Jeffery tells Thomas he would catch up with him later and grabs his book bag and stands up from his seat. He saw the group leader of Halcyon, Liz, and remembered that he hadn't introduced himself yet. He wasn't much of a talker any way, but he thought he should talk to the group leader. He walked over to where Liz was sitting and said, "Hello my name is Jeffery, I thought I should introduce myself since you're the leader for Halcyon, the group I chose." While introducing himself he returned to a habit of scratching the back of his head, which is what he does when he's nervous while speaking to someone.

Liz blushed when the boy introduced himself. She was never comfortable talking to others but it was harder to talk to boys then anyone else. "Thank you for choosing my group. I look forward to getting to know you and the others. My name is Liz. Which you already know. Sorry."

The last word made seemed oddly placed to Jeffery, "sorry about what exactly." He also noticed that she blushed when he started speaking, "I can tell your nervous and to tell the truth I am too. I mean today I've spoken more than I have in the past month." Jeffery paused and remembered yesterdays events, "not counting yesterday as I yelled at the guys that dragged me on that bus," he laughs a little bit remembering his reaction to the men dragging him from his room in the orphanage.

Thomas bid Jeffery farewell when he noticed the girl in the prison outfit and decoded this was a good time as any to introduce himself. He adjusted his suit and walked over to her "Hello there good lady!

Roxy leaned against the wall near her groups side. She was measuring up the new arrivals.her plan was simple. She was going to take over the school to prove to her father that she could.

Penny is lucky she isn't eating at the moment when Thomas says hello introducing himself and calling her Good Lady.
She cracks up giggling a moment then says to Thomas
"Please excuse me Sir for long has it been since I heard myself referred to as Good Lady, Lady or especially Good.
Oh I've been called Bad Penny, Crazy little Bitch and other less flattering names but not Good Lady. she stifles a giggle then continues
"So what's your angle Good Sir?" she asks
Penny's eyes glitter with mischief as she looks at Thomas expectantly

I never had a boyfriend because the places I've been frown on Coed habitation, you a good kisser cause my last girlfriend Big Emmy was great?" Penny says her laughing eyes hiding a calculating appraisal of Thomas's reaction to her attitude.

"I'm sure you would have done fine as a greeter," he says, after he says this he looks at the table and sees his sleeve is about halfway up his arm and he pulls the sleeve down very hastily. He realized instantly that he's still talking to someone and there's nothing he can do to distract from the obvious action. He just shuts up and waits to see if she noticed.

Thomas detected a hint of sarcasm in Pennys voice but ignored it "Oh? Well Big Emmy must have been quite the lady" Thomas said choosing to avoid the trap set before him " As for me being a good kisser? Well... the former women in my life say that i am indeed a wonderful lover, if they spoke true i cannot say you would have to find out for yourself I suppose" Thomas chuckeled "Apologies good lady that was crude of me"

Penny Laughs softly her eyes shifting in intent
"So what Club, Faction, Philosophy or other wise do you belong to?" she asks with less bite to her words
Penny has too many times been stung by false friend since her abduction by the state and finds it near impossible to not view all with suspicion

Thomas was thankful she took his approach light heartedly and so he relaxed a little "I joined the Halcyon, and no offence intended kind lady, the most normal ones. The Savant seem to be self righteous and the Sedition seem to be a bunch of reckless, unorganised children. As for Philosophy well, i have never been one for the subject I just do what is right at the time and deal with the consequences later. More fun that way!"

Hoping Liz doesn't bring up the topic at a later date, Jeffery bids her farewell. Instead now he locates Thomas and decides right now it's best to stick with someone you know. He especially thought this when he heard that Roxy, leader of the Sedition, had knives on her. He walks over to where Thomas was, "Hey Thomas I just wanted to introduce myself to Liz real quick." He then realizes who Thomas is talking to, "I didn't figure you for much of a lady's man when I first met you Thomas," he lets out a short laugh too but didn't want to seem to rude.

"Perhaps I am not but both sexes deserve my respect" Thomas said dodging away from any further awkwardness "Jeffrey this is Penny, Penny this is Jeffrey"

Sebastian overheard the thing about Savant being 'self-righteous'. he hoped others wouldn't think of him like that, he had not planned to be selfish or anything of that sort.

"Wow Thomas you are a true gentleman, definitely the most proper person I've ever met. But then again I grew up with a bunch of brats who barely had an education." Jeffery then turns his attention to the woman Thomas was talking to, "as Thomas said my name is Jeffery, nice to meet you Penny."

Penny's smile shifts slightly and her eyes harden but her words are now less flippant as she speaks
"Me I think I'm in Sedition because it's where I'll find kindered spirits who refuse to conform to false authority.
Halcyon describes an idealized, idyllic or peaceful time usually a time in the past that's viewed as perfect because nostalgia has a way of blinding people to reality.
Savant a person of learning; especially one with detailed knowledge in some specialized field like science or literature though my favorite are the  idiot savant.

"So you joined Sedition from what I heard, an... interesting choice to say the least. I joined Halcyon to find some sort of peace or at least an area with the least conflict, I like to stay neutral and draw little attention to myself. However I hate this place, almost as nightmarish as the orphanage I grew up in. Only thing that could make this place any worse was if that old hag that lead the orphanage was here to bitch about us being useless freeloaders who nobody wants," after saying this he started to laugh. As soon as he stopped he said, "after leaving there I can laugh at how evil she was."

I thought that was the way life really was till I got a reality check now I see what a steaming pile the world is.

Jeffery lost track of himself, he went way too far into his past almost instantly he stopped talking and looked down.

"You know I'm pretty sure each of us has a story of woe and we could debate till the sun fades into a white dwarf who's is the most tragic but in the end we're just the island of misfit toys that no one wants and we're too big an embarrassment to allow freedom.
