[OOC] [Suspect] To His Liking. [Pope]

[iSuspect]

This is a Elder Vampire x Newborn Vampire pairing roleplay.

Tired of a solitary existence, a vampire lord goes out one night and finds a young man to his liking, and turns him. After his re-birth the youngster severs his new master, but it doesn't take long for him to realize that that is not what the master needs. He sees the disdain the master has for the other obedient servants and decides to try and figure out what the master wants. He drags the master outside at night, to look at stars, or go into town for night events and festivals. He mouths off to some of the more assholic guests at his master's parties. Furious at first at the young one's actions, he punishes him, but over time, he begins realizing that things are getting more fun with the boy around. He thinks perhaps he's found what he's looking for.

I get a very detailed picture in my head what my character looks like, as I know most people do, so the break down of it makes it easier on me so I don't end up with a three paragraph block of text under the single heading "Appearance". Background id always optional, but I like having it on my guy so that if I ferget something while I type, I can go back up and go "Oh yeah, that's what his mother's name is/was!" if say her life/death had a strong impact on his life. So, yeah, yers looks fine and covers most of what I like to know about my partner's character. I think mine is just as simple, just more broken up :P

Yeah, I'll use mine since I have a basic character at the start of the roleplay, plus it leaves more development for my character.

And I understand what you mean by the whole background thing. :)

You know, I just read through our PMs and you never told me which you wanted to be, Elder or Newborn? Or we did and I just missed it. I know I lean more towards the Elder myself, but I can try newborn if you wanna be Elder :P

I usually let whatever happens, happens. LOL. But if you want to talk about setting and the plot some more then I'm all for that as well.

I'm all for rolling with the punches, but I've found that RPs last longer when both participants are invested with not just their characters, but with all aspects of the world they are jumping into. So while I have no intention of planning everything out by any means, I would like to discuss some of the more pertinent details and work with you on creating a setting we are both happy with that would be conducive to both out muses.

I like writing long sentences, I've just noticed. it's a new thing and I will try to work on it. :P

So, which first, Plot or Setting?

We were planning on discussing the setting or plot. Whichever you want to discuss first.

Okay. Did you have anything in mind?

I was thinking an 1800s England type setting, but not England. I like not doing RPs on earth, but places like them, so we can avoid nit picking about historical inaccuracies, and stuff like that, y'know? But, yeah, maybe a big manor house, with a stable and a very big lawn, on the edge of a lake, in one of those towns where there are a few rich aristocratic families that my guy can invite to parties, and close enough to other towns or a big city that occasionally he can host really big parties :P This will also help with his turning a young man. He can't really do it IN the town he's in, the kid might be recognized, so he'll go to the big city where the kid is less likely to be missed. Thoughts? Additions?

Yeah, maybe that can be a starting point in the roleplay, where the Elder Vamp is hosting a gigantic party and there he meets his prey. Haha.

Maybe my character could be apart of one of the richest families in the area, or something? :/

That would make the after affects of turning him very interesting. He would either need to never invite that family again, or come up with a good excuse for the family as to why the young noble is staying with him now :P
