They were a proud race off people known to them as Cinn Adharc. Though human in appearance, they did have horns on their heads, upper and lower fangs, as well as claws. The women were known to have small horns, and the men where known to be towering and strong. Though fearsome in appearance, they were peaceful beings who loved and cared for their own. But the humans saw them as monsters and demons and set out to capture to either kill, or enslave them. Unprepaired for the numbers that the humans held, the Cinn Adharc were soon captured, killed, or enslaved. The ones who were enslaved were sold into brothels, homes of nobles, or if you were male, into the Colosseum for the entertainment of humans. No longer where they called Cinn Adharc, but instead were given the name of Demons.
He was born into this world, a mother who was sold as a demon concubine and a father who was unknown. As a child, he was sold into the colosseum to fight. Much older now, he fights to stay alive, yet known as the strongest fighter out there.
She was a princess who had a bit of a wild streak. She loved to travel and see new sights. One day, a friend tells her about the colosseum where demon slaves fight for their lives. Interested, she goes and see's one of the most magnificent demon fighting out there. In a quick decision, she buys him in hopes that he becomes her companion as well as her body guard.
What she doesn't realize is that she will need him more then she knows, and he doesn't know that she might be his fated female...
