Lady Violetta smiled at the exquisite creature as she spoke "You have arrived at Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. You must have somehow slipped into the Bridgemix Solar System as we were leaving the Milkyway Galaxy. We would love to have you stay with us and I doubt that you can get back to your own world. At least not until the next passing and if that planet happens to align itself just right. Would kind of sustenance do you require? Hay? Oats? Water?" she asked as she gazed at Angeleon.
Draconic arts? Angeleon didn't know what to make of that. He looked deep into Lady Violetta's eyes as he spoke into her mind. "Staying is fine, I suppose, if there is some good I can do here. And oats and water would be wonderful, thank you." He didn't require either of those things, but he believed it rude to refuse a gift, besides he did like the taste of such things. "I also have a question I would like to ask you. What do you mean by Draconic Arts, where I am from most wild dragons are evil, only a few have I ever met to be a good creature. And they were usually shown mercy and then taught to no longer do their evil deeds, and even then that doesn't always work. Though I have never heard of one raised from birth, I imagine that would make raising them right a lot easier. I know someone who wants to attempt it, but dragons guard their eggs as closely as they guard their treasure. And I would rather not risk the lives of others by hoping you can tame such savage beasts. A few black sheep doesn't excuse a whole species. You may think me viscous, but I do what I must to protect innocents. I do not think you would condone evil, but my second question, which is probably the more important one, is this. What is your motive behind teaching Draconic Arts? " Angeleon often went back and forth with himself, was it right to judge all dragons? Or should he give each one a chance first? He was afraid if he did, then it would bite him in the butt later, perhaps even literally. He had a guess as to what she meant by Draconic arts, and he could understand why she would want to experiment with such things. He would just want to make sure he was ready if something went wrong.
James listened attentively to the Pegacorn, James thought that you should wait to be attacked before taking aggressive action. He thought that you should seek for a peaceful solution to every problem, as best as you can, But in the end if they refuse to stand down, and someone will die if you don't take action, then you do need to.
Chastity had gone to her room, she started putting her things away, making sure that everything looked perfect, if she didn't want the staff to touch all her stuff then she needed to have everything already be the best looking it could. She had to do this with her father, because of his OCD, he, like Palantine had to everything immaculate looking. And didn't care that it was her room, she had no privacy in her home. It was only when she made things look to his satisfaction did he leave it alone. She figured that would be the same with Pallantine. She had already thought that Pallantine was a lot like her father, and initially she did want to be friends with him because of it. But even though she loves her father his OCD always put a block in there relationship, and with Palantine seeming to be similar, she couldn't help but be mad at him. She had hoped this wouldn't be like her home life, but more and more it seemed like it would be, the differences were, she didn't really have friends to help her through it, and she couldn't just leave when that failed her. Even though two of the others seemed to be willing to give her a chance she had no guarantee that they wouldn't give up after seeing all the problems she had. Chastity started to cry into her pillow, she didn't know how she was going to get through this. She wanted to put on her music to comfort her, but even that pleasure she was denied. No music, art, or friends to help Chasity in her depression, perhaps this time she would commit suicide. But when her pets saw her in tears they rushed to help her. The dragon, stroked her arm with it's head, while the birds rubbed her cheeks, while softly and quietly singing her favorite calming song. She smiled at them still in tears, but she felt much better. "I guess I do have you guys, right? Count my blessings, and if they aren't any, then wait a little while to get some. That's what my brother always says. He's smart when he isn't being a total do**he." She shook her head, trying to not think about him. She looked at her three pets. "I love you guys, you don't care about all my issues, do you?" She smiled at them as they continued to comfort her.
