"Sebastian, Penny, Thomas, and Pandora who will guard your flag?" Roxy asked

Eryx had been sitting in the back of the small group, trying to be invisible and hopefully succeeding at it. However now a question was asked and in light of not wanting them mad he slowly raised his hand to show hehad played the game before. He stood straight up, no longer ttrying to hide as much but not very comfortable with the grouping here. He had played, it was simple and the tackling would make for a small but semi fun challenge. He noticed after a moment however that raising his hand would just attract attention to him but tob let it be acknowledged he put it down slowly. He chewed his lower lip with a small step back, tempted to put his back to something but with nothing nearby he waited.

Eryx stepped to her, trying to minimize his awkwardness. He let his lip go and looked down to the woman who'd called him over. He didn't like it here hut hoped it wouldn't last long anyway. He didn't care what team he was on, tackles could be defensive too and he had already formulated just how to counter many different types. He processed this as ye waited for her judgement on a team, and he adjusted the name plate he had to wear.

Eryx wasn't good with names, since he never properly met them. However, the Savant Sebastian was an easy mark, Eryx found it difficult to see intelligence in most of the people he had seen and that boy had been noted. He took his side, not getting in close but defining his place in this game. "H-h..." He tried desperately to greet his team but the number was difficult and he quickly succumbed to silence again.
