This thread is a continuation of the original Of Deceptive Intentions, wiped by the move to the new site. But it's all good, we're back and better than ever!! Without further adieu, I'll give you a small rundown of what you've missed.
To any who are not familiar with out roleplay here, it features anthropomorphic characters, so if that makes you uncomfortable, please read no farther.
And that's all of it! Seems we're ready to start and first post shall be mine. ^_^

Lykos Shar, a colonel and powerful sorcerer in the Army of Tunay'ruk, had a small regiment of men under his sole command. The countries of Tunay'ruk and Riverslade, separated by a small nation of Gaira. However, as the undiscovered territory to the East was in the process of exploration by the two nations, war broke out at the dividing line, both Riverslade and Tunay'ruk wanting every millimeter of land they could win. Ciscera, a white tigress from Riverslade, marched on Shar's regiment, killing or capturing all of his soldiers. Riverslade, being highly anti-magic, writes off the practice as dishonourable and kills the two magicians under Shar's command and captures him after he challenged Ciscera to a head-to-head battle. While the brawl was fairly even, Shar finally came out on top. However, just when he was sure to win, something turned the tide of the fight between the two... As Shar was to take his victory over the killer of his uncle and his direct enemy, both were transported somewhere strange...
On a celestial plane, the two wandered with naught but basic clothing as Ciscera claimed that Shar was using trickery and creating illusions. They were faced with mysterious beings who showed them a display of what they were told was their world, many years ago. The warning was that history was to repeat itself. The land they were conquering was once plentiful and peaceful; a uptopia, truly. A world without war or famine, without loss or death. However, in mountains to the far East, a mining operation dug far more deeply than they'd ever gone before. A great beast awakened... Creatures of all shapes and sizes burst forth alongside the behemoth, terrorizing... destroying everything in its wake. The world was wiped clean... As though being reset. However, soon, there would be a victor in the war for the East and an extremely quick expansion. The beings did not merely predict, they prophesied that it would happen again. Not to the utopia of a world in the past, but with the extremely fast expansion, they would soon find and take from the mountain. It would return and bring terror and darkness to the world once more.
After returning to the fight, Shar and Ciscera were in the same place they had been when leaving, but in their surprise, Ciscera overtook the colonel and claimed that the prophecy was false claims and a sorcerer's trick. The remainder of the soldiers were taken to Riverslade's capital and locked away. During the trip, we found that Lykos has the ability to walk between dreams; He has such control over his mind that he can not only create his own, but travel to another's and alter it. It was because of this, he discovered that Ciscera had inconspicuously murdered one of her officers in his sleep due to his talk of possible mutiny. Back in the capital, Shar would be driven to the edge of his life before being forced into a torturous interrogation room with Ciscera. However, during the interrogation, more mystery pops up as Lykos appears possessed by a creature who again warns Ciscera of her pride and the danger of the future if the two did not come together. She is told that she was to be arrested and killed, as her identity had been stolen and replaced by an imposter. After she had taken victory over Shar, she had begun wearing his family's cloak; a very well-known heirloom. However, this was interpreted as defection by the one who charged her, whoever it was, and then revealed to be a type of conspiracy against her. The murder of her officer, however, was found to be truth, and the pair had to run. They fought their way up to a room, where Ciscera quickly dispatched two nobles of the castle and they used the room to rest. Or rather, Shar did, and they found food. After resting, Shar recovered and let Ciscera take a turn sleeping. He left the room to see if he could get some coin and returned for Ciscera, then the two left.
As they left, somebody recognized one of them, as Ciscera's appearance is very well known and white tigresses are quite rare. A dangerous scene ensued and Shar kciked up a massive smoke screen, then incapacited a few guards with magic, rendering him even weaker. The pair found the only location that would completely hide them, much to Lykos' dismay. It was a brothel. Ciscera and he shared a room but they had to choose a "slave" to stay with them. They chose a young girl named Iris Argyris, who was once the daughter of a chieftan in Gaira of a small, nomadic tribe. She was captured and her family slaughtered by her captors.
