Wait, that was a Noble Phantasm? I thought that was just magic, which is why Saber was trying to stop it, preventing someone from using a Noble Phantasm just because they couldn't talk would be ridiculous.

You're going to need to clarify where I'm autohitting, because I don't see it. I only said that Saber was aiming for Caster's throat, I never said he'd already hit her or anything like that. I expected her to dodge or block, the maneuver's only purpose was to disrupt the spell she was trying to cast on Alysis.
As for William, I don't see anywhere where it says that he actually blocked with Gram; to me it sounded like he was just standing there and allowing it to hit him, while making a lighting rod with Gram in hope that once it had struck him it would be channeled out of his body. Since I'd explicitly said that once the lightning struck him it wouldn't leave his body, that would not have worked.
If you're still seeing something I don't then I'll correct it.

I'm not actually sure. I was half awake when I typed that up, so feel free to veto it. I mean, Alysis is a first year student, there's got to be some times when she overestimates her magic. :maybe

Well William pointed Gram towards Alysis' lightning and used his Alchemy to make an iron ore stand to hold it infront of himself so the lightning would go into Gram and into the ground. Like he turned it into a magical lightning rod, by attaching it to the ground but this meant he needn't have to hold it, and Caster's NP then teleported it away anyways.

And with Caster, I allowed Saber's neck strike to happen, then I wrote she used a NP, and then.

"The moment Saber successfully made contact with Caster, he used the moment of surprise to slam his hand against her jaw and clamp down, preventing her from speaking and therefore casting her spell. He then bore her the ground, smashing her against the floor. Saber then the forearm of his other arm against Caster's throat and the leaned down, seeking to choke her out.
"My apologies." he said. "But I've learned that when facing a superior force, you do what you have to do.""

You posted this cancelling out the second half of my post, when nothing I did was a hit or damaging to you, it even let you win the battle, instead. You canceled it and said Saber chokeslamed her.

I think things got a little confusing.

The lightning is being directed through its connection to Alysis's arms, remember. Just conjuring up a lighting rod, on its own, in no way forces the lightning to actually hit it instead of William.
And Caster did what now?

Ah, I see. Yeah that was bad. I'll change that.

"Confusing"? I'd say so.

Well the Lightning rod was directing infront of William unless Alysis can control her lightning at such a young age to do hairpin turns, it would work much like how heat seeker missiles fuck up.

And how can Alysis control the direction of the lightning anyways, an existence origin doesn't explain that really. Maybe a control origin, but an existence based on what it has done in the past works as Quintessence if used with lightning somewhat. And I still don't know what she placed in the earth? Prana, Electricity, and it needs to pass through ice and snow first anyways.

Well, what I intended was that Alysis had tied the existence of the lightning to the existence of her arms, so that they would mimic each other to a certain extent, allowing her to control the movement of the lighting through the movements of her arms. Its something Archmage!Alysis could have pulled off, but now that you mention it, Student!Alysis probably couldn't. I think I'm having trouble with powering her down properly.

I think I'm just going to erase the ground thing entirely. The more I think about in an awake state, the less I think it would actually work.

Yea it's fine, I wasn't trying to get on your case, I was just asking how things worked, once again miscommunication.

Archmage Alysis I wouldn't have questioned a single thing she did, she was my favourite. Although the existence Origin still always catches me off guard with what it can do.

But you won the card anyways, so I conceeded the win to you, now if you guess her identity, I'll give you two cards. Seeing as she used her NP it may be guessable now.

Nah, its fine, it probably better to hammer out such problems now rather than later. Like I said, I'm having trouble powering her down.

Along with my Hive character Wrasse, Alysis is definitely my favorite character that I've made.

My legend lore has never been great. If I can't find it through Google, then I probably won't be able to figure it out. So I don't know who she is.

I like them, and I thought the Arcana Alumni should be familiar faces for the cameo feel (and to save on character designs) :maybe
And what prize does Alysis want, William already gave her the card and Caster gave her a magic apple.

Its not that I don't like them, its just that everything associated with the Seventh War is forever tainted due to the sheer bullshit that went down. To be fair, the Jesus Twins of the Roman Werewolves power creeped fast and hard.
