Turning to Caster, "Maybe this year, you aren't the in thing, how did you say, fairest of them all?" William said with a shit eating grin.

Caster raised her fist and clenched tightly. "Goddamn it Branson, you know I hate that Disney shit." William made a pouty face and Caster just sighed. But they loved each other for it, the bond between master and servant changes with time, the power balance changes and that is one reason they allowed the head mages of each year to keep their servant, having power over someone else, while they have power over you, would be full of lessons they would need when they became adult mages.

"I'm a failure, but I want to enter this tournament to prove to myself, that I can do what I set out to do. So Alysis I will pay you for your time, if you mentor me into becoming a badass. Sound fair?"

"The House of Rhea are willing to help any prospects to our house, of just help hinder those in houses we admantly don't wish to succeed, such as Isis." Gabby said as he eyeballed Damien.

A shroud of darkness shut out everyone but Alysis and Damien, and Damien's Silence Origin took effect.

For that reason, I'd like you to stay alive and in the tourney. Just don't let jack and jill over there in on this, I'd greatly appreciate it."

"BTFO Damien." Ella sneered at the upperclassmen as he disappeared with Alysis. It was a huge rumour, that Damien had tried to stabotage the twins in order to allow a member of his house to win. But the twin's managed to win, so even if it wasn't true, they took any chance to belittle Damien, despite the fact they feared him slightly, in the way if another warrior doesn't at least acknowledge that sense they may lose then it wasn't true respect.

Not only was Damien a master of hand to hand fighting, but his magecraft was intertwined and worked well with it and that was before you introduced his Caster.
