I want to know who the best fighters are. When I say best fighters, I don't mean who can type the longest or uses advanced vocabulary, that's none of my concern. I'm asking who - plausibly, the top five - is capable of using true art, and pulling off a good interesting match? Don't name anyone who takes roleplay too seriously. It isn't a profession, but a sport, one that I've come to love and devote my time to, alike every single one of you. But, that's beside the point, I'm rambling like an old fool. PM me the top five when you've come to an understanding. Until then, I'll be watching over the fighting topics and noting who is worthy enough to fight against me.
Not to be condescending, but those who DO fight me, and lose will get the chance to be taught by me. Those who win, I have no rights to implant my knowledge into. Unless they ask for it themselves.
Thank you, peace.

If we can request a match without being on a top five list, I'd like to have a go at you. Anyone who thinks as highly of himself as you obviously do is either going to be a great match or no match at all. ;)

I don't think you quite understand the essence of this kind of Roleplay, not to sound rude, but it comes off as if you think there's a universal consensus over who's the best and worst.

Of all the Arena Roleplayers I can consistently write posts of any length and quality depending on who I'm roleplaying with. I like to match whoever I'm writing against, sometimes adding in an extra paragraph or two for good measure.

Am I the best? No.

But I'm certainly not the worst.

There is no 'best' in Arena Roleplay. Anyone who claims to be the best has this bad habit of godmodding when put on the spot. I like to think that there's five levels of Arena Roleplayers.

Newbies: People who have played for only a little while, or have played on and off but were never great.
Casuals: Your average Arena Roleplayer, they'll post now and then and can write respectable posts. Nothing that excels beyond the norm, but respectable.
Competitive: The usual sort that you'll attract with a large scale arena, they've been at this for a while and are good at it. Taking pride in their posts and putting feeling into them.
Advanced: Have been playing longer than most, can write astonishing ranges of posts detailing any number of action. Some of the best reside in this category.
Remarkable: And here's the best, alright, maybe not the best. But they can outwrite a good number of roleplayers and back all but the best into corners. They've put time, effort, and passion into their roleplaying. And it really shows.

Now, if you'd like to step into the ring with a couple of our favorite characters I'd show you what I've got. Because I tend to enjoy peacocking how good I am when I'm really into a roleplay.

Not sure if there's a best. As far as roleplaying goes, I don't think anybody can really take it serious enough to call it an "art". Anybody who does, should just get up and write a book. As for who can give you the most interesting battle, it kinda depends what you're looking for. I'm up to the challenge though.

So why didn't I PM you? Because there's no top 5. Roleplayer Guild is the only forum I've seen to ever implement an arena, and I think it's only to keep the scrappy fighty types in here.
