Victor sighed in relief, he could finally go back to being a nobody that sat in the corner of the room. He slowly walked to the cafeteria and sat down at a table far from everyone, "Why are we in such a rotten mood?" His alternate personality piped in after a few minutes of silence. "Oh don't pretend you weren't there for that terrible performance... I mean, we do share the same body." The boy replied with a sigh of disappointment. "Victor speaks the truth, but we know better than to just make a scene." Victor slowly placed his head on the table, "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Roxy grumbled as she made her way to the cafeteria. She hated being in a group. She was aloner by nature. She wasnt good with people. Victor was a good example if her lack in skill. He hadnt acknowledges her at all.

Nate fell at the steps of the academy, exhausted, and weak, it was all he could do to knock on the doors of the Academy, 'Someone please answer' he thought, he started fading in and out 'please answer' his powers started to help in a way, the shadows in the cafeteria started to move and spelled out 'Answer the Door, Hurry'

Victor sighed, "Don't worry about it." He didn't look at Jayden or make a gesture towards him, he was still sulking over the fact that he was the worst one out of everyone during the obstical course and even his alternate personality wasn't helping him at all.

Rosy saw the shadows moving and knew she wasn't the one doing it. She stepped into the nearest shadow and headed towards the door. "What the hell?" She asked when she saw a boy laying on the steps. She could run get the teachers or take him to the teachers. She grabbed him and drug him into shadows towards where she had last seen the teachers.

he looked like he has been running for days, dirt and grim on his face, his eyes droopy from the lack of sleep, he hasnt slept for days, and he then mumbled something and the shadows seemed to whisper, around them and his voice seemed a little clearer through the shadows 'thank you' the shadows seemed to form shapes and figures, and then there it was a chilling sensation in aersir as they were right in front of the teachers

"Don't thank me yet." Roxy snapped. She hated having people in her personal space. So by helping him she had broken her own rule. Now it appeared that she would have to share the shadow world with him too. The shadow world had been her place to escape when the world was against her. She had always been alone there. That appeared to no longer be the case. The boys ability seemed slightly different from hers. He could do way more which frustrated here. "Found this out front. Thought he might need your help."

The teachers nodded. They laid their hands on the boy and sent their healing energies through him. He would feel a warm sensation through his body. When they moved back all his injuries would be healed and he would feel refreshed. "Do you have a name?"

he opened his eyes and looked around and slowly reached for the one that brought him in, there was a power connection, he sensed it, he then heard 'Do you have a name?' he nodded "Nate" he looked back Roxy and then he felt that bitter loneliness, and he didnt want to be alone "please stay, it feels good not to be alone"

he opened his eyes and looked around and slowly reached for the one that brought him in, there was a power connection, he sensed it, he then heard 'Do you have a name?' he nodded "Nate" he looked back Roxy and then he felt that bitter loneliness, and he didnt want to be alone "please stay, it feels good not to be alone"

Roxy sighed. She leaned against a nearby wall and crossed her arms. "I'm not much of a people person." She told him. She figured she might as well stay. Dealing with one person was better then dealing with a whole lunch room full of people. "Did you lose a fight?"

he smiled and shook his head, "im not a people person either" he then reached for some water and when he heard 'did you loose a fight he looked back at her, "No, i ran all the way here from California, i was discovered and hunted, like my parents," he then looked down and sighed, "Ive been a loner since, so i know the feeling, i even thought being in a cult would help me not feel alone, i was wrong"

Victor sat up and sighed, he felt bad that he snapped at the teachers. "You think I should say something to them?" The boy asked, "The teachers I mean. I did treat them unfairly." His alternate personality nodded, "If it weighs so heavy in our heart, then yes." Victor ran a hand across his face and stood up, searching the area for the teachers. After some searching he finally found them, but he also found Roxy and another new kid who seemed to have been through some rough times. The boy stood there with a questioning look, "What happened here?"

After some searching he finally found them, but he also found Roxy and another new kid who seemed to have been through some rough times. The boy stood there with a questioning look, "What happened here?"

"We have a new arrival." The teachers explained. "Roxy found him outside. I would suggest taking him to the lunch room. If he did run all the way from California then he is going to be starving."

he looked at the teachers "i hardly eat as it is" he looked back at roxy, "dont you sometime hate being alone?"

Roxy shrugged. "It is safer to be alone. I prefer it." She told him simply. She glared at Victor when he included her in his plans to look after Nate. "His name is Nate. And you are welcome to him." She stepped back into the shadows heading towards the classroom.

"You are not the first nor are you likely to be the last to become frustrated with us." The teachers said. "You must learn balance. You can not depend on your power because you might not always have it."

"You are not the first nor are you likely to be the last to become frustrated with us." The teachers said. "You must learn balance. You can not depend on your power because you might not always have it."

Victor sighed sadly at Roxy's glare, "Good going Victor..." He ran a hand across his face as he nodded at the teachers in acknowledgement, "I'll try to remember that." The boy walked up to Nate and reached out his hand for a hand shake, "Hey, sorry for not finding out your name... Mine's Victor by the way."

he watched as she sank into the shadows and then he turned to the teachers as they brought him some food

Katherin carefully followed the others to the lunch room. She sat at the first table she came to. She waited patiently for everyone to get their food before attempting to get hers. Once everyone was seated she would get hers.
