internal setting to make him not sound like a total sleaze ball. After exhaling slowly, he added, "Well, I guess that just leaves you and me. I'm heading down to the cafeteria whether you come with or not."

Without a second look, Mikael left the room, heading towards the cafeteria, eager to sink his teeth into some sort of meat.

Beatrix watched the Englishman as he awkwardly backed away from the door to the ladies quarters and mentioned how they might not want him barging in, and she wondered if men were allowed in at all. With a a shoulder shrug, she pulled the suitcase Carson had carried to her side with two available fingers. "Thank you for you help, Englishman." she said to him, mentally laughing at the absurdity of her saying such a thing. Trixy headed down the hallway with four heavy suitcases in tow, walking with the all the grace of a lady in a ballgown carrying nothing but a feathered fan. Reaching the end of the hallway, Trixy did in fact find a corner room, and she opened the door with the key hanging from the doorknob... they sure were trustworthy of the recruits here.

Trixy stepped into the windowless room that was completely dark, yet she could still see perfectly. She pulled her suitcases into the room and looked around as she closed the door. "Oh my..." was all that she could manage to get out as she took in her depressing surroundings. There was no decor or personality to the room what-so-ever, and it resembled that of a college dormitory. Maybe they will allow us some free time to go shopping and spruce up the place. she thought and approached the bed on the far side of the room. Trixy was old-fashioned, and preferred to sleep in a coffin, but a bed would do for now, as there weren't any windows in the room to let the sun in. A mirror hung above a sink near the foot of the bed, Trixy couldn't help but notice that no reflection stared back at her. A small plastic-wrapped packet of linens sat at the end of the bed and Trixy snatched them up, wondering if they had a negative thread count with how coarse they were. Regardless of disappointments, Trixy made the bed and hopped up into it. She wasn't tired, as it was nightfall, but she knew that it was best to get sleep before a mission, and a vampire her age could control when she wanted to sleep - even for decades.

Eventually the night went and the compound fell silent, morning came and with it the compound once again came alive. At 10am, the meeting for Foxtrot Company, the group composed of the newest recruits who recently arrived yesterday and led by the veteran, Carson Merrow. As the new recruits settled into their seats in the briefing room, Carson stood by the front, to the side of a large monitor which at the moment simply displayed an overhead shot of the city of Los Angeles.

"Hope you all are rested, as today the fun begins," Carson stated, holding something in his hand which he pressed which caused the screen to change to the overview of some kind of building, what looked like a nightclub. "This is where we shall be heading, the SIN night club in the darkest, creepiest part of LA. A hive of vampires. While this would not normally be a problem, it has become one as more and more humans have been seen going in and not coming out of the club." He paused, clicking the device in his hand which changed the monitor's display to a blueprint of the nightclub.

"We have gathered information to launch a mission into this, the plan goes as follows. We shall split into two teams, one which will walk into the nightclub, inside this group there will be two humans, Mikael and I, along with two vampires, Trixie and David. Our vampires will act like they have brought Mikael and I as victims for whatever is happening to humans, instead we shall figure out what is going on from the inside."

"The second group, shall act as a strike force that will be set up outside a back door to the nightclub. If my group encounters trouble, such as our cover being broken, then I will give a signal and this group shall charge in through the door and aid us. This mission might end badly, worst cause it turns out into a firefight, in that case, we have been given the clear to eliminate any hostiles," He stated, folding his arms. "If this scenario occurs, then we should already have the advantage as the club does not allow guns inside. This club will be full of vampires, so that in no case does not mean it will be easy."

"Top priority is to find out why humans are being brought into this nightclub then not coming back out. We believe the owner of the nightclub, a vampire named Earl Williams," Carson paused, clicking the device to bring up a picture of what looked like a middle aged man with black hair and a goatee. "Is the mastermind of this problem. Be wary, as this vampire, is over 600 years old. I do not want him killed, if the worst case scenario occurs where it leads to a battle, then I want him taken in alive for questioning."

"The first group, the one I am in, shall be carrying concealable weapons in. That means weapons you can easily hide on yourself. Pistols, revolvers, knives, grenades, maybe a foldable SMG. We have brokered a deal with one of the doormen, he shall 'overlook' us in his patdowns and allow us inside with weapons. That does not mean I want someone to whip their gun out and threaten one of the patrons. The guns are a precaution. If all goes as planned, we won't even need to use them."

