Rucks looked at his watch, 4 hours. Shit, he'd gone over and almost missed his flight to his Sisters house in England. He needed to get there in 9 hours or he'd miss his Nieces birthday, something he'd promised he would turn up for months ago.
He'd been practising his new-found skills and could easily travel a hundred metres at any given time, he didn't even need to focus for it anymore. Being a God really took the learning curve away - rather boring if you asked Rucks. Anyway the extra hour allowed him to list his abilities:
1. Instantaneous travel - he could travel anywhere within a 100 metre radius of his current location. The down side was that he couldn't increase this range even if he focused and it seemed to have a one second 'lock out' which left him wide open.
2. Manipulation of the winds - a natural ability to have considering his domain. There wasn't really much he couldn't do with this power so long as there were brief winds around him. Heck he could probably use someone's breath if he so desired.
3. Flight - This took Rucks an entire hour to develop alone. Mastering the ability hadn't even occurred to him yet. All the ability really required him to do was funnel air around him at a constant pace, never allowing it to leave his influence. As soon as some air escaped the flight was broken. As a result he needed to really concentrate on this one. It may take him weeks to be able to use it in combat.
4. Ethereal messaging - This ones rather boring. It happened when Rucks was writing in the sand to determine his priorities. Simply put if he wrote something anywhere he would be able to engrave it there. This was taken further when Rucks wrote down something simpler. A sigil followed by one word. He had been using his name so far. This ability allowed him to then transfer that message elsewhere. Useful.
Now, what to do before he left? There were several blips on his mind. Too many for them to all be gods... Perhaps this would be the right time to test his messaging system? After all it was one of his domains so it would probably be useful at some point. He scrawled the sign in the air, the sigil consisting of what seemed to be an asterisk within some form of musical note and one word: Tap
Rucks had gathered that his name would better be private from all the gods as of now. He'd read that ancient cultures considered them to have power - perhaps it was true? Anyway. Should the others receive the message it would float in front of them. The word was simply an instruction. Tap the entity and the message would open out; it's contents? Two simple words: Chaos ensues.
Maybe that would cause something interesting to happen later. For now Rucks had a plane to catch.
