For Arch: watching, class plans, vacation in the Caribbean. As for everyone else, what would you be doing on a normal school day at a Duel Academy? You'd be allowed to watch, but if there were someone who didn't want to, they'd have some kind of study hall or something that they could go to.

@Josh: Exhibition Duel is not the same as an Entrance Exam. Brent's an old student. The Exhibition Duel is between two Duelists who get picked to show off to new students.

Question: is it even possible to activate a field spell during an action duel?

I'm using my blackwing deck from rl, so scripting is quite simple.

@Scar: Not 100% sure on this, but since Action Fields are still treated as Field Spell Cards, I'll say probably not.

Hmm... then maybe that's why this whole "2 field spells at the same time" rule was added, so then field spells could still be played, and if any others were played, the player's field spell would be replaced.

Hmmmm . . . I'm thinking the Action Field for Brent vs. Amelia will be "Magical Broadway". That'll keep her from having to move too much, I think.

My thing with the "two at one time" thing is that it may count as both players having a copy of it active at one time (kind of like Speed World), as it says "You can activate Action Cards" rather than "Either player can activate Action Cards".

If regular field spells can't be used, then that's gonna suck for a lot of decks.

It's possible to make it without them. Besides, you get Action Cards, which typically are beneficial.

And a question of personal interest: what do we do about cards with monster spirits in them (assuming there are any)?
