From the moment they met, they had been inseparable: Where he went, there she followed. Through laughter, tears and folly, the two stuck together as one. It didn't matter what life threw at them, or how bad life would get. As long as they had each other, they were fine. Others came and went, but the bond the two shared was never broken nor matched. All through the tender childhood years, through the hardships of highschool, their friendship never faltered. They were, easily said, the best of friends the world had ever seen. There was just one small problem:

That best friend... is imaginary.

Nobody else could see it. A figment of imagination, that was all that this friend was. A "phase" that would blow over. A quirky character trait that would surely disappear with adulthood. They did not understand. It didn't matter what they said or thought. To the two friends, it didn't matter. They knew what was real. Their friendship could not be denied. Could not be broken.

Or could it?

This rp would be about a young adult about to head to university/college. At the cusp of adulthood, they are eager to go out into the world, meet new people, find new experiences, live the college life. And of course, where they go, their friend follows.

However, with the changes that student life brings, the new people that come along, and the drive to "grow up" and become someone, things simply will be different. And for the first time in their life, the student finds themselves drawn away from their imagination, into the social circles they had so long avoided in favour of their best friend. But what does this mean for one, lone imaginary friend, not wanting to let go? And what happens if an imaginary friend goes bad?

I would like this to be a high-casual to advanced rp, FxM. I'd prefer to play the female, but I have no preference over playing the "real" or the "imaginary" friend. I've got several options for this rp as well as far as how "dark" it can go. It can be a light-hearted ghostbuster-like high-jinx comedy, or a dark psychological thriller experimenting with the limits of sanity.

If interested, send me a PM. I promise I write better than I describe plots!
