So many years into the future and the Mutants are all still on frantic edge. Around every corner stands a new threat against them. The Humans have gotten smarter with the advances of their technology, caught onto Mutant games and their ways of thinking (for the most part.) The Government has managed to produce the X-Gene Obliterating 'Cure' in mass quantities and has distributed it throughout their forces, both large and small - though that isn't the only anti-Mutant weapon they hold in their advantage now. Mutants are stripped of their powers every day, leaving them harmless, useless, and as normal as any other Human Being out there.
A faction against this has risen, however. Mutants protesting this new future have gathered in numbers, their protests to the Cure and the Military having grown into violent actions throughout the years. They strike back at the Government as fiercely as said Government strikes against them- neither are willing to back down or give up - even after so many years of feuding. Students residing within the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters (yes, it's still standing) have even began to join within the Faction's numbers, much to the protests of their Professors.
War, it seems, has become the only option. Humans armed only with their Chemical Weapons and Mutants with only themselves - though that in and of itself can be enough in some cases. Survival will only be granted to those deemed fittest for it.
