"You boys ever visit these parts before?"

"No Sir, our first time here."

"Well, Drysprings has that ugly beauty to it, ya know? Everythin's dead for miles, but it has this sort o' peace. Doesn' help that the Prowlers are getting fiercer."

A dusty wooden wagon made its way down a dirt road. The deep blue sky had no cloud, the sun beat down, and over the horses' footsteps and the carriage wheels moving, you could hear a falcon screech, and rattlesnakes hissing. The man steering the wagon was a middle aged man with a stained white shirt and jeans. His dusty hat fit the attire, and so did his yellow teeth. But he was a friendly man who meant no harm.

In the coach were two men. One wore a dusty worn out suit, with an ammo belt around his torso. A handkerchief was wrapped around his neck as well, and a gold necklace was tucked behind his stained collared shirt. His black suit jacket was dusty and worn as well as his matching pants. On his sides were two silver revolvers in well condition, and as the older man talked, the man's dark green eyes under his dusty old hat examined his tomahawk. "Heard they killed off some of their high ranks. Now you gotta be a messed up son' bitch to do that..." The man said. The man with the tomahawk, Raymond Chase, looked up, giving a fake laugh of disbelief.
"Come on! Here, Dwayne! Dakota! Take some of this shit!"
BANG
"They're here! Shit, get some guys blocking us, we need to go!:

"Is that so?" They became sort of a myth back in the cities. No one really thinks any of them." Raymond Chase said, looking outside now, seeing a town coming closer and closer to them.

"Oh they're real and deadly alright, a lot of cold blooded killers they are. They seem to stay away from this town though, not sure why. Maybe its the sheriff here."
At that comment Raymond glanced over at his long friend, Dakota Hendricks, giving a grin as if saying "Yeeeaaaahhh, that's the reason..."

Raymond sat back and listened to the man ramble on and on about the stories of the legendary gang. Raymond and Dakota knew the stories well, and for the most part, they were the truth.
"We got the cash in? Good, lets get the fuck out of here-- AGH!"

"What the--?!"

Raymond chase and Dakota Hendricks hit the dirt road, blood slowly dripping down them in the chest, both breathing heavily as the larger and crazier looking man stood over them. "Sorry, Ray... Nothing personal.... consider this your retirement."

"We're here! Welcome to Drysprings!"

Raymond opened the door and stepped out. He glanced around as he placed his tomahawk on his belt. It was a rather large settlement. Mercantiles, gun shops, a barber, tailors, a sheriff's office, and the largest place a classic style saloon. There were also cabins, ranches, and a mansion leading off the main road. Drysprings wasn't a bad looking town... but it was filled with criminals though. But Raymond and Dakota didn't care. This was the ideal spot to start for their revenge against Dwayne Robins.

"Thank you, Sir. It was much appreciated." Raymond said, handing him his payment, plus extra. Ray knew he was a notorious outlaw, but he was trying to change that a bit to the innocent. It won't stop him from going to hell, but it makes him feel a bit better. "No problem, Mister. Hope you find what you're looking for out here in Nevada." The man rode off, leaving Raymond and Dakota in the middle of the dirt road.

Dakota blinked the dust out of his eyes as the man rode back down the dirt road. He turned to take in the town he and Raymond had arrived in. It was a bigger place than he was expecting, filled with many houses, big and small, along with shops for anything a guy could need. His chestnut brown eyes settled on a sign that read in big, bold letters: SALOON. He swallowed, suddenly realizing how thirsty he was. He had run out of water just before they got into town.

"Hey," Dakota said, throwing Raymond a grin and jabbing a thumb at the old-fashioned building. "What do you say we grab something to drink and get ourselves acquainted with some of the locals? Who knows, maybe we'll even find a fellow or two willing to join our little ragtag group of outlaws."

Without waiting for a reply, Dakota sauntered over to the saloon and pushed open the swinging doors. He felt eyes on him as he walked up to the bartender. The other people were obviously sizing him up since he was new. Estimating if he was an easy target. Well, let them think what they will, Dakota chose to ignore them. He plopped onto a stool and waited for the bartender to approach him.

"What'll it be?" the man asked in a gruff tone.

"I'll take a whiskey," Dakota answered. He looked over at Raymond and waited for his friend to decide.
