Backstory

The town of Acantha sits smack dab in the middle of an enchanted forest. Acantha takes the supernatural in, people who have been cast out by the 'Norms'
Supernatural's live here in peace, going to school, living, growing families, the like. But an evil is threatening their entire life... Will you fight for the Town? Or for the people that wish to destroy it...
The door to Acantha is through a tree, most supernaturals will see it...

That's how you can sum up their lives. William looked back and forth, sweat traveling down his face and worry. He held his baby sister, she was only 1 year old at the time, and he was a helpless seventeen year old, he hadn't even harnessed his powers yet. He lived in a town that took the supernatural in, but wasn't enchanted so people wouldn't find them like Acantha is. Norms started burning and blowing up the woods, their mother and father were the first causalities William held Allison (Allie) close to his chest and ran, tears streamed down the poor babies face.He ran as far as he could into the woods, deeper and darker until he fell threw a tree and into this new town.... Acantha, the people of Acantha saw what happened to the poor two. They gave them a house to live in and food to eat, eventually William moved into a house of his own. When Allie turned six, they let her go live with Will.

Race: Seer.
Why are they against Acantha?: Vivian thought that Acantha made dragons obliterate his empire, it was also a mission for him to dominate well-known locations other than his own homeland. It was also because of his mother's death, a bad 'friend' of hers came from Acantha as well.
Weapon of Choice: His wits, intelligence, his eyes and his own bare hands.
Backstory: Vivian was born in a family of high power. He was raised in a major city which held his empire, a well-known location. He's been alone for as he can remember, not having any friends due to a lack of freedom. Vivian has a younger brother that he hates with a passion, a twin brother on which he is very close to, another younger brother who was left and is now living with a childhood caretaker and once again, another late young brother who died of misfortune, taken into exile. Vivian is the heir of the empire of Arland. His mother, a moral support to the heir, persuaded his father to give Vivian just a little freedom outside his tower. Vivian was later introduced to the arts of predicting which led his father to become even more stricter due to the death of his mother. It was sad, his emotions were invisible, hidden away from the world and it was even more sad since Vivian could predict that his mother would died of an illness. He was overwhelmed by the death of his mother and the pressure, making him flee into the woods, living there for just fifteen minutes. He later came back to his tower. Unfortunately, Vivian's siblings died of assassination as he, himself survived many. He grew into a fine age, rather to be known of generosity or strength, Vivian was knew in the land to be 'feared'. As he predicted, within weeks, he didn't get his title of an emperor due to dragons taking over the empire and burning it down with very little remains. Vivian was angered. He felt that the generous town of Acantha made the dragons fly away to the empire of Arland and it was also the fact that there was only one mission for him to do. Burn down Acantha.

Name: Gurthang One-Eye
Age: 42
Gender: male
Appearance: Gurthang is a rather... complex sight. He stands just under 8 feet and has very wide shoulders. His arms and legs are quite muscular, but he doesn't quite have the usual musculature of an orc. His back is noticeably straighter than most orcs and somehow despite his size the man seems oddly frail. His face is handsome to a degree that it could be called beautiful by some - if it weren't for the misshapen, obviously broken nose and rather unnerving pair of teeth that jut out from under his lower lip and extend a bit past his upper lip. His left eye is missing, replaced by a large pearl which occasionally pulses with magical energy. A nasty scar runs under the pearl from Gurthan's left temple to under his nose and all the way to the right side of his chin, making him look more than slightly intimidating. His right eye is yellow - like that of a wolf. Gurthang's long blonde hair is like a messy and unkempt mane that extends well past his shoulders.

For clothing Gurthang wears simple gray clothes - slightly baggy pants, a wide sleeved shirt and a very worn and tattered cape. A wide leather belt is wrapped around his waist to hold his falcata. The only part of his clothing that doesn't seem quite as worn are the pair of large leather boots that seem to always be in impeccable condition.

Race: half-elf, half orc

Why are they against Acantha?: Gurthang loathes everything 'perfect' with unnerving ferocity. His own existence is a sore reminder that there are so many imperfections in the world to fuel his anger and for the time being has decided to direct it towards Acantha due to his skewed logic that it is somehow a 'perfect' place to live since there are all kinds of magical beings there.

Weapon of Choice: Magical power from the Orb embedded in place of his left eye and an overtly large falcata sword with a wolf's head pommel.

Backstory: Gurthang had always been an outcast due to his half breed status, his childhood was marked with so many wrongdoings directed towards himself that it slowly began chipping away his sanity. Still he managed to keep himself from actually killing anyone for several years. Sometime after turning 16 Gurthang accidentally killed four of his closest friends after a sparring accident that caused him to lose his eye. After that he spent years in exile, searching for a purpose in life, never staying in one place for long. For a while Gurthang was a quite common sight in Acantha - though he always eyed everyone with suspicion and seemed to think the people did not trust him due to his appearance. The last time he had visited Acantha he had been different. A pearl had replaced his missing eye, it occasionally pulsed with magical energy and seemed to slowly drive him mad. In a nearly unstoppable fit of rage Gurthang slew several people before leaving, swearing revenge on the 'perfect' village that was Acantha and all the 'perfect people within it's boundaries.
