Wild Badgers? Really? Have you seen Gryffindors lately? or Slytherin? Hufflepuff is a loyal group of people who can work together. They are an extremely powerful house. It's because of stereotype that Hufflepuffs are insulted and made fun of. The sorting hat in 'Harry Potter and the Order of phoenix' stated Hufflepuff took the rest of the students that didn't belong in the other house. Just because of that they're viewed as the worst house. Which is really ridiculous. Each house has their own issues and weaknesses. I think you need to look at what each house has the offer, instead of just thinking about that all the bad things about Hufflepuffs and the fact that they weren't mentioned as much as the other houses. I think J.K. Rowling didn't mention them as much because she wanted to show people something. Let's face it, we don't really value Loyalty. Our society, we don't at all. She didn't talk about Hufflepuff because of that. She was making a statement. J.K. Rowling said that she was proud that her daughter said she was a Hufflepuff. She even said that Hufflepuff was her favorite house. So you're going to judge the house over the fact that they weren't mentioned? I think that's hypocritical and stupid.
I'd also like to point out, that in the battle of Hogwarts, Hufflepuff had the second largest group that fought against Voldemort. Beside Harry's house Gryffindor (which was number 1) of course. Not Slytherin. Not Ravenclaw. But the House you claim is a bunch of wild badgers? Yup, Hufflepuff. Not because they wanted to be legends like a lot of the Gryffindors but because they were loyal to their school and didn't want Voldemort taking over what they loved.
Let's all just accept the fact that Hufflepuff isn't the worst house. The houses are all equal.I feel like I'm campaigning for equal rights or something lol.
