Don't worry, we all start as new players so don't worry about making few mistakes here and there, you'll learn soon enough. If you haven't looked at the New User's Guide , that might be a good idea to do. You can find the link in the sig. Besides making sure that you post your posts in the IC and keep other chats and discussions in the OOC section and making sure to read your post before posting, I can't think of anything on the spot but if you have any questions at all, feel free to PM me and I'll be more than happy to help you out.

To help with "power modding" I would suggest just thinking about how real life works. Can you make somebody lift a hand or leg? Can you make them speak or make them feel a certain way? Give your partner that you're playing with time to react to what you're doing. Don't take too many steps ahead of what they could do in their post. Role playing can move pretty slowly. Some people don't mind if you take liberties with their character's to some extent but I would make sure that you've got their understanding as to what you're doing perhaps in a private message etc. ..Just my take on things, hope that helps.

Roleplaying is not that hard to get used too, just a bit tedious to become eloquent in it.

I know this is pretty old, but I haven't been here in three months.
Do you "bump up" a RP by posting a new post on it? Or am I getting mixed up?
