Tiger - Slums Alleyway - Light
The cowboy lowered his weapons as she told her side of the story. She said she had been stabbed, but here was no sign of blood anywhere, nor any distress on her body. But what took him off guard was what she had said first and foremost. She stated that she was at the scene of the battle with the metas. This caused Tiger to put two and two together and figure out she was also a meta - due to the whole, throwing a man over buildings and stuff.
"Okay darlin', but you can't throw an ordinary human across the sky and stuff, it could kill'em!" the cowboy started. He had a code he lived by, one that gave him the desire to keep living people alive. You may call him cliche with the whole hero thing, but it was just his person, not his alias. It might have started opposite to that theory, but Anthony has learned to be good - at least that's what he believes.
Anyhow, Tiger continued to speak to this lady. "Next time, just.........I don't know...........knock'em out or somethin" the cowboy stated, scratching his head through his hat. Light then commented on his home and the people of it. It was true, nothing much ever happened in the slums. There were never metas around, just thugs who stole from stores and killed when they didn't get what they wanted.
"These are good people out here, they won't call the cops, nobody does nowadays. They're scared of snitching. So........they ain't gonna do anythin' to you don't worry. But regardless, we have to get out of here. The guy you threw, he has a gang, a rather large one. Follow me" he said, running out the alleyway the way he had entered. On the other side of the building, one could hear 'thug slang' from numerous people. "See, there they go" Tiger said, walking normally since the thugs couldn't see them. He then opened the door to some random rundown building. "After you ma'am." He wasn't gonna take her to his house, she would know who he was if he did that.
It was already night time by the time the gang had disappeared and found no trace of them. The cowboy sat in a chair just staring at Light for a couple minutes. "So, you've got super strength. What else can you do?" he asked her, curious of her abilities. He never really envied metas, just saw them as strange. It seemed all metahumans had it rough in this new world, well, except for the ones in the Justice League - the ones labeled actual 'Heroes'.
"I'm Tiger" the cowboy finally introduced himself.