"Everyone clear on the mission?" Carson asked, clicking the monitor off.

David hardly slept over the course of the night. It was like a human trying to sleep all day when they were used to sleeping at night but he'd managed a few hours. Morning had come and he rolled out of bed and went through the routine of showering, brushing his teeth, and flossing. Vampires couldn't actually get gingivitis or anything like that but he liked to have clean chompers. He rummaged through his bag and picked out a fresh black v-neck and a pair of black jeans, getting dressed quickly and throwing on his black danners. Never without a weapon, he strapped on his shoulder holster and Glock. Groggily he walked out and to the elevator intent on the lab and breakfast.

The good Doctor was already up and about in his lab and greeted the Vampire enthusiastically. "Morning, Doc." he replied as the man handed him a pack of blood from the Vampires stock. Tempting as it was to drain the bag there, he held onto it and brought it with him to the briefing room and would drink it slowly throughout the brief. The Marine Corps had hounded that during a brief one should take as many notes as possible but being a Vampire he had terrific memory. Notes were a thing of the past. David could pay attention and enjoy his breakfast all at once. It occurred to him that he might be a tad bit disrespectful feeding in front of everyone but the thought was fleeting. They were going to see it eventually, might as well get used to it.

David would greet his teammates as he saw them, offering Mikael and Carson firm manly handshakes while giving the werewolves a respectful nod. Once he saw Trixy he would smile at her and bow his head. "Bonjur, Madame. J'espere que vous allez bien." he would greet her in her language. A small tidbit he googled on his phone.

So Carson, Mikael, Trixy, and himself were going to be main effort and the Wolves would be their backup. Not a bad plan for the situation. He could easily conceal his Glocks and enough knives to make a butcher jealous. He only had one real question on his mind.

"How about civilian casualties, are we even considering them civilians at all? The Vampires i mean. And what are our ROE's" he asked as he finished his blood pack and leaned forward in his seat, elbows on the armrests and hands clasped together.

Beatrix had successfully forced her ancient body to sleep during the moonlight hours, but the most restful sleep came in the hours between sunrise and her alarm ringing just before 9AM. The cellphone’s alarm sound cut through peaceful silence in her room like a hot knife, stirring the vampire inside. Trixy’s eyelids snapped open, revealing blazingly bright irises, her fangs shot from her gums and her claw-like fingers ripped away the sheets – ready for a fight. Smart folks knew to never wake a vampire during the day, it never ended well. As consciousness returned to the sleepy monster, Trixy relaxed her fangs and fingers, smoothed her satin pajamas and hopped down from the bed.

Trixy continued on to her normal routine of getting ready for the day (or the night, preferably). Knowing that today was the day of her first mission, she chose her make up quite specifically. Dark black with hints of blue and purple painted her eyes in a way that was mysterious, intimidating, and sexy as hell, all at the same time. With a confident pep in her step, Trixy made her way to the lab to get her breakfast ration of packaged blood. The second bag had tasted no better than the first, but she would hopefully get used to the prison food eventually. She drank it down as quickly as possible, partially because of the bad taste, but also because the bloodlust caused her to. Sustenance was sustenance, and she had many years ahead of her to indulge in luxury, so she could deal with simplicity for now.

Beatrix sat herself down in the briefing room and was pleasantly greeted by David when he walked in. “Nice job, I can tell you practiced that line, but your accent still needs some work” she said with a half-smile “And I am well, and very excited for the mission, as I hope you are.” When Carson’s voice boomed at the front of the room, Trixy silenced and turned to face him. After the Englishman briefed them on the mission, Trixy pressed her fingers together and smiled wide in anticipation, this kind of work was right up her alley. Vampire nightclubs were very fun places, but also extremely dangerous, and Trixy had been a patron to many similar venues throughout the years. With the perfect outfit already planned for the mission later, Trixy began to get excited about the fight and her ability to show off her polished skills in deception. With that thought, she offered “I could help give the humans and David lessons in the art of deception, if you wish. It is a specialty of mine that I have nearly perfected over the years, I’d be glad to pass on whatever knowledge that I can in order to better prepare the group for this mission.”

