Jameson was suddenly alerted to something, although his body did not show it, he had noticed something off. He could not pinpoint what, that was until the point the bronze dragon he had inadvertently noticed shifted forms. He knew of very few creatures that could shift forms so fluently, and the choice of form gave away the creature as what it was. Jameson's instincts told him the creature meant no harm, but for cautions sake he reached into his overcoat and loaded his crossbow. Against a dragon it would not be much, but Jameson knew he would not take his true form in such a small corridor, so he hoped to use that to his advantage if it came to blows.
Jameson smiled and thanked Hotaru for taking the boy in. "I will try my best to find him a proper home, in the mean time, thank you." He bowed and fell too the back of the group. He wanted to keep an eye on their new follower, and hopefully get some alone time to find out just what his intentions were. An allied dragon would be extremely helpful for their group. He pulled a home made cigar from within his clothes and lit it. He breathed in the sweet taste. This was his second to last cigar, he would savor it well. Something told him he wouldn't get to make many more of these fine treats.
