Okay here is this one! I will put our last post few post for a refresh to look at.
Everett gasped, seeing Raina's car creeping up from the corner of his eyes. She was gaining speed and they were almost side by side, and he knew that she would be taking the lead after their first turn, it was one of his weakness to take wide turns, this would be his demise, because he knew his girl was going to win.
Everett was positive she wouldn't let him live it down and that would be a huge dent to his ego.
Lotus blushed when she heard Caleb's offer, she shook her head, just in case there was anyone, which there wasn't. Truth of the matter was she was too embarrassed, she was feeling a strong passion for Caleb, one that burned with an intense fire she cannot extinguish. There was no way she could catch herself from falling in love.
"Thank you but no thank you," she whispered, though she took the liberty of sitting extremely close to him, she could smell his cologne and she knew she was definitely done for with the guy she is sitting next to.
----
Once they were side by side, she smiled at the fact she might just win this race. They were both going up against the first turn when Raina noticed he was taking the turn to wide and knew this was one of his weaknesses. She took the advantage, speeding up quickly before cutting him off to take the lead. She knew she was sure to win now and as much as she wanted to gloat, it just didn't seem right to do to the poor guy.
He had already been so sure that he would win so she didn't want to poke an open wound, no, she had a better idea. She passed over the checkered line, signaling that she had won the race between them and happily jumped out of the car. She waited for him to stop and get out of the car as well, pulling off her helmet off as she waited.
"If you are sure. The race shouldn't be to long anyway so we will be getting up to take our turn at it. Remember, don't go easy on me." Caleb grinned at the girl next to him, happy that she was sitting so close to him. He moved his arm around her shoulder, not really thinking about the movement as he did it, eyes on the race. Caleb just loved the feel of Lotus being so close and he couldn't deny the feelings growing every second she was with him or every moment he thought of her.
