for now everyone ignore Jonxathlion's posts.... I have private messaged him about our little problem... depending on his response he may or may not be in this roleplay anymore. Until then continue on with the main story line of us vs Eliphas.

EWillden said Side from that our heroes have one single goal to stop Eliphas no matter what. Right now that is pushing towards finding this Samuel character of Elise because Samuel has locked away one of Eliphas's most loyal servants.

Okay, now lets ask the question why? Why did samuel lock Eliphas' servant away? Because he was going to take over the world? If he's taking over the world, who is he taking it from? God? If he's taking it over from God, then how did God establish his dominance? Much the same way?
So, in theory if this all happened and Eliphas had won and has successfully taken over the world what would the world be like? Why would it be bad from the world our Heroes are living in now? especially if the living beings that reside under Eliphas' control are born under that control would they know no difference than living under a king just as humans do?

Could it be that Eliphas is just trying to create a more equalized world for Demons and fight against the propaganda against them?

Or is he just some ancient Demon mistake that God forgot to rub out when he was done and now God just wants to see what his little creations do? If Eliphas is something that wasn't created by GOD then does that mean that GOD is not actually GOD?
These are the questions that oversee everything that is happening. It gives reason and drive for characters to investigate.

The Succubus Queen had placed a curse upon Samuel and when the curse was over Samuel went on a journey meet that same Succubus and battled it out. Samuel won by imprisoning her.

As for Eliphas's desires for taking over the world. He just wants it for his own not because Kurn was once God's. he always craved it and wanted it and dreamt of it like no other sense his first walk upon its surface. He was banished from Kurn and thrown into the abyss where all Tanar'ri reside. There he waited his 1000 year sentence. His love, the Succubus remained in wait but got careless finding Samuel a easy distraction. When the sentence was over she and Eliphas had to make a compromise so Aries the Erinyes in place of the Succubus Queen put Eliphas's return into motion. When he arrived he moved against Lithium as a test of his strength.

Kurn was once God's? So God just turned his back on Kurn? If God doesn't want to reign over Kurn then why does Ishmael exist? Why is it a bad thing that Eliphas wants to take the pot?

Craving something and dreaming of something can also be described as having a passion for something.

He is a ancient demon however but his feelings about the world of Kurn is a simple desire of greed and lust. Kurn's beauty was just desired for his own.

No it is still God's I am just saying that Eliphas's desire for Kurn isnt because of god. God hasn't abandoned it which is why the church has moved against Eliphas. Which is why Ishmael is here.

So Eliphas just functions on hedonistic hungers and doesn't have too much of a consciousness?

Eliphas will mold Kurn to his desires. The tearing down of all churches and statues. The people will be made slaves and bread for that such. Elves will have no stay within his kingdom. They will have their heads put on a pike.

Well he is a demon, and that is kind of the definition of your classic demon if I may say, well at least hedonism is, but I guess the consciousness part is applicable too in this case

Oh his decisions are his own. The abyss was maddening and wanted a rightful kingdom for him and his mistress. Kurn ruled by Eliphas and The Succubus Queen . It was to be both of theirs as a testament to his love for her.

Thhhheeeeeerrrreeeeee we go, that's what I was looking for. Okay, that is the root of everything the Heroes are trying to prevent. The SUM of the entire idea of the rp in one sentence. That is the reason why they are there, to keep the balance between the humans and the demons/angels.

Sure, I guess if you define consciousness that way. I was thinking in terms of morals but than again I am studying Psych so everything is studied in terms of morality XDXDXD

The heroes will try to prevent it, the villians trying to make it a reality.

Well if a being is going on instinct or just mere hedonistic behavior then you can conclude that the choices that do not help them towards that hedonistic need he will avoid.
And because of that it'll close his mind off of higher reasoning and other possibilities because it doesn't pertain to what he wants. Eliphas doesn't want to rule Kurn because he wants to make kurn better, he doesn't care about going against god and probably hasn't thought of the consequences of going against god.

Thus he doesn't really... Think.. about things that won't benefit him. Basically what a wild animal does.

I was also going to have it revealed more as to Why Lithium was attacked. The tomb that Nova holds is the first key in the puzzle of three into finding Samuel the keeper of the Succubus Queen. Samuel was a member of the Church at some point. Anyhow it will all come together soon enough.