"Treat any vampires inside as hostile if the worst case scenario occurs, that is when our cover is so broken that it causes an all out battle. That is the last thing we want with this type of mission, we want to get in there, figure out what's happening to the humans, then if possible, stop it, then get out quickly, no bloodbaths, nice and easy," Carson stated, looking at David. "We don't have specifics on the number of people inside, but it is not a large club, considering it's a weeknight, the daytime, I'd estimate under 20 vampires. That's still a good number of the bloodsuckers to take out if we have to fight our way out." He said, then Trixie spoke, which caused Carson to turn his attention to her.

"That would be appreciated, that's why we're bringing you and David, you know how these places work, how to make us seem like simple patrons," He said with a nod, then looked around the rest of the group. "No more questions? Then we should get ready immediately."

"David, Trixie and Mikael, you'll want to get into something kind of classy, it's a fancier type of nightclub, maybe a collared shirt and dress pants. Not too much, no tuxs, and obviously something you can conceal weapons underneath, Half the way to get through this will be to look like we fit in," Carson said with a smile. "Lupa and Ruri, bring whatever weapons you want, but I'm going to assume you'll be going werewolf form to aid us if we need you. I'll meet you all by the garage in ten minutes, see you then." He left the room, most likely to get ready.

Shit hits the fan, everything is declared hostile. Hell yes. An Infantry Marines wet dream. David smirked to himself. Looser ROE's made everything easier and he couldn't help but think of all the good men who'd died over the last few years in the middle east due to strict rules of engagement. It also helps When your enemy is clearly defined and not hiding behind women and children. But this was a level of infiltration that the Vampire was unfamiliar with. No tactical gear, no navy seal shit. This was more like some CIA type stuff. Not Davids usual forte but he would improvise, adapt, and overcome as he always has. Trixy said she was more than happy to help him and Mikael in the art of subtly. Davids first challenge in this was to find some fancy clothes he could conceal his weapons under since his biker jacket was likely out of question. And he only had ten minutes to do it. He scoffed, ten minutes was plenty of time.

As the brief concluded he gestured for Trixy and Mikael to join him outside the briefing room door. "Trixy if you don't mind I'm going to need a quick lesson in classy Vampire club attire. And Mikael.. i hope to god you have something close to what were looking for because all i have as of now are three sets of the same clothes i have on now.."

If Beatrix hadn’t had such good control of her emotions and facial expressions, she would have flinched at the ‘bloodsuckers’ insult, you’d think Carson would have a little more respect for the race he was currently speaking with… it’s not like she could call him a ‘bloodbag’ and have that be okay. She shook it out of her mind and let him finish his spiel.

"A classy vampire nightclub, you say? Odd, I guess I'll have to leave my hooker get-up for another mission." Trixie said to Carson with a bit of a chuckle "Good thing I brought all of those clothes with me, eh, Englishman? I have the perfect outfit for every occasion." But ten minutes? That was barely enough time to lace up a corset, let alone also have to prepare the newbie vamp and humans.

When David asked for her help in vampire style advice she agreed to help him, but said that she needed to go get herself dressed first… because looking classy took a little bit more time for a woman. Trixy encouraged David to go check out what kind of clothing Mikael had to offer and agreed to meet them in the men’s quarters once she was completely ready. She used her vampiric speed to flit away from David and the others and go back to her room. Trixy slung one of the suitcases on her bed and unzipped it. Once the zipper was about halfway undone, the pressure of the clothing inside caused the top of the suitcase to fly open and clothes flung about. Beatrix couldn’t help but laugh as she rifled through them to find the correct articles. She pulled on a pair of black fishnets and laced up a dark black and blue leather corset, pulling the strings so tight that a human in her place would have broken ribs and no way to breathe. Trixy’s skirt fluffed out from the bottom of the corset in gothic elegance, with tufts of black tulle at her hips that could easily holster and conceal her dual pistols, she had it designed for that purpose. Her combat knife was hidden underneath her corset and between her shoulder blades. Trixy clipped a miniature black top hat with dark feathers, lace, and a birdcage veil in her hair. If she could see herself in the mirror, she knew that she would look the perfect part of a Victorian-era vampire.

Before even a few moments had passed, she was well on her way to the men’s quarters to meet up with David and Mikael.

Mikael woke up, well, he stood up. He hadn't slept much through the night before. Since his family died, he didn't really sleep. He was walking around shortly before the sun rose, knowing today would be the day for a mission. He slid into a pair of black jeans and a cutoff, which he normally would have covered in a floor length trench coat, but since the barracks air conditioning, or at least the unit in his room, was on the fritz, Mikael left the coat hanging on a hook on the wall. The night before, he had somewhat unpacked the little clothing he had. The small dresser in the corner of the room now contained three pairs of black jeans, two pairs of slacks, three black cutoff shirts, a silver dress shirt and a dark, blood-colored dress shirt along with the necessary socks and undergarments. Mikael also had a black sports coat. While he normally chose not to wear the dressier clothes, they were the main things he wore when trying to get laid or, depending on the job, job interviews.

Mikael waltzed out of his room and the the bathroom, brushing his teeth while he showered to save some time. After grooming, Mikael went down the stairs and to the mess hall, filling a bowl with hot cereal, raisins, and some toast on the side. Shortly after finishing his food, Mikael went and grabbed a cup of black tea, adding sugar for taste, along with two cans of Monster energy drink to keep him going through the day. He then rolled out of the complex, lit one of the cigarettes he had found buried in his pack the night before, and took in the sunrise. He was the first to arrive at the meeting and finished his tea just as Carson began to speak.
Mikael looked at David with a grin, almost chuckling at the thought of David dressed up. He then nodded and said, "Yeah, I have a set of dress clothes you could borrow, just bring your weapons and meet me in my room." He then stood up, nodded to Carson, and left the room. While he was waiting for David, Mikael put on one set of dress pants, the silver shirt, and the sports coat, sliding his .44 Anaconda into one of the inner pockets on the coat, using the bulk bear the buttons to conceal the handle. He then placed his combat knife in the special made sheath located in his boot.

David would thank Trixy before she left via her vampiric speed. One of the powers that the male found most useful. Once it was just him and Mikael the human confirmed that he had an extra set of dress clothes he could use, which David prayed would be fitting for the plethora of knives he liked to carry in the field. The two walked back to their quarters and while Mikael went to his room to dress, David went to gather his weapons from his own room. Another Glock with holster that could be strapped pretty much anywhere on the body but was intended as the opposite side for his current under arm shoulder holster. His assortment of blades and sheathes came next. Two inner forearm sheathes, the cross body bandolier, and two calf sheathes. There were more of course but those were the easiest to conceal and each sported a full sized combat knife while the bandolier featured five smaller throwing knives. With the weaponry draped over his shoulder he exited the room and locked it behind him. Before he could take a step towards Mikaels room the door to the mens quarters opened and a very pleasant sight greeted him. Trixy strolled into the corridor in her mission outfit and Davids jaw nearly hit the floor. 'Wow..' he mouthed, quite visibly.

He noticed he was staring and quickly regained his composure. "Madame.. Trixy." he cleared his throat. "You look absolutely stunning." David said with a smile. "Well.. shall we attempt to turn this war dog into a proper Vampire gentleman?" he said with a laugh as he knocked on Mikaels door. She really was quite beautiful. He thought so before too but that outfit knocked him dead, in a manner of speaking.

Trixy rounded the corner and saw David, still dressed in his street clothes. Before she could be disappointed, his compliments and body language softened her feelings. She could practically taste his desire in the air; He was young still, he had little control of his emotions, and even less experience with female vampires. Beatrix considered herself the average, all female vampires were gorgeous, it was just one of the many ways that monsters like her could lure in their prey.

“Why thank you David… but I think we’ll keep you as a war dog. Sure, I will help you to look more enticing, but the vampires we are going to see are from gentlemen and ladies.” Trixy said to him with a half-smile as he knocked on the door. “We don’t want you to seem weak to them, else wise you may end up being chained up against a wall like those humans most likely are. We will need to act like them, which will come easier to me for I was that way for some time. I am also deceitful… so tell me, David, are you a good liar?” she asked.
